What a great company! Many thanks to Karl & his team, for the re-waxing job they’ve done on my Belstaff Racemaster jacket, it is brilliant! It has been fully restored, cleaned & I can’t wait to wear it! I would use them again & I would be happy recommend their excellent service. 10/10

I bought my wax jacket back in 1997, and over almost 30 years it has been with me through more bitterly cold days than I can remember. It became one of those pieces of clothing that was much more than just a coat.

But nearly three decades of wear had taken its toll. It was dirty, worn, had holes and tears, and during a spring clean I finally decided that its time had come and I should get rid of it.

The problem was, I simply couldn’t do it.

There were too many years and too many memories wrapped up in that old jacket, so before giving up on it I went online to see if there was anyone who might be able to bring something like this back to life.

I came across a few companies in the UK, but The Wax Jacket Cleaning Company immediately stood out. There was a warmth in the way they spoke about these old garments and, importantly to me, a real appreciation that a well-loved jacket like this shouldn’t necessarily be disposable. Their philosophy of a “Jacket for Life”, something worth caring for, restoring and perhaps one day even passing on to the next generation, really struck a chord with me.

So I took a chance and sent my old 1997 jacket off to Karl and the team.

When the parcel arrived back, I honestly felt like a little kid at Christmas opening it.

What an amazing job they have done.

The care, craftsmanship, and attention that has gone into bringing my much-loved coat back to life is remarkable. It still feels like my old jacket, with all its history and memories, but wonderfully revived and ready to face many more winters.

Even the way it was packaged, and the lovely message on the outside, reflected the warmth and personality I had sensed when I first discovered the company.

Karl, thank you to you and everyone involved for understanding that sometimes an old coat is not simply an old coat.

I almost can’t wait for the Dublin weather to turn cold enough so I can wear it again!

And who knows, maybe she’ll make her way back to you once more in my lifetime.

My Barbour trench coat had spent years in a wardrobe having been over waxed at home.
I took it, along with a Barbour hat, into the new Wax Jacket shop in South Molton to see if they could be resurrected.
Karl was friendly & very knowledgeable & the price was good.
One week later I collected them & they were as good as new.

Sent in my Drizabone which I have had for ages. The lining was disintegrating and it needed re-waxing.
Karl was fabulous, letting me know it arriving safely and keeping in touch as the repairs progressed.

It arrived back today with a beautiful new cotton breathable lining and with the re-waxing it looks as good as the day I bought it

Incredible experience. These guys did a great job on my Barbour wax jackets and Burberry wax. Fixed zips, repair patches, new wax coating. All their work was impeccable. Would definitely recommend to others !

Have a farmers field that I've owned for 13 years now and it was disintegrating. Rips on the shoulder, cuffs absolutely ruined. Found these guys online and they absolutely smashed the repair. They've brilliantly worked in new parts and material so the whole thing feels patched and polished but keeps its charm.

I have several Barbour jackets as I appreciate their quality and longevity. I had one jacket that was 20+ years old but was hardly ever worn as the sleeves were too short. Having had a few not-so-good experiences with Barbour re-waxing services, I came across The Wax Jacket Company and, seeing their star rating, thought I would give them a try.
Requested a clean, lengthen sleeves by 2 inches and rewax. I got the jacket back and basically it's like new. Very impressed. The lengthened sleeves don't look like an alteration; they look as if they are part of the original design.
Yes, I would recommend The Wax Jacket Cleaning Company to others; in fact, I am about to send them a second jacket for re-waxing.

I was planning on giving my old Barbour jacket away, then saw your advert. Having it cleaned and re waxed has given it a new lease of life.
