Wickes - Dorking Omdömen 

I was very pleased with the advice and support I received from Julie during the design stage and the fitter Kevin also did an excellent job. Overall I am very pleased with the completed kitchen. The only minor downside was the time taken to deliver a couple of replacement parts.

Excellent,friendly and helpful customer service from 'Jess' at the Dorking branch of Wickes on recent visit (1st Aug). Whilst searching for metal protective spray, she was most helpful looking up product information.

First of all I love Wickes , I went to your Dorking branch today to return ab item ( my fault wrong fitting ) and to purchase other items , the young lady at the till was so polite friendly and extremely helpful , people are so quick to complain but never say thank you well I am doing just that , her name was JESS she made my day .

I wish that I had read these reviews prior to ordering from Wickes. This month alone so many delivery complaints!! I waited in for 3 hours ( time slot by City sprints) . Then got a text in the last hour stating that delivery issue and goods returned back to store. Customer service was useless. Spoke to a manager from Dorking branch who basically was making lame excuses for this. Totally unacceptable and inefficient. It appears a common complaint ( I gave up reading after 15 similar complaints this month alone). The replies from customer services also seem lame. Let's see what happens now as I've requested the store manager to contact me tomorrow first thing. I agreed reluctantly to a delivery tomorrow but will not be taking another day off so will discuss tomorrow with the manager, if he rings that the delivery driver should ring half hour before delivering. I'll update.

Update: so the Wickes manager didn't ring, I rang him and he assured me that the order would arrive latest by 10.30 am. Informed me that the app of City sprints didn't work and gave all customers a slot of 1500-1900 hours which wasn't accurate. The order arrived at 11.15 am. On the whole I'm really disappointed in Wickes.
Still awaiting for Scott's response. Sent details as he had requested.

Help staff and loads of products

The Wickes Dorking branch is always my preferred store because of the super helpful staff. Everyone is always wiling to help, whether it’s carrying heavy items to my car (thank you Dan), finding particular items or arranging a delivery of bulk bags. It’s always a pleasure to go into the store.

Had a great experience at the Dorking branch today. Not enough stock on the shop floor for the particular item I wanted. Asked Dan, really helpful, got the remainder of the stock I required. Fair play.

Staff were very polite and Craig helped load six extremely heavy bags of wood chip into the car with ease. Thanks very much Craig.

I went to collect some bags of sand from Wickes today. I was served by Craig whom I found to be very polite and courteous. He offered to carry the bags out to my car - for which I was extremely grateful as I was just getting over an illness. Thanks.

I can’t rate this Wickes store highly enough. Always friendly, helpful and quick.

I’d like to make a special mention of Craig who always has a smile ready, is keen to help however possible, and goes the extra mile.

I ordered 5 bags of top soil online within 10 minutes I had a notification to collect it from the Dorking store.
In store a young man called Craig brought my order on a trolley and then asked if I needed further help, which I did.
He proceeded to take my order to my car and load it for me.
I was very happy to get the help that was offered so willingly.
I’m 69 years old and have recently had a stroke, getting help without having to ask for it made me feel very grateful.
Well done Craig for brilliant customer service it was much appreciated.
