I bought a sectional garage door some years back; it was installed brilliantly. Anyway, just recently, the garage remote started to fail - wear and tear of the buttons. Birkdale were super, advising on the potential of recoding to another button and also offering the service of a new remote. Following delivery, they continued their excellent customer service.

I had a poor customer experience, but I’m very happy with my new garage door and the quality of the fitting. The companies communication needs work, the full payment in advance requirement left me feeling powerless, the appt timekeeping was poor, but I had a genuine apology from the owner who seems like a genuinely decent person and that is rare these days. I also have an excellent door with quality components. On balance, I’m happy I chose Birkdale.

Really happy with this company and the up and over garage door I purchased from them. Ryan and Sol arrived to fit it today. They were both friendly and very efficient. I am delighted with my new garage door.

We purchased a roller door In September 2018 and had nothing but trouble. The garage door is used once maybe twice weekly which is classed as light usage. We have had trouble with the locking straps from the word go. Just about to purchase replacements for the third time. Very bad design.

Right from the quote stage through to the installation, this company has impressed me.
I found them on Google, they responded straight away with a competitive quote and were really helpful with sharing real colour samples, flexible on dates and great payment options.
The installation guys, Sol and Ryan, called an hour before they arrived, were polite and conversational, really neat and tidy with their work and super professional.
I wish more companies were like this, I would not hesitate to recommend.
And yes, this is a real review, by a customer that paid real money. This company is great!

Cannot praise Roberto at Birkdale Doors highly enough. Needed to get in garage after power outage to switch power back on - of course, this happened on a bank holiday evening. Rang number and received text message back within minutes, guided us through how to open door manually. Very patiently messaged back and forth with clear instructions and then advised further testing to ensure all ok. This prompt response has saved 3 freezers of food being wasted and being without electricity over the bank holiday. Such kindness, super swift service. Highly recommended.

I wanted to replace the door on the garage with one that had windows and was well insulated, as we were going to turn it into a utility room.
I had a lot of quotes but the price and high quality of communication from Birkdale made it easily the best choice.
There were a few issues when first fitted but due to the professionalism of the company, who stated that they wanted me to have a door I could be proud of, the engineers came back and resolved the issues to a high standard.
I am extremely happy with the quality of the door, the service I was given and communication with Birkdale throughout the process.

I needed a new FOB for my garage door which is quite old.
After numerous replacement's, which didn't work, Simon at Birkdale managed to suss it out.
Two new FOBs were supplied, Simon talked me through the pairing operation, and hey presto they are operational.
So well done to Birkdale (Simon) for sorting me out.

I had a budget and I wanted to get the best possible product within that budget. No one else but Birkdale were willing to at least try to meet those requirements, all of the others were basically take it or leave it.

The customer service was first rate, the right amount of contact with updates on progress.

The Alex and Chris fitting team turned up on time, were friendly, respectful, paid attention to detail and cracked on with the job without any sense of a need to rush it. They explained everything after the fit and cleared up what little mess there was and removed it.

Contacted customer services via email with a query regarding my garage door which wasn’t closing properly (it is several years old). Had a reply within 10 mins followed by an electronic manual and video explaining how to adjust the sensitivity. Door now works perfectly and I’m a very happy person. Fantastic service something other companies could learn from. Thank you.
