Thank you Kate, and everyone at Freemantle in Titchfield, for being so wonderful both on the day of our mother’s funeral, but also in the weeks leading up to the funeral. To James, for answering my call when I really had no idea what would be involved following her death . Throughout, Freemantle helped my sister and I with the arrangements. Everything was done in a very kind, calm and pragmatic way. We really appreciated that Freemantle's were able to offer us suggestions of a florist; to do the printing of the Order of Service; to help with where to hold the wake and what to expect at both the church and the crematorium.

The service that Freemantle provided was so kind and professional that the whole experience has been one of collaboration and I would have no hesitation recommending them.

Living away from the area, we were able to complete all our requirements through Zoom meetings and email which was so helpful to us. From my first phone call to the completion of the funeral the staff at A H Freemantle gave outstanding service. They were professional and compassionate, taking time to listen to our requests and discuss the options. They made a difficult time easier and I knew I could trust them absolutely with the arrangements.

A H Freemantle were wonderful from the start of our conversation to after the burial service.
As a family church we were trying to organise a burial for one of our congregation who had suddenly passed away and had no family in the UK in a position to organise a funeral for him.
From the initial conversation, Clair was understanding and explained what they could do in terms of a service. Her expertise and advice always considered our needs and wants. She showed great compassion throughout. On the day of the burial the team from A H Freemantle acted with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had a grave side service, and they provided a gazebo and chairs for this at the grave side. This was really appreciated and made the service feel more formal and respectful. Thank you so much to everyone involved at A H Freemantle, we couldn't have asked for more.

I've been in need of the services of A H Freemantle twice in a year having lost both my mother and father.

Honestly I couldn't recommend them enough, at such a challenging time they really did do everything to make it as bearable as possible.

I can not recommend James and the team enough, they were truly incredible from start to finish.

James and the team at A H Freemantle did the most fantastic job for us when my brother died suddenly and unexpectedly. They were very clear about the things I had to make a decision on - not there and then but in my own time - but they also completely took over and seamlessly managed all those other things that have to be booked and paid for. They also gave me great advice about how to handle the things I needed to handle. They contributed hugely to giving my brother the send off that he deserved and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend A H Freemantle to anyone else when that time comes and you need a funeral director.

All staff are professional but warm, sympathetic & friendly. I felt I could be myself & be honest & received much needed advice & patience; I was always given time to think over my decisions, I never felt rushed or pressed. I was given the perfect celebrant for us which made me feel that my undertaker Jane really listened & can read personalities & family dynamics! The funeral itself was the best I could hope for, was exactly as I think my mother would have wanted & all our guests said it was a sad (obviously) but positive & warm experience. Not a criticism as I should have been more forthright but money is an issue for me, my mother made no provision for her funeral & I alluded to this. I wish I had been given more practical advice & information on payment at the time of arrangement. Too blunt at a difficult time for some but I think it would have helped me. As I say my fault really, too embarrassed myself & as an only child having to deal with my mother’s illness & death my thoughts were going in so many different directions at 100mph. Just a thought that people could be given the opportunity to talk about payment, I’ve no doubt due to my experience that it could be put sensitively & professionally by Freemantle’s undertakers. Lastly I would highly recommend Freemantle’s & I thank them most sincerely.
