Incredibly slow progress

Incredibly slow progress. Items seem to disappear from tracking. Cannot track items in the system. This is the second poor performance in which a parcel took a month to come from the USA to England and for the most part un-trackable. Very poor service. If i could it would be minus stars.

They don't even deserve one star, lost my dream vintage designer bag purchase

They don't even deserve one star. I bought my dream vintage Miu Miu bag on Vestiaire Co with added Miu Miu embroidered patches that cannot be found anywhere on the internet and it was truly my dream bag. I waited anxiously for weeks with no update and had to file a missing/delayed package case with Vestiaire Co. They finally let me know a month after my purchase that Ascendia lost my package and I am devastated. I would bet anything that they stole my package too since it was a one-of-a -kind designer bag purchase. I will never purchase from any business that uses this horrible scam of a company ever again. I've never had a package lost by the carrier in my life and it had to be with an incredibly expensive dream designer bag purchase due to this company's negligence. Thanks for absolutely nothing and for the added stress and headache for the last month just to lead to disappointment.

DO NOT use at all costs

If a retailor or manufacturer is using this company to facilitate delivery, DO NOT make the purchase, you will NOT receive the items you order. I was expecting a delivery from a reputable online retailor and suddenly I received an email notice that the "delivery failed". No delivery attempt was made. For health reasons I do not leave my home and the security system in my building records if my buzzer code has been entered and we have video in the lobby to confirm. I contacted Asendia and their response was they take no responsibility for delivery of packages in their care. In other words they are free to steal, throw out, sell or do whatever they wish with the items. Any issues have to be addressed through the vendor you purchased from. I fail to see how it is the vendors fault/problem other than choosing to use a very disreputable delivery service.

Avoid Asendia if possible

Oh boy where do I begin...so ordered a collector's item on eBay that ended up being almost twice as expensive due to the combined amount of shipping+VAT+customs, so I figured it would at least be shipped somewhat fast within 2 weeks (international order) well that was not the case. The item was stuck in transit for almost three weeks before swiftly being handled and shipped by the domestic postal service here for a total of almost a month and this is not even close to how long it has taken for other customers online.
As if that wasn't enough the "customer service" is so bad I feel it's practically non-existent. I kindly asked them reasonable questions like where is my parcel and what does this tracking info mean? My replies mostly consisted of the same copy-paste/AI messages (kind of like how they reply to reviews here) that had nothing to do with my questions. Having a customer service department with actual people is completely useless if they won't bother reading and addressing specific questions. Just provide more frequent updates at least. It's 2026 and it feels like a huge step back. What kind of system keeps the parcel for weeks without any update? UPS, USPS, FedEx and DHL are lightning fast in comparison from my experience, quickly delivering the item from A to B like it should be and like it's been for the past decades. Furthermore they keep you updated with more steps from my experience.
On top of this my item had been opened (likely in customs) but thankfully it was still as described. Buyers wanting factory sealed items beware!
If you order an item online and Asendia is the carrier, do not expect your item to arrive fast (birthday's, holidays etc)

+ There's "tracking" and item gets shipped...
- ....but it takes way longer than other carrier options
- Very little tracking information
- Underwhelming customer support
- Expensive in my opinion despite apparently being a "low cost" alternative from what I understand.

Advice:
Educate your customer service agents. If they can't provide information then at least show some professionalism and empathy with the customer. Provide more frequent updates despite delays. More information is better than no information. Please be better in any ways you can. Thank you.

Ware bei ebay in USA gekauft 26 Tage Laufzeit

Ware bei ebay in USA gekauft. Wurde in einem Luftpolsterbrief verschickt. Kosten: 35 Dollar. Laufzeit in den USA bis zum Abflug = 13 Tage. Dann von der Schweiz nach Frankfurt. Dort zum Zoll. Zurück zur Schweiz. Dann mit DHL in Frankfurt zugestellt. Gesamtdauer des Transports vom 16.2. bis zum 13.3. Und so gut wie keine Info wo der Brief z.Zt. ist. Dieses Transportunternehmen ist eine Unverschämtheit sondergleichen.

