Rob at Birkdale gave excellent service in helping me find an extra remote opener for my garage door.

Sectional door fitted yesterday. Efficient survey. Good communication from the company. Fitted as planned. Great fitters who did a neat job and left the place clean and tidy, including taking away the old door and frame. Lovely sturdy door.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Initial enquiry in March, installation in mid April. Pleasant and competent staff from start to finish. Superb looking garage door installed by two great blokes.

Very disappointed with communication, product and problem solving after sales. We ordered a Birkdale Awning including installation in March 2021 through Costco and believed we were dealing with a trusted company. We checked our gap measurements over the phone and by email with a representative from Birkdale and sent photos of the proposed site after which the awning was duly ordered with no advice to adjust the measurement to allow for it to actually fit correctly. When the awning arrived on 1st July, the fitters asked whether a survey had been carried out as the awning was going to be a difficult installation. They came up with a solution and fitted the awning much higher than they would normally and angled it, asked us to sign for the job then left. It was quickly realised during the following days that it had been fitted too high for the afternoon sun and when the wind blew it bounced off our extension roof and damaged a ridge tile. After months of complaints that it was now not fit for the purpose we ordered and that we’d established it was even longer than the measurement of the gap we gave them in the first instance they have stuck to the version that we signed the job completion form so it’s not their problem. A very unfair interpretation that a customer is happy even though actual use of the product begins after they leave and can’t be predicted in the short time of fitting. Also the awning is up on the wall and the fitters are waiting for you to sign the paperwork. This was an expensive bespoke product that is longer than the original gap measurement. We still don’t have a resolution after 9 months and they have never once visited the site other than Ezi Dor to install. Very disappointed with Birkdale and Ezi Dor fitters for not trying to help us achieve a satisfactory outcome considering the bespoke product is longer than the given gap measurement. Disappointed with Costco for not doing enough to tackle Birkdale over the issue. I would not recommend this company to anybody. Funnily enough Costco no longer sell Birkdale Awnings!
Thank you for replying to my review however I’m unaware of any resolution to our problem with the product and the after sales service at the moment from either Birkdale or Costco.

Great door and installation, but customer service poor. Install booked for second install of day, mid morning, but fitters didn`t turn up until after 4, and finished just before 7pm. On arrival fitters said then were running late from day before. I should have receive a call, stating expected time, with the option to re-schedule

Two very professional guys did an amazing job fitting me an electric garage door. It isn't often you get bespoke service like this anymore. They did a quick job and very tidy, so tidy that when they left one wouldn't have known they had been there. The finished job is superb and far exceeded my expectations. Thank you Birkdale.

The customer service, the installation and Birkdale's Professional 78 roller door are a credit to the owners of the company. Very pleased and certainly would recommend to any prospective buyer.

Good quality door and customer support.
The door was installed and working well. The only thing I find odd is that the 'down' button opens the door fully, before closing. You can override this however. Maybe newer models act differently.
After a few years the door stopped working with control box flashing warnings. However, the guys on customer support eventually helped me track this down to a simple change of batteries on the door.

Brilliant service from office staff, site surveyor and tradesman that completed the work.

Communication from the surveyor was brilliant, he even accommodated a site visit 07:30 out of usual office hrs to accommodate which I thought was a nice touch, very helpful, professional and took all requirements on board.

The completed product not that I had doubs but was even better then I had envisioned. I was apprehensive about having a security roller shutter door because I felt it would ruin the look the shop front. Very happy to say I was worried over nothing as it actually compliments the shop front and was colour coded to blend in.

Great quality product. The service was exceptional.In particular a shout out to the installers Blaine and Hayden. Their attention to detail was amazing resulting in a flawless job despite a tricky stone archway. I suggest your company clone these guys and send them everywhere on your behalf.

We had two electric garage door openers fitted to existing garage doors - from the survey to office admin and the lads who fitted then - they were all excellent, polite and helpful. The fitters did a great job, they were punctual knew what they were doing and left the garage neat and tidy after they finished. Highly recommended.

If you want a great job done with no hassle use BIRKDALE. From the girls that answer the phone to the surveyor and finally the installers. An excellent experience from start to finish. My review is genuine, I highly recommend this company.

The lads arrived when expected, worked really hard without a break and the installed garage door was everything we had hoped for. Superb job done politely and professionally. Communications prior to the fitting were exceptional and we were kept in the loop throughout. Well done Birkdale. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Roller garage door just stopped working! Ryan and his colleague attended within a few days ! unfortunately motor had gone so they replaced it straight away and also put a new manual handle on and replaced the cover which they didn’t need to do ! Good lads and spot on service ! Excellent

We purchased an electric black roller shutter garage door through Costco which was fitted by Birkdale. However, shortly after installation a small amount of paint began to flake off the panels. Birkdale were contacted and replaced all damaged panels. The company have friendly staff, from the gentleman who came to measure the garage, the guys who fitted the door, the telesales team and email contact (who expedited replacement of the panels). Would recommend to anyone looking for a garage door.

We bought a double width roller garage door through Costco which was fitted by Hipwoods Garage Doors Ltd.

We're very pleased with the experience: the fitting was carried out quickly and efficiently, and (so far) the door works perfectly, exactly as advertised.
