I was looking for a special present .
I was looking for a present and this company provided the perfect gift, a look back on what was making the headlines on the day of my wife’s birth.
We have both enjoyed looking at who and what was relevant at the time.
It also provides some good questions and answers if you’re doing a quiz.
Would highly recommend this company.

Dear Jayne,
Thank you for your honest review, and we completely understand your frustration.
We want to reassure you that our support team did reply to every one of your emails. Unfortunately, we have since discovered that all of our responses to your Hotmail address were being blocked by your email provider due to a technical authentication issue on the email delivery side. This meant none of our replies ever reached your inbox, which we are truly sorry about. We only became aware of this when we found the bounce-back notifications in our spam folder.
Regarding your order, the additional pack was dispatched separately on 20th May via Royal Mail, and tracking confirms Royal Mail received it on 23rd May. It should be with you very soon if it hasn't arrived already.
Since email isn't getting through to you reliably, please feel free to contact us via Facebook message, or using another email address, and we will pick it up straight away.
We're sorry again for the experience. Your messages were never ignored, and we appreciate your patience.
Best regards,

Not worth the price!
I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing this lame product. Any child could create this using AI and linen parchment paper. Cheap and cheesy. Not worth the price!

Dear Donna,
Thank you for your honest feedback, and we're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your pack.
Each pack is fully personalised to the recipient and printed on quality materials, so we're sorry it didn't meet your expectations.
We do display every page on our website before purchase so customers can see exactly what's included, and the feedback we receive from the vast majority of our customers has been really positive.
That said, we never want to see an unhappy customer. We'd love to hear any specific thoughts you have on what could be improved - please do email us at support@adayinhistory.co.uk as we are constantly improving our products.
Best regards,

Dear Jeremy,
Thank you for providing your details via Trustpilot.
Having investigated the order, I can confirm both your order confirmation email and shipping confirmation email were successfully sent to the email provided.
Unfortunately, the parcel still shows as “in transit” with Royal Mail, which usually indicates it has been lost within their network. As standard shipping was selected, Royal Mail unfortunately do not provide us with further tracking updates beyond this point.
We completely understand your frustration, especially as the order was intended for a specific occasion which has now passed. Although the delay after dispatch was outside of our control, we do take responsibility for the overall experience and have therefore issued a full refund for the inconvenience caused.
We were also unable to find any direct emails from you regarding this order prior to the Trustpilot review. In future, please do contact our support team directly as we’re always happy to help resolve issues as quickly as possible.
We’re genuinely sorry this happened and, as a small business, it’s always disappointing to receive a 1-star review in situations where we did fulfil and dispatch the order, but appreciate your frustration nonetheless.
Best regards,
Dan

Dear David,
Thank you for your honest review. We're really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your pack.
Our packs are priced as low as we can go at £29.99 and each one is fully personalised to the recipient. We also display every page from the pack on our website before purchase, so customers can see exactly what's included before they order. We always want people to feel confident in what they're buying.
Your feedback doesn't reflect what we typically hear from the thousands of customers who have loved their packs, but we take every review seriously and we genuinely want to understand where we fell short for you.
We'd love it if you could email us at support@adayinhistory.co.uk with any specific thoughts on what you'd like to see improved. We're constantly evolving the product and never want to see an unhappy customer.

My first contact with A day in History started with a mistake because I misunderstood the order and contacted them right away. They couldn’t have been more helpful. What to buy for that person who has everything
Usual problem of what the heck can I get daughter for her birthday, having seen quite a few online ads, I thought I'd try this out.
Delivered pretty quickly after ordering and she loved it.
Not a huge amount of info to be honest, but what there was provided some laughs (annual salary in 1985 for one).Ideal for that extra gift when you're stuck to know what to buy. Well presented too.