The worst shipping company ever

The worst shipping company ever. If they will see this my name is Gloria Barnes and I am writing this review for Asendia company. Not afraid to. This is my second time going through this hell with this company. OMG, l am so frustrated right now. And this stupid ASOS Clothing Company are using this Asendia to ship our stuffs to Canada, why ? We are not getting our parcels. Is this a scam. My first parcel was never received all l know was this parcel is been returned back to the retailer which is ASOS.COM since January never received it , never got my REFUND either. ASOS Does not want to take any responsibility for this either. No communication whatsoever, t Asendia kept sending emails to pay for Duties and Taxes but they Don't really tell you where and how to pay Duties and Taxes to get your parcels but all you see is parcel is been held and returning to the retailer. This Sucks. You people sucks

ASENDIA DOESN'T CARE! Dont use them

Package was ordered on Feb 2nd and was supposed be delivered by March 3rd but was never delivered and tracking didn't update past "Package information received" on Feb 24th it is now March 8th the package tracking updated to "Received by Asendia" on March 6th nothing further yet, I do hope I will receive this package it was very important to me and there isn't anymore available to buy. I'm extremely disappointed. Edited ( Notice how Asendias replies are all exactly the same regardless of the situation at hand ) terrible service I would not recommend 50% of their packages do not arrive

Order "in transit" for 4+ weeks.

Have an order from ebay stuck with them for 5 weeks, its been "in transit" for 4 weeks and prior to that was "dispatched" for about a week.
Their customer service is unhelpful as they will regurgitate the same tracking information from their website.

Ridiculous.

Even more ridiculous is their AI reply to these reviews 😭😭😭

My package was delivered to Canada Post and asendia didn't even tell me there 2 days behind would not recommend and I got off easy some people are saying it's held for weeks with no updates

Package arrived.

So to start things off, i would like to say that this review is from a first time client of this company. i bought a perfume (Roja Burlington 1819) off of Makeup.ch and i am writing this review in English because its more useful than a Swissgerman review:

Honestly the shipping went well, there were Problems unrelated to the shipping though, like the company location in Schlieren not having a Valid Phone number which i personally deem very unprofessional. Also there were not enough Shipping Updates for my liking and they didn’t have any information of the status of the package after it was handed over to Post.ch which i found annoying because i had to go to asendia, copy the tracking number, paste it into Post.ch and then i found the whereabouts of my parcel. Not dealbreaking but seeing all the negative reviews i just think i had to mention it.
As for shipping time, they upheld their promise which i am very happy about after seeing all the reviews. But lets see maybe its just this one time it worked out.
Now lets go to the rating
-1 because i am a first time customer and considering my limited experience with this company, i cannot say that it will always work out.
-1 because of the lack of customer service and updates.
Hope this review helps and if i get something shipped by asendia again i will update this review.
Edit:
As i said it was not delayed. Just lack of information and availability of Customer support in Switzerland. But ay thanks for the reply asendia even if it might be automated.

Estafa

Pésima no, lo siguiente. 25 euros de llamada, que según me estaban sacando el paquete de aduanas y me tuvo alli una vida. Y a los dias me llega un correo de correos que dice que como no envie los documentos que ya me habían dicho al enviar la queja.( nunca me dijeron) y el paquete lo hechizo para atras. Después de gastar 25 euros de llamada solo es una estafa.

Horrible experiencia en seguimiento y paquetes

El 4 de enero de 2026 compré un artículo por eBay, no conocía a la empresa de nada, todo iba bien con actualizaciones casi todos los días hasta el 24 de enero donde "se supone" que lo han enviado, no he vuelto a saber nada más del paquete escribo al soporte y solo me ponen un mensaje genérico diciendo que sigue en tránsito... Hoy, 18 de febrero sigo sin saber nada del paquete no me dan ni soluciones ni información acerca de ello, me parece lamentable y espero que haya solución...

Couldnt fault

Was extremely worried after reading other reviews on Asendia but I ordered some trainers off Ebay from Canada and they came to the UK with no issues at all. Tracking updated accordingly and no damage during transportation! Maybe I have been one of the luckier ones
