Birkdale Garage Doors Omdömen 

From initial online quotation to completed installation of the new garage roller door has been less than 3 weeks. All members of the Birkdale team that have been in contact over that period have been courteous and professional. The finished product looks great too. Couldn’t be happier.

Very happy with purchasing a roller garage door from Birkdale. Various staff I spoke to in the office always helpful during the numerous calls I made to request colour samples etc & the two fitters Glen & Bill installed the door perfectly. There was a minor hick up with the fitting of the door ( batons needed as garage is pre cast concrete type) but the fitters resolved this easily. Matching trim to finish the job was originally too narrow but after a call to the office new trim was supplied & fitted by same fitters soon afterwards. I have only had the door for just over two weeks but so far everything is working fine.

I had worst experience with Garage door. The installation was sub-standard and they kept gap in the door which I then have to call another person to fix it.
I had to pay extra.
Really not good company to go for.

Whilst researching door companies I used the online Birkdale quotation tool which sent me a quote quickly. As this just beat the Hormann quote I had I progressed the Birkdale order.
When the salesman turned up to measure the aperture and take my order he told me that the website quote tool was malfunctioning and giving low quotes! The actual cost would be higher!
I thanked him very much and asked him to leave As I would be progressing an order with Hormann as they would now be cheaper. This prompted a call to ‘head office’ who decided to stick by the quote.
So I placed the order, choosing to go with a RAL special door colour.
50% payment was raised and my order
Was manufactured very quickly being ready to install about 4 weeks later.
On install day the team turned up on time and fitted the door.
One of the fitters chose to smoke fairly continuously inside and outside of my garage, a little impolite.
Unfortunately the motor supplied with the door was not powerful enough to raise the door so the team left promising to return as soon as the more powerful motor was available. 3 or 4 weeks later the motor was
available and the team returned.
This time the manual lever was not brought so another visit will be needed.
Door is now operational and works well and looks good, apart from the RAL colour match no being a good match to our other products. After comparing to the RAL swatch pack you can see it is not a good colour match so be prepared for that if you choose to colour match.
My dealer experience wAs very good, being helpful with good communication.

I have just had a new roller shutter garage door fitted buy Birkdale
We bought it though Costco and we’re very happy with the service from start to finish
Chris came round to measure up two days after contacting Birkdale he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the product and advised us well.
The fitters Glenn and Billy were very punctual, professional and very respectful of my property.
We did have one small problem as there was a dent in the internal cover this did not affect the operation of the door, this was quickly resolved by fitting a new cover one week later.
We were kept informed by the office staff when the new cover would be fitted and the job was completed yesterday

All deadlines and timespans were met as stated despite xmas break.

Our garage was quickly (but accurately) measured and our options noted, then within 3 weeks our new roller garage door was fitted. Fantastic communication throughout with a phonecall the day before informing us of our position in the ‘queue’ on fitting day. Great product that looks fabulous. Have recommended to friends.

I must say from start to finish everything about this company was top notch professional. What really impressed me was the time scale from surveying my garage to actually fitting my New Grey electric roller doors. I expected to have to wait until 2022 for this to happen. But no 2 weeks from placing order to arriving and fitting. My garage is already warmer and looks better. Technicians that fitted can't remember there names sorry guys were quick and professional and left no mess. So thank you very much Birkdale.

I had an excellent experience with Birkdale from beginning to end. The surveyor and fitters were friendly and professional throughout the process. Though the lead time may vary, I managed to place my order, have it measured and fitted within 3 weeks. The garage door is of high quality and a significant improvement from my previous roller door. The customer service team are also very responsive and will happily guide you through any questions or complications. Highly recommended!

Sectional Garage Door ordered through costco.

Very happy with the end result. Richard, the installer that Birkdale contracted out the installation of the garage door to, was great. The installers worked through the entire day to install two sectional garage doors for me. Great workmanship, tidy, considerate and walk me through everything. The surveyor told me I needed to install a socket and move a ceiling pendant, but wasn't specific. It would have been good for the surveyor to leave detail requirement so I didn't need to chase Birkdale for details. Luckily on the day the installer were able to move socket and ceiling pendant again.

The garage door itself is well construct. Costco details are a bit light, it would have been nice to know it worked with WiFi beforehand.

The garage doors operator (Prodrive) works with Tuya smart life app, so you can link it out with Alexa, Google, SmartThings and IFTTT.

Ordering was so simple on line. The crew turned up at the prearranged time and completed the installation in a professional manner. Any questions that I asked were answered. The site was left clean and tidy.

Excellent product, my sectional garage door is great quality and looks great. The guys from EZI DOOR who fitted it were first class, they were punctual polite and very professional. The only fly in the ointment was that communication with Birkdale proved difficult on occasion but was always sorted out somehow.

Great service, easy booking by telephone to arrange a visit to service our twelve year old door that had decided to stop working. The engineers arrived at the stated time and replaced and set up a new control box without any fuss, made no mess and cleared away all the old bits.
Would definitely recommend.

Ordered garage door on 17th September but due to a discrepancy in the measurement of our garage height, which was picked up by the fitters on the first fitting date 4 weeks later, the door had to be remade. On the 22nd of November the door was finally fitted by Blaine and Hayden who were very professional in there work and went the extra mile considering the low height of the garage roof, they did a brilliant job, explained everything and left everywhere clean and tidy, a real credit to Birkdale. All in all it was well worth the wait as the door not only works great but looks amazing too.

Pleased we took the advice offered by Rob the surveyor, who explained and guided us through the process. The backroom staff were excellent and patient with us , due to delays with our builder (broken wrist) caused the wait to remove centre pillar of garage, so we could have 1 x large roller door instead of two smaller up and overs.Ryan and Paul the fitters were superb, did a cracking job,faultless. They rang me to state they would be earlier than the appointed time , which was brilliant .Really great lads who you could have a laugh/banter with.Cannot recommend the company highly enough.If anyone unsure, they would be very welcome to view our completed garage door.

Full credit to Hayden & Blaine who arrived at 5.15pm (already dark and cold) and had to haul the door manually as the van could not get up our drive. They were done by 7.30pm and the installation is faultless.

The guys turned up very quickly as promised. They quickly diagnosed the bearing failure on the wire pulley and replaced it.

They then gave the door a full service and it is back to working perfectly.
