All staff are professional but warm, sympathetic & friendly. I felt I could be myself & be honest & received much needed advice & patience; I was always given time to think over my decisions, I never felt rushed or pressed. I was given the perfect celebrant for us which made me feel that my undertaker Jane really listened & can read personalities & family dynamics! The funeral itself was the best I could hope for, was exactly as I think my mother would have wanted & all our guests said it was a sad (obviously) but positive & warm experience. Not a criticism as I should have been more forthright but money is an issue for me, my mother made no provision for her funeral & I alluded to this. I wish I had been given more practical advice & information on payment at the time of arrangement. Too blunt at a difficult time for some but I think it would have helped me. As I say my fault really, too embarrassed myself & as an only child having to deal with my mother’s illness & death my thoughts were going in so many different directions at 100mph. Just a thought that people could be given the opportunity to talk about payment, I’ve no doubt due to my experience that it could be put sensitively & professionally by Freemantle’s undertakers. Lastly I would highly recommend Freemantle’s & I thank them most sincerely.
