Terrific service, keen prices.
Wheelspin came up on Google after searching for a blinky speedo for my new build. I'm familiar with Wheelspin models, a few blokes at my local club use them. Ordering was easy, added a few extra little treats to get the free postage (who doesn't right?) and that's that. Then my pal texted me and talked me into doing a rally event at the club in a couple of weeks, I needed a particular tyre that had been chosen and my local shop was showing no stock. A quick message to Wheelspin and they added them to my order and sent me a payment link for the extra 9 quid. How easy is that!
Terrific experience. Great prices. Well recommended.

Customer service is second to none, really helpful staff with good honest advice, placed an order on Monday 9th and item arrived Wednesday 11th. Will definitely use Wheel spin models again but next time will pay them a visit. (This might be a bad idea) 🤣🤣 keep up the great work guys 👍🏻👍🏻 regard Andy B

Absolutely first class service

Wheelspin models has changed
Wheelspin models has changed. You used to be able to walk round a large retail style warehouse unit with product ranges on display. It was a good place to be. Now there is just a small area at the front where you call in to collect what you have ordered. Bring back the warehouse where you can walk around and view new products, talk to the team and chill out with like minded customers.

Many thanks for your feedback. I just wanted to reply - I do personally read all our reviews and like to keep track of where we're getting things right and wrong and help where we can.
I must admit, whilst I know it was 3 stars and hardly the worst review in the world, I did really want to come back to you on the points raised as they come close to the core of what I tried to change all that time ago.
It was 8 years ago now (!) when we changed the layout and filled the store with racking - a long time ago now, but I appreciate we can all remember it well. There was only one reason that I made the change, and it wasn't to try and upset anyone - it was to do the opposite and fill the place with more stock so that more customers could leave happy with the items they wanted and came in to purchase. It might not seem it, but there is far more actual tangible product on the shelves for you to touch and get hands on with than the old layout.
Yes, the old layout had a bunch of boxes and walls of parts you could look at - but very little for you to touch. And ultimately whilst there was a lot of product in that shop, I can tell you with some confidence there is 10-20 times that amount in this building now. Less empty space in the middle, maybe less wow-factor, but overall a better shop and a better experience - or at least, that was my aim....! I wouldn't say it's just a "small area at the front" - it's still a good size shop and I hope you would agree, not like many other shops with a very different feel. Have you seen the investment we are making with building our track upstairs too? That is not a money-maker, that is a facility for the community. And you mention chilling out with like minded enthusiasts, have you seen or been to any of the open days we've run with manufacturers to promote exactly that feeling?
You must have strong feelings to have taken the time to write a less than glowing review for the world to see, so I just wanted to point out the 'other side' of the story in case perhaps the lads instore didn't get that across to you...!
This business is my baby, so I do take pride in it and always happy to have a chat in response to any feedback - good and bad!

I had the worst experience I have EVER…
I had the worst experience I have EVER had with an online retailer when I placed an order with Wheelspin. I placed an order for over £500 with Richard from WSM. The order was supposed to arrive 2 days later by Fedex. To cut a long story short, the order never arrived. Fedex said they delivered the order to wrong property and just left a £500 order under a van! I spoke to Richard and he told me there was nothing he could do as he had to get Fedex to do an Investigation. 3 weeks later and I have had to open a PayPal claim to try and get my money back. Buyers beware here is the lesson. When things go ok - great... when things go astray, you will have a fight on your hands to get your order or get your money back. Richard was no help at all - don't bother ordering is my advice!

Great customer service.
I made contact with Wheelspin via the WhatsApp link on their website. They were always swift to respond, and very helpful. They quickly agreed to a price-match, and my order was dispatched within hours, arriving 48 hours after I clicked ‘buy’. I’m really happy with their service, and will go back to them with any future orders.
