Barna Recycling Omdömen 

We are with them less than 6 months & 3 times already they haven’t collected our waste. Rang them & they said they didn’t know why our bins were not collected. Bins left out on the sides of roads for days filled with rubbish.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by Barna Waste. I have been trying to contact them regarding an issue with my order, but there has been no response. I recently moved to a different area and closed my account with Barna Waste. Despite this, they sent me a bill for the next six months, claiming they never received any account closure request. I have already spent over an hour and a half on the phone trying to resolve this issue, but unfortunately, the matter is still not resolved. The lack of communication and support is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Bills going up again twice in a calendar year . No Brown bin Provided despite legislation a year ago saying we were to be provided with them.
No competition

I changed to earlier this year to Barna as my monthly bill with their competitor had gradually gone up and up.
Barna is over €120 cheaper per year.
What’s not to like about saving money.
I have waited over 6 months to review Barna.
Here’s how it’s going.
Delighted with Barna Recycling.I really like is that I only need to put my bins out every 2 weeks.
That makes life very simple.
No wondering which bins are going out this week.
Just put the 3 bins out every 2 weeks.
So i save money and effort by being a Barna Recycling customer.

Totally incompetent and unprofessional, left half my rubbish behind and I informed them it’s blowing across the road and that I had paid fully for their service there was no issue with my account. Was informed that I should buy plastic bags to put cardboard into for recycling and they are supposed to be a recycling company! Also Told me I should ask their permission in advance if I am going to have an extra cardboard box along side my regular bins. I explained I am paying for this service to collect my rubbish and they are not doing this. Person in office kept speaking over me. Totally incompetent staff so rude on phone and would not let me to speak to manager/person in charge.

Bins were rarely collected in Sligo… I rang to cancel my bins as I no longer live there. The lady on the phone was rude and blunt. She made me feel like a complete inconvenience. I hope they put a lot more work into their customer service. 24/07/23

Their trucks are driven by eastern european thugs who threaten drivers. On a number of occasions in my area they frequently drive the wrong way along one-way streets and along footpaths, shouting abuse at anyone who gets in the way. They even sought permission from the Garda to do so. And that's even before we get to their corrupt directors and management.

Investigation needed, absolutely no respect.. arrogant lies lies lies, why did I have to give them one star? A company that previously went bust owing revenue big time etc,etc. why did mayo county council hand out a huge lucrative contract to this company and in so going washed their hands of any responsibility towards rural communities in Mayo, for waste collection? If you are the only household needing a collection, off the main road, forget it ..it’s all about money..

I am a barna waste customer. I set up the account for my mother who is in her 70's. She was getting really stressed that the charges were higher than the service fee. I hadn't read the welcome pack myself. It stated that there is a by kg charge on top of this. I called customer service today to query the billing. I spoke to a lady called Sheena. She was really curt and unhelpful and just kept stating that we did not read the pack as it was really clear. Not friendly or polite at all. I'm glad I didn't let my mother call up. It would have really upset her. Not a good experience. Very disappointed.

I've had my bins collected by Barna for over 14 years, recently I needed to have one of the bins repaired (Wheel Broken) when I contact the office by phone, they said it could take up to 7 days. I had it repaired the next day. The person I spoke to on the phone was very courteous and professional.

The worst customer service ever!! There were two bottles on top in my recycle bin and they left me a note and didn’t take my bin. I rang them but the agent refused to listen to the customer. I feel they should have picked out the bottles, emptied the bin , put back the bottles with the note so I would know for next time, that would have been a win on both sides but no, I’ll have to wait another two weeks for my bin to be collected, they just lost a customer due to a bad decision and arrogance.

Appalling, do not use them unless you have to. 4 months ago before moving into house I asked whether they did bin collections. I have been in situation before with house with no bin collections and wanted to avoid. They had address and Eircode and said they did. Since then I have been paying them but often travelling and noticed when I did put out bin it was not being emptied, but was not around much. They did not turn up 2 weeks ago and did not turn up this week, so I called them. I was told bluntly they do not do my area - despite having it all confirmed with them months ago. They were 'kind enough' to allow me to leave rubbish in the bins when they collect them rather than insisting on them being empty. Today I call as rubbish still has not been picked up to say it will be 10 working days. This is outrageous!! I have bins full of rubbish and it is unhygienic, and causing problems in the wind. Would never try and use them again.

Nothing but missed collections and lies from both managers and drivers. Only with them since July but with 2 missed collections and being accused of not putting our bins out along with attempting to blame us for their mistake. Sick of this company.
