I have bought chillie plugs from this website for 3 years in a row. There is a good choice and the plants have always been healthy. Once they got stuck in the post (due to Royal Mail being too slow) and arrived in terrible condition. I contacted her and she sent out replacements straight away.
She oftens throws in a wild-card freebie to try as well, which is a nice touch.

Absolute garbage company this year, plug plants ordered on 26th Feb ref no 0000065882 still not arrived have emailed 3 times no answer back tried phoning on the numbers given on line 0161 225 3114 and 07847076629 both said dialled incorrectly all I want is my plug plants please or dare I say a refund so I can go to another company that cares.

Ordered some plugs. They died 2 days after receiving them.
Was told that they would replace them. 1 month later…nothing.
Have messaged them 3 times-no response.

This is our third year using World of Chilli’s This year I ordered plug plants as less than half of the seeds germinated last time. But unfortunately 2 of the 4 plug plants looked terrible when they came out of the package. They withered within a couple of days. I sent an email with photos and was told they would ship replacements out that day. They never arrived and the company did not respond to further emails.

Unfortunately all of the previous reviews stating that emails are never answered are correct. Such a shame, this used to be a good company a few years ago.

I used this service in the past and had a great experience sadly this experience was not the same this year. Firstly some of the seeds were not in stock and on receiving some I was left with a written scribbled note that the missing chillies would be sent on the following Monday. As a way of an apology I was given additional seeds.
After not receiving my missing seeds after 3 weeks I followed up with support to a response they had them in stock and would send out first class with additional seeds as way of an apology. Over a week later still no sign of them and been days since I chased with support with no further response as of this writing.
Additionally of the 60 plus seeds i ordered only around 11 have actually germinated which is a strong indicator of potentially old seeds which has been very disappointing. No of the apology seeds have germinated either.
I have very good experience with growing chillies so the issue is not with my germination methods but the seeds quality themselves.

Great selection of chillies supplied in good condition. We opt for the less hot versions generally, they have a better balance of heat vs flavour. The number of adverse reviews are completely at odds with my experience as a repeat customer. I think that the small plants are a better choice than the plugs. Order as early as possible in the year for best yield.

Ordered a bunch of plants, they arrived quickly in really good condition.
Had an issue with one variety, got in touch via the website "contact us" form, great customer service, heartfelt apology and complimentary replacements + more plants sent FOC. Owner really went above and beyond what was needed, so I will definitely be back next year for more. Plants looking healthy and growing quickly. Thankyou so much

The website is impressive, but a £27.60 order went absolutely ignored. All attempts to contact them where ignored! Seems to be a fake business!

I have ordered seeds before from world of chillies and they arrived promptly and produced a great varied crop! This time I ordered seeds and plugs separately, the seeds arrived on time but plugs didn’t but were shown as shipped. I contacted WOC and had a prompt and efficient response and the matter was sorted very quickly. The replacement plugs were in good condition and I am looking forward to a new batch of chillies. There are some negative views on this company but as a genuine customer, I cannot fault them.

I have been ordering with this company for over 3years. I always receive healthy chilli plugs and plants with a strong root system. My plants thrive on my windowsill until the weather is good for moving them into a grow house. I sometimes wait a couple of weeks for my delivery and all of this is stated very clearly on the website..Plants are bound to feel some stress when being sent through the postal system but plants from this company are very healthy to start with and so remain easy to maintain and grow on. Plants take time and patience to grow...My experience is that humans could maintain a little bit of this patience when buying products from smaller independent businesses who do not have an army of people behind them to serve at the click of a fingers!

I ordered £28 worth of plants and plugs, I received a confirmation email but that is all. They've taken my money and sent nothing.
They have STOLEN my money. They are common crooks, don't go anywhere near this thieving company. There's no phone number to ring, emails go unanswered. Very frustrating!

Long delay before receiving with no communication or reply to email. When eventually arrived every plant was misshapen, every one bent right over at a right angle with growing tips touching the soil, two were dead within 2 days. None of the tomato’s were labelled so no idea which variety is which. No reply to email asking for replacement or refund.

Used to be a great company to deal with, but of late not so much. They take the money then...nothing. No delivery. No despatch notification. No ETA of order. No response to emails. No response to website queries... customer is left out of pocket and in limbo.

Having successfully ordered and received chilli plugs and plants from World of Chillies before now, I was happy to order some more this year. Sadly when they arrived several days later, I was disappointed by their condition. I emailed the company (and included some photos) explaining my concerns. They replied the same day, apologised and promised to send out replacements. These arrived the following day (I am in the Scottish Highlands!) and were in significantly better shape, looking much more healthy. Having now potted them up (including an extra one included free of charge) I am confident that they will all grow on successfully. So an initial disappointment was rectified by a speedy and satisfactory response and delivery - well done Sarah and World of Chillies.

1st impressions seemed good when ordering.
When order arrived the seeds were out of stock and told a refund would be issued.
One plug snapped and damaged
This would not normally be a problem but have no response to emails and photos.
Disappointing and can't see me using again

Ordered plugs on three ocasions this month . Far better than my own from seed. Also such an informative website.Real value for money.

In my own expierience World of chillies are a wonderful company to purchase from.

I have placed orders with them for a fair few years, and I have always recieved great quality chilli and tomato plants.

I'm not sure why they recieve such bad reviews, but I will continue to shop with them.

Order came, half of the order no idea what they they was, 3 emails in 6days with no reply. Wouldn't re omens to know body!!

Terrible customer service. Plants arrived dead, took 3 emails to get a response, was told they’re be replaced. Replacements never arrived, all subsequent emails have been ignored
