If I could rate zero I would, purely based on the lack of response from the retailer, XXCycle.com despite 4 separate emails trying to resolve my issue.

Great to find a retailer that stocked a Dura Ace 9070 rear derailleur. However disappointed when I was contacted directly by DHL holding my parcel until an additional charge of £99.04 GBP was made in import charges.

No where during the purchase on their website did it state I was liable for these charges, nor did it in any communications they sent post sale.
I'm sure you can imagine my shock and disappointment when DHL demanded this. Surely this should have been clearly mentioned during the website sale?

Again, the lack of contact has resulted in me leaving this review. I generally feel this could have been resolved should XXCycle replied to one of my many emails.

Steer clear and shop elsewhere.

Excellent service. I ordered a tyre and it was delivered from France to the UK within 24 hours, much quicker than advertised. Thank you.

I visited the XXcycle shop in Toulouse to make my purchase; delighted with the availability of parts as advertised on the website. Helpful staff and an impressive set of bikes.

I think I can understand why their internet customer service is 'variable' - only 2 chaps running a large shop with plenty of customers, so they probably take priority over the internet orders and queries.

Bad practice, it shows the 5* green "excellent" Trustpilot badge on the home page, but upon checking, it's only got 3* on the Trustpilot website!

Ordered a new fork for my bike (it was showing in stock), paid for UPS 48hr delivery. The communication has been terrible and I eventually got my tracking number, after 7 days, but now after 12 days UPS is still saying XXCycle still have not sent the item and it’s waiting collection. Ive emailed them but had no response, getting very worried now as I spent a lot of money.

I have ordered a mini pc there is no confirmation from xcelcycles side and phone number given also does not go through always it saus cannot be connected due to congestion last 2 days. So i assume i was cheated

Très mauvais service après vente. J'ai commandé des pièces avec un supplément pour une livraison rapide. Le délai de livraison n'a pas été respecté. Aucune réponse de xxcycle suite à ma réclamation ! En effet l'argent était déjà empocher, il n'y avait plus aucun intérêt pour ma demande !

I bought a Vico Carbon bottle cage(U$40) from them because the picture that they had posted at its website was showing the old model color which I was looking for. Not only the picture was misleading but I have received a damaged item. After weeks going back and forward w/ their slow to say the least customer service; they agreed to send me a ram so I could ship back the item to them so they would see if the item was really damaged. I had to pay for the shipping back from EUA to France and they would reimburse me later since they do not have any label for international returns. They received the item, confirmed that it was damaged, refunded me the cost of the item itself but not my cost of shipping it back to them as previously agreed. Bad quality control; bad customer service; dishonest.

In all honesty I thought this was a scam after purchasing. The communication and notifications are poor in addition to website format and login to the site. I was unable to login once I’d made my purchase and when I tried to reset password I was sent a blank email. I did however contact customer services via email and received a rapid response in regards to the status of my delivery. They immediately provided me with the UPS tracking number and the item arrived the next day. The item is also great and as described. All in all I would say you can definitely trust this site, however be aware communication and website functionality isn’t the best... this could be majorly improved. I wanted to write this review just to assure people not to panic as all is legitimate

Having ever heard of xxcycle.com (they’re based in France), I was wary of buying a new Campagnolo EPS battery from them. However, it arrived in immaculate condition via UPS 48 hours later - a fantastic service.
Unfortunately I did have to pay £70 import tax (presumably since Brexit, irritatingly), but very happy otherwise.

Matériel commande et paye. Jamais reçu et aucune solution de donné. Évitez ce type de gens non professionnel

Ordered a SRAM xd id360 free hub body. Was a little worried as the website didn't translate well but I have to say I am impressed payed via paypal and the product arrived on time (Next day) and packaged well via UPS. I will need to write another review once fitted but happy at the moment

Time. Ill be using this shop again . Dispatch price is a little high so bulk order is best . I bought some jagwire brake tools cos none in the uk. I bought an extra to sell on ebay to cover the postage costs

Bought the B67 Brooks Saddle which was completely out of stock in the US and directly from Brooks London. The price was the best I found online and arrived within a week. I was nervous ordering from the US but no issues what so ever. Very happy with the purchase.
