Campervan nearly new and in good condition.
Good explanations while delivering the camper.
Very helpful and sympathic desk.
Simple process to give the camper back.
Very small "glitches" but we lived effortlessly with them.

Our campervan was reasonably clean and in good condition, the staff was friendly and responsive prior to and during pick-up/drop-off, and the pick-up and turn-in process was quick and straight-forward.

My only complaints are a) the bedding, while supposedly clean and wrapped in plastic, had a bunch of long hairs in it when it was opened b) the top sheet/duvet cover we were issued was too small for the bed and c) the pre-pick-up emails were confusing as I continued to receive check-in requests after I had already checked-in on-line (and was not prompted during the process to upload my photo docs during the check-in and had to waste time doing so at the pick-up location).

Everything was OK, except that we had to wait for long hours because they had to put new tyres on ...
But we got some compensation by the status of "high priority" at the end of the renting period, thx!

The team was very accomodating and supportive. Took the time even though it was a quite busy day.
Minor issue was solved quickly and in a great way.

Would use them again

Our recent motorhome rental with BunkCampers was very disappointing. The vehicle had a foul-smelling fridge we couldn’t use, repeated electrical and gas failures that left us without hot water and caused safety concerns, and even basic equipment like a kettle was missing despite prior confirmation. Overall, the poor condition of the motorhome and lack of reliability significantly disrupted and undermined our holiday experience.

Great van and the app from Bunk Campers on where you can park overnight is a must.

The camper was great, pickup was not. You could only pick it up after 3pm (everyone was there so only got going after 5pm) meaning you lost nearly a day and the staff did a hard sell for extra insurance.

service is fine, quality of the camper a little bit less. Almost new camper and already things broken and not fixed before the new customer.

Unless the check before.. the sliders for both windows didn't work anymore (so not possible to let a window open), the indicator for clean water didn't work (always 25%) and the indicator for the grey water didn't work (no indication at all).

Staff was friendly and very helpfull, was quick picking up and dropping off

I already rented a BUnk Campers motorhome in Scotland last year and I had a 5 stars experience.
Unfortunately, this year after leaving the garage we discovered that the leisure battery was broken down and and had never charged since the first day. Also the fridge had technical problems. All this created big problems during the trip.
In addition, we waited at least 3 hours to pick up the motorhome and one of the three linnen set was dirt.
I definitely suggest Bunk Campers Company because motorhomes are new, but I suggest to the company to check with more attention the campers before renting them to costumers.

This was my first motorhome rental experience. Very easy to book online. All the pre pick up information was great, including the videos of how things work in the motorhome. The motorhome was great, had everything I expected and more. The handover at pick up at the Dublin depot was really detailed and everything explained very clearly. The only slight negative is that there was a lot of people picking up at the same time, so took longer than I anticipated as I had to wait my turn. Drop off at the end of the rental was smooth and quick. I had no issues during the rental period. It would be nice if a welcome pack was included that included some basics such as toilet roll, washing up liquid, dish cloth, tea towel, tea bags, salt & pepper & cooking oil. However I knew that these were not provided so this is only a suggestion for future. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely use again.

We had a very positive experience renting a camper van from Bunk Campers in Dublin. From the moment we arrived at reception, the staff were welcoming, professional, and attentive. They guided us through each step of the process, from checking our documents to patiently answering all our questions.

The handover of the vehicle was smooth and timely. We received a clear and detailed explanation of how everything worked inside the camper, including all the comforts and features, which made us feel confident and ready for the road.

Very good condition of the camper, except some minor faults not communicated but with no impact. Price is very high

The price was good value and great to have the freedom to roam around. Perhaps give people details of the Shannon river pass when they book its great value and makes planning easy.

Our experience with Bunk Campers in Irland was definitely a positive one!

The camper itself was practically brand new and incredibly comfortable for our group of five. We truly enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend this rental to others looking for a great adventure.

There are just a few minor suggestions we'd like to offer regarding the provided equipment, which could make future rentals even better:

More Pots and Pans: A few additional cooking pots would be very helpful, especially for larger groups or longer trips.

Tablecloths and Cleaning Rags: Including a basic tablecloth and some cleaning rags would be a nice touch for convenience and keeping things tidy.

Outdoor Awning/Waterproof Shade: A waterproof awning or outdoor tent would be a fantastic addition, providing more usable outdoor space and shelter from the elements.

These are small points, but they would definitely enhance the overall experience.

Despite these minor suggestions, we had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this camper rental. We look forward to our next adventure!

I hired a camper from Bunk Campers in August 2025. The pre- and post-rental inspection reports recorded no new damage, and I was assured on return that my €400 deposit would be refunded.

Four days later, the deposit was still not released. The company insisted it had been refunded but could not provide any transaction reference. After repeated chasing, an invoice for the exact same amount suddenly appeared, alleging “sand in the engine air filter” — something never inspected before or after the rental and not accessible to renters. Despite repeated requests, no evidence proving this damage was ever provided.

I also went through their grievance process, which in my experience lacked clarity. At the end, they simply repeated the same statement about “sand damage” without providing any of the requested evidence.

Reading other Trustpilot and Google reviews, this seems to be part of a wider pattern where deposits are delayed or withheld without clear justification. In my view, the grievance process was ineffective, and communication inconsistent.

In my opinion, renting from this company carries significant risk. To avoid unnecessary stress and charges, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Einfache Übergabe. Je nach Ansturm sollte genügend Zeit eingerechnet werden. Die Übergabe selbst ist eine kurze Angelegenheit, wenn alles in Ordnung ist.

Not charging, no water no refrigerator, missing cups and mugs and no kitchen towel, no battery on campervan side, so lost all our grocery, bad bad experience
