Day 2 of leaving a 1* trustpilot review until my issue is resolved.
We have now been told we can expect a call within 2 weeks as (and I quote) 'The filed installation mnager has returned from leave' - yes even including those spelling mistakes.
So let me get this right, we have a serious H&S issue with exposed electrical cables following a Kitchen install and only 1 person in the business can deal with it, but he has been on leave.

We are still waiting for a suitable kitchen install since Feb 2026 - how can there be a possible resolution other than a refund and we will ask a competent business to complete the install and finish your poor workmanship.

Today we are seeking advice from Citizen's Advice and looking for ways to report Wickes legally for the quality of work (or lack of it). What a horrendous experience.

Just visited Wickes and bought £350 worth of paint. Totally forgot to use my trade card and just paid.

Lucky for me Emma was on the till. She didn't have to, but she reminded me that I didn't use my trade discount and amazingly sorted out my discount on the spot. She an absolute Gem!

I have had nothing but excellent service from the staff at Wickes Exeter. For example they were most helpful recently when there were items missing from some cabinets I’d bought.

We visited the Taunton branch of Wickes today to purchase paint for our new kitchen. We were struggling to choose the right shade and type of paint when a lady called Miranda came along and realised we were having difficulty with shades and showed us the colour cards which she said was a much better representation of colour which helped immensely ! When we visited the till a lady called Kathy served us,her friendly approach was very good customer service 👏

I have been in twice now once further kitchen and again for lounge units Anna was superb from start to finish she took my ideas and ran with them and the results were amazing she was professional through and is top notch at the design work i would go anywhere else she a credit to the company

I had a general enquiry and initially Shahen advised me. I liked his no pressure approach. We made an appointment for a home visit and measure up. Both my family and I were pleased with the manner and professionalism he displayed. He was courteous and shared his technical knowledge where we were obviously lacking. He offered good advise with practical suggestions. Part of our brief was that we had a limited budget. He worked hard to keep within our constraints and went further with limited discounts that made a difference. We visited the Hayes branch to further refine our kitchen. At the time the store was undergoing renovation and refurbishment. It chaotic and noisy, however, he managed well to accommodate us and keep us comfortable. We thank Wicks & Shahen , keep up the great work.

I go into Wickes daily for my materials and they are always friendly and greet me with a smile. Sophie has always been a great help if I need anything

Review by Mr P Davies: Ordered fence paint online from Wickes, Exeter, today (07.07.26). Collected it later today and was served by 'Sophie', who couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. She not only offered to arrange for a male member of staff to carry the two heavy tins to my car; she also personally went to find the brush I required, which I had been unable to find myself.

A very positive start on our journey for a new kitchen, Mark phoned us to ensure appointment was still convenient. Arrived on time, a very professional at all times. He listened to what we wanted to achieve, and then came up with ideas that we had not thought about, looking forward to seeing the design next week.

Super helpful staff, made a wonderful contribution to our community garden of a water butt & guttering so we can capture water from one of the buildings. Gurdeep the manager was lovely and very accommodating, and we had a lovely chat with another staff member about the area where our project is and how it has changed since she went to the school next door! Overall, wonderful service and contribution to community project. Thank you Wickes Dudley! :)

I've never had a bad experience with the staff at Wickes, but this chap was exceptional! Dan looked after me from the minute I entered the store. He got my 5 bags of slate chippings, my 3 bags of compost, loaded them onto a trolley and pushed them to the checkout. Then he opened a till, checked everything out and took my payment, and loaded everything into my car. What an absolute star!

Excellent service. Kiran was extremely helpful and even carried our order to the car and loaded it.
Would definitely recommend Wickes Wolverhampton and we will be using them again.

Can't fault the service. Helped with a rush order and transport from another warehouse to get what I needed to finish a clients project.

Form the very first visit Ashley Turton , Design Consultant, Wickes , Lincoln was our fairy godmother
She took my dream kitchen ideas and turned them into the most amazing design for our new kitchen
She incorporated our wish list into the kitchen design and also suggested some brilliant design ideas for us to consider which were all spot on
The design service was so successful and Ashley went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every little detail, , nothing was too much trouble and didn’t feel pressured at all which was our experience elsewhere, can’t thank her enough for everything

Ordered items in store. Have requested to cancel them and refund. They only refunded to the store tills and not my card. Subsequently, I have been charged and they cannot refund without going back to the store. Effectively, they are breaking the Consumer Rights Act 2015 as I have no goods and they have not refunded my method of payment. Will be disputing the charges with my credit card company. If this was a debit card, I would be seeking legal representation regarding it.
