Purchased a Bird Aether 9C (probably one of the first shipped to the USA) and I absolutely love the bike. the build is fantastic and the bike is an all-out ripper! In fact, I love it so much, I just ordered an Aether 9 in aluminum. Took delivery of my Aeris AM9 in December and my only complaint is that the weather has been dreadful since!
The bike is unbelievably good and supremely capable but the thing that surprised me the most was how well it climbs. Hands down the best climbing bike I've ever ridden. I expected the AM9 to be good on the descents and I've not been disappointed. Just need the Covid situation and the weather to improve and I can go out and ride more.
In terms of customer service, Bird cannot be faulted. Ben was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable and guided me through the whole decision making process and he's been spot on about sizing (I'm 6ft and on a L) and the componentry choices. Having placed my order when parts were in short supply (thanks to Covid), I got regular updates on progress and was able to change my choices to suit.

Bought an AM9 back in March 2020. Prior to this I was riding a 2019 Kona Process 153 and a 2019 Whyte T130; both great bikes. The AM9 was my first 29er (I am 5'8" or 172cm), and I went with a Medium.
The AM9 is fantastic. It is everything that Bird said it would be; poppy, lively, FUN. I change bikes fairly regularly, as I like to try different bikes, but I will be sticking with the AM9 for a while.
The icing on the cake is the raw finish and being able to select your own components, making the bike great value for money.
The second layer of icing on the cake is the great customer service.

Bought a Bird Aeris AM 160. It was bought during covid so as expected the delivery will be a little slower etc. When I received the bike I had a few problems, air in brakes, kinked gear cables, and the gears weren’t cycling properly out of the box. Rang bird up and they said take it to my local bike shop to get it sorted. Did that then bird refunded me fully for the money I spent on the bike to get it back like new. Bike I’m general though rides fantastic.

My short overview would be:
Great customer service
Needs to have extra attention to detail when sending out the bikes to make sure there in tip top ready for the customer.
Would recommend bird changing the colours on there frames as there not the best design. A little weird looking in my opinion. Orange and blue? Regret getting that colour frame now. Shame I can’t change it.

The AM9 is hands down the best bike I have ever owned. The warranty on a new bird is also second to none. In addition Bird have simply the best customer service I have ever experienced; patient and understanding-I doubt you’ll find that from any other direct to consumer brand in the world.

I've had my bike(aeris1450 for a few months and it's great as expressed in a previous review I wrote. this is about my 160 linkage kit. Once ordered it arrived promptly and well packaged however, upon trying to fit it it became apparent that the axle thread was not cut properly. After sending some photos and a description to bird for the warranty it was sorted very quickly and I collected the linkage from Eversley HQ. This time it fit with ease and has made a noticeable difference to how the bike performs.

When my current bike failed I needed a quick repalecement. I was looking at AM9 for a while so contacted them and had a new bike within days. Great customer service. Since then I took a bike through South Downs Way and a full day in Bike Park Wales hitting the trails hard. Bike is fantastic and never missed a beat. Highly recommended.

My Aether 7 is absolutely perfect. I was able to build my dream bike. They are happy to answer any questions and the response time is brilliant. The bike absolutely flies. I would recommend Bird to anyone that's after a serious bike without hesitation. An absolute gem of a company, so happy I found them.

I've owned an AM9 for a year now. Firstly the bike is excellent. Modern geometry, excellent value and it has proven to be incredibly reliable. Secondly, the customer service is awesome. Fast, responsive and very helpful. You can't go wrong with Bird!

Got my Aeris 145 and it is such an amazing bike. Truly remarkable geometry makes this bike a trail slayer!

Bike came set up tubeless, and when items in my basket were unavailable I was offered a free upgrade to higher spec components. The Zero 29 is a really good ride.

- excellent guidance-service before order per mail (size, geometry, parts etc...)
- initial difficulties concerning payment (credit-card from GER was firstly not accepted) have been solved first per phone, then per mail, within 1 hour
- clear update per mail from moment of order and receiving the bike (steady update which status your bike-build has)
- in general delivery time from online-order to receipt 3 weeks (sending to germany) is absolute OK
- packing from safety-point-of-view also good
- very good pre-assembling: no adjustment i.e. on the shifting necessary

The Bird is the Word. AM 160 frame arrived as promised well-packaged and in pristine condition. The selected headset was out of stock (likely associated with the COVID-19 pandemic), but support contacted me to sort it out early to make sure I wasn't needlessly waiting. First ride on the new build was a dream - the slack geometry of the frame kept me stable on punchy NE uphills and confident on the chunky descents. The frame, headset, seat clamp, and shock all feel bombproof, and I'm expecting they will last a good long while. Can't wait for the next ride.

I can't rate this team highly enough. Given the demand for bikes throughout this pandemic, all communications, workmanship and delivery was first class and beyond for my order.

I couldn't be happier with the Zero AM stealth. It's light, robust and one mean looking bike.
