Barna Recycling Omdömen 

I have been a customer of Barna for 15 years now. Never had a problem. 10/10 for value, customer service, cleanliness and efficiency.

Came on here to see how good Barna were before I sign up ... Ooops won't be doing that .. not on the reviews on here ... What a shambles of a company .. no proper oversight .. surely Sligo Coco should be aware of this company ?? .. I'll be looking elsewhere

Their driver behaves as if he has no common sense at all. He tore through our lawns in the estate, running over corners, destroying grass and damaging curbs. This already happened two weeks ago, and then again last Monday. I reported it to Barna, and they clearly don’t care. No apology, no cleanup, no effort to fix the damage. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible.

First,do have time on your hands to talk to any agents. After 3 days trying to contact them, I finally decided to wait my turn, just about 20 mins waiting. They change days of collections as they please, they raise the fees as they please and I would think that they charge you as they please. Being by myself, recycling and composting, I should have pretty much the same amount to pay monthly. Not the case! I close my account at the beginning of December, and I have been charge for December because I didn’t pay €15 outstanding. The reason, no one told me that the € 15 couldn’t be paid by direct debit ! Why oh why? definitely go somewhere else, and I will recommend to pay a fix rate monthly.

Been with them for a few years now, app is simple and your weights are there visible pretty quickly after collections.
Seems a few of the negative reviews on here are for simple things and over reactions, others may be warranted but we have never had an issue out in the country.
Guys are polite, all bins emptied on time, maybe later some days but doesn't matter as long as collected as per calendar. Used their skip hire also with no issues and fast delivery, pick up was a day later but they notified me and it worked out better anyway.
Whenever I use the Civic amenities site on the Corraghline they're polite and helpful.

Really incompetent Customer Service, full of excuses and will not come to the table for a resolution. I'll be escalating my complaint to Leitrim Co. Co. Environmental department, as there is no alternative waste collection service for the area and Barna recycling should have their licence revoked based on the amount of negative reviews here. One of the few Companies that don't respond on here, so they clearly couldn't give a damn having the monopoly on waste unmanagement.

The staff no customer services no manners management lie one of The worst companies in Ireland would not attempt to ever use there service again unreliable should have there waste licence pulled stay well clear

Totally unreliable service. Bins are not picked up regularly on their designated days so bins are just left on roadside for days on end until eventually a bin lorry comes which is usually days after the initial pick up day. Avoid if you can.

, right beside the waste bin which was. When I questioned why it wasn’t collected, I got a ridiculous answer. My bin was “ “contaminated”. What exactly does that mean? No explanation … yet. A week later.

Barna isn’t the only game in town, Will seriously look into ending this relationship.

1 star is too good for this company. Another missed collection. Bins left in the same position, same place for 3 years. They make excuses, but never apologies. Avoid at all costs.

I top up 3 day before the collection and they didn't collect my bin and call them they told me the account was still on hold with the people who collected the bin then told me they will collect it asp and it's been 1 week still no collection send them massage still the same story the worse company they should improve there systems and more

Skip Hire. Waited nearly 1 month for the skip to be collected. Driver dropped it in a very akward place initially, then refused to collect it this morning due to being overloaded. Didn't even knock on my door, just left and called his office. Poor performance!! Now I have to take rubbish off, store it in my garden and get an alternative company to collect......It won't be Barna!!

Apparently, they recognize my email address, but I can’t even get the Collection calendar without my account number which I do not have. I have never seen any company with worse reviews than Barna Recycling. All I want to know is when you’re picking up the bloody trash. I’m a pay bag customer. There should be a way to purchase barcoded labels to put on my own bag for the same price as buying their bags. Apparently a terribly run company.

I begrudgingly give these spoofers one star. Pity there wasn't an option for no stars. After six long years of outrageously poor customer service and regular missed bin collections, a most recent sickening exchange with their young untrained, phone team has been the straw that broke the camel's back. When I rang to report a missed bin collection, their agent was argumentative, obnoxious, unapologetic and hang up on me. There is no oversight whatsoever for their staff. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that their wasn't any. I immediately left Barna and signed with a competetor for €70 cheaper per year, I might add. Any company who treats a customer with contempt and disregard, should be put out of business. I wouldn't put their staff to buttering a slice of bread, let alone handling paying customers!

BIN NOT EMPTIED NO RESPONSE FROM 2 EMAIL,WILL STOP PAYMENT

It a shame to give them even one star customer service is none existent.. and they seem to collect waste whenever they feel like if ever, have waste sitting outside my house for nearly 5 days. Makes a eye sore and there is no response from customer service sad excuse of a waste company I never write reviews just so people can avoid this "trash company" pun intended Id rather walk my waste to the nearest dump then give them another cent of my money. Absolute joke..

Absolutely appalling! One star is too many!

Awful! Won't pick up your bins unless fully on the footpath, even if they're in reaching distance! Sometimes they don't even pick them up when fully of the path. I suppose they collect whenever they feel like it. Will never use ye again. I've asked them TWICE now to remove their bins and 2 weeks later they're still sitting on the footpath outside the house. Wasters!

Barna waste only gets a star because I couldn't write this review without giving them credit they don't deserve!

Barna missed a collections and when contacted to arrange collection numerous times Iv been lied to at every engagement!
Missed collection on Friday 22nd

Contacted Barna waste on Monday 25th Novemebrr to see if we could arrange collection, was told I'd get a call back the following morning (26th November)

I never recieved this call. I then waited till Thursday 28th November to see if they will contact back.. I ended up calling again where I was told that they needed to see if it was viable to get the bins collected.... (this should've been done by Tuesday 26th)

I then got a call later that day saying the bins would be collected on Friday the 29th....

Low and behold! No bin collection once again! Now the compost bin has also missed a collection!

Contacted on Monday 2nd of December again to be told they will be collecting on Tuesday the 3rd.
The supervisor in the call center said I would recieve an update on if the bin collection is going ahead.... haven't heard anything!

Dont use!!!!! Lie to customers and have the worst customer service iv ever experienced!

Made formal complaint to which I was told the escalation path is that it's passed to upper management and they decide if the complaint gets looked into or not. Absolute joke! No accountability at all!

I'm with them 5yrs maybe longer, they come as per calendar, no problem with the Galway city service. I pay online between 25-40 prM. I often have arrears and they still take the bins. I often forget about paying them. Once or twice they didn't take the bins when I was over 20euro in arrears. I always found the receptionist lovely, so I don't understand the bad reviews, I can't complain in Galway city, always on time NY 7am every second week.
