having been introduced to Bird brand via a friend and subsequently Dan H the design engineer I was instantly very welcomed.
I took 2 bikes on demo rides from Bird's Eversley HQ and that was very efficient and smooth and no pressure at all. Dan was interested to hear our feedback after the ride.
one week later I went to the HQ and ordered my AM9 in person and again Dan guided me to the best specs for my kind of riding.
I was quoted 3 weeks lead time and the bike arrived in less than that!
I opted to have the bike fully built up by Bird and took it on the same day to Swinley forest and hit trails. Everything worked as it should and not even the gear cable needed re adjusting...
I have now already covered over 100k and this bike is the best I have ridden by a long way...

Bird were helpful in the ordering process. Courier lost my delivery for 3 days so wasnt an over night. Bike arrived with the chain ring damaged due to poor packaging. Bird sent out a replacement the next day so cant fault them for that. I will have to fit this myself though as im not close to the shop. Its a shame my experience was tarnished by the courier used. Could be a one off as courier gets reasonable reviews

I was aware that Bird had a good reputation for customer service - but this surpassed expectations.

There was excellent advice on Cycle to work, technical queries were dealt with very well and response times were genuinely very fast.

The frame is excellent and I am very happy with the purchase, but the experience of the company was superb as well.

I'd buy again.

Buying a bike from Bird is a no brainer. Their bikes have bang up to date geometry, they are great value, and built for riding in the UK.

Being able to spec decent components is extremely cost effective, instead of the cheap headsets, hubs, bottom brackets, etc you'd get and inevitably have to replace with other mail order bike companies. You get to put together the spec you want thanks to their awesome bike configuration on their website.

Their customer service is excellent, I had a really good chat with the guys there who were able to suggest the right size and mix of components. I had a few other questions I emailed over and they got back to me in a timely manner.

One thing that has always annoyed me is bike sizing, if you are between sizes you have to make a hard decision over manoeuvrability and stability, but if you are happen to around 5'8-5'10, the bird ML size is perfect.

So, in summary; great value, awesome + fun bikes designed and built in the UK, top notch customer service, plenty of places to demo, pick exactly what you want! What is not to like?!... Would happily recommend. I really love my bike.

[edit] I should add that I bought my bike during the COVID19 pandemic, it added a small delay to the order but was actually right on the estimated time when I spoke to their staff, they are doing a great job during these tricky times[/edit]

Arrived quickly and were correct fitment as described. Good quality, would use again.

Ordered a zero 29 frame, it was overnight shipped and I had it built by 2pm the next day! Can't get better service than that!

Recently bought a Zero AM and I imagine I was a painful customer, asking lots of questions throughout the process. These guys were extremely helpful throughout. From helping spec the bike to my needs, keeping me updated with build and delivery timescales and even helping with a tyre issue (not their fault) afterwards. I even received the bike a week before the anticipated delivery time!

The service here is second to none. Wether you're an accomplished rider or a complete novice like myself, they are knowledgeable, helpful and very quick to respond to you either in the phone or via email. The quality of the bikes is excellent, the Zero inspires confidence on trails and had me hitting jumps on day one even after having not ridden a bike for 5 years.

Excellent customer support and great bikes! Very good bike handling, fast on uphill and downhill (Aeris AM9). Great choice for very strong trails an medium - strong enduro.
