Abbiamo noleggiato una Fiat Panda per 4 giorni. Alla reception c’era una ragazza che è stata molto carina, simpatica e molto professionale che ci ha spiegato benissimo le procedure. La macchina era nuovissima e pulitissima. La restituzione è stata ancor più semplice del ritiro e i soldi bloccati sulla carta di credito (900€) sono stati sbloccati il giorno successivo. Avevamo fatto l’assicurazione e per adesso nessuno scherzo da parte del noleggiatore per cui… ottima esperienza.

Grande Gentilezza, velocità e semplicità nel ritiro e nella consegna, auto in buone condizioni e pulita, costo molto economico, se va bene anche lo sblocco deposito,direi 5 stelle e lode

Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben spontan ein Auto für 10 Tage gebucht und es hat alles wunderbar geklappt.
Wir haben auch einfach mit ner Debit Karte bezahlt und auch die Kaution mit der Karte hinterlegt, was viele Autovermietungen dort nicht machen.

Servizio eccellente consiglio di prenotare con Vitarent , il personale è veramente gentile in particolare la ragazza che lavora alla reception di nome Irene con i suoi modi cordiali soddisfa l’esigenze del cliente, grazie alla prossima.

-5 stars. Do not touch this company with a barge pole! Clearly working the same scam over and over having looked at other reviews.
We returned the car, if anything in a better condition than we received it. The man at the desk refused to check it on return as he was “busy” (looking at his phone). We had a flight to catch, which they obviously knew, and when waiting for our gate we received an email claiming damages with 0 proof (675 euros worth)… luckily our flight was delayed so we decided to return to the office. Clearly he was shocked to see us, and we demanded to be shown the damage. He then admitted that he had checked the car himself shortly after we had left - so it was intentional for him to avoid checking the car with us present. He told us that the car had conveniently been removed from the parking lot, so we couldn’t review the damage.
As we were almost lost with how to deal with these awful people, the car shows up. He claimed damage to the undercarriage which he knew we wouldn’t have pictures of as you would have to lie on the floor under the car to get these, and also serious damage to the key lock which we didn’t use once on our trip. Even local passers-by could see the scamming in action, as we argued with this individual about something which turned out to be a manufacturing feature of the car (not even a dent). When he could see we were clearly right, he refused to talk to us, ran away, and locked himself in the office.
Never ever give your hard earned money to these dishonest people - it will ruin your trip!!!
Shame on them.

A l'aeroporto di Olbia Sono rimasto davvero molto contento l'anno prossimo sicuramente sceglierò di nuovo vita rent qualità e prezzo pulizia e personale gentilissimo grazie per questa esperienza ritorneremo 100% consiglio vivamente sono rimasto contento vi auguro il meglio macchina nuova Fiat Pandina con 10.000km nuova e profumata pulita ecc grazie di cuore

È la seconda volta che utilizzo il loro servizio e non ho mai avuto problemi....io preferisco il noleggio senza carta di credito ma con assicurazione super Kasko sono così coperto da tutto e mi faccio la vacanza senza pensieri...al ritorno basta consegnare la macchina con il pieno e il deposito cauzionale in contanti ti viene ridato.

I rented this little Panda on the 2nd/09 .for a 5 days. Found so many scratches all around but all described on contract. Took photos and video. On returning i was told about a scratch not described but on a photo i made. The assistant at the time he was quiet straight and bit rude ending in a little verbal witch made me stressed and unhappy. After my complaint it was solved but left me bit unsatisfied. I will be more careful next time. I deserved an apology at least.

facile da trovare e da riportare macchina in ottime condizioni seminuova e gentilezza

Reibungsloser und unkomplizierter Ablauf bezüglich der Anmietung eines Mietwagens am Flughafen in Cagliari. Die jungen Herren am Schalter waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und auch sehr kompetent. Auch bei der Rückgabe des Mietwagens gab es keine Probleme und somit konnten wir auch pünktlich für den Rückflug einchecken. Eine Bestätigung per E-Mail über die Freigabe der hinterlegten Kaution erfolgte innerhalb einer Stunde nach Abgabe des Fahrzeuges.

noleggio macchina con largo anticipo.Prezzo nella media stagionale.vista la macchina però......graffi ,botte,sporca dentro e fuori,senza il classico pieno.Ho dovuto fotografare da cima a fondo per non avere sorprese alla consegna.Dopo tanti anni di noleggio in sardegna è la prima volta che mi capita una situazione simile.Per me Vitarent non esiste più.Cossu Manuele

Awful treatment from company. Had to take photos in the dark if preexisting damage NOT witnessed by agent.
On return agent checked car ignored loads of scratches not on his form and went straight to small scratch on rear and said it was new. I showed photograph of the scratch but he refused to accept the clear evidence. Got aggressive when I insisted he looked at photo and scratch on car and said he had already made his mind up. Back at the office he refused to discuss our objections we also had a dispute because he didn’t return to us our signed copy of the agreement but insisted that he had.
We feel this was a pre planned scam to keep the deposit which was 900 euros knowing that we had flights to get and were powerless to do anything.
It does not seem regulated and I feel the booking agents are equally culpable by continuing to be partners with this dishonest car rental company. A very distressing experience and even if we had done the scratch it was a light surface mark which would polish out. Our photos prove 100% it was already there but they were not interested.

There are some simple rules to keep and then you will be fine. We have rented a car for 10 days in Sardignia, there were some scrateches already on the car, but it is really simple, if you take photos of the car when you rent, clean it indside and outside, and fill the tank before giving it back then they will be nice, polite, and will transfer back all the deposit. For us the photos were handy, because they were asking about a schratch which could be new to them, but we showed the picture of it and done, problem solved. So if you use this car as yours and register all the scratch at the begining there will be no problem at all. Will use them next time as well.

Todo muy bien, tanto la recogida como la entrega.La atención muy correcta.El coche estaba limpio y ha funcionado perfectamente .
El desbloqueo del depósito ha sido rápido.Ahora estoy esperando la devolución.Espero sea lo antes posible.

We rented a car that we looked after and even washed before giving it back then they accused us of causing major damage and kept £900 deposit and asked for more money!!! They obviously do this to as many people as possible but they only do it to people who don't take their own insurance.

Early June I rented a car from VitaRent. The process was odd from the start: they took my credit card details at a desk, handed me some documents, and told me the keys were in the sunblock—without inspecting the car.
When I returned the car, they again refused to do an inspection, saying they lacked staff. Later that day they claimed the door keyhole was damaged and demanded proof it had already been like that. Unfortunately, my photos didn’t show the keyhole. They immediately became rude over WhatsApp and charged me €640.50.
Only the next day, one of the friends that was with me realized that fortunately he had a picture showing that the damage was already there. Even with this proof, VitaRent refused to reimburse me at first, and ignored my requests for a receipt or a statement of the damage. Only after week later of several they emails admitted they were wrong. They promised repayment within 30 days, but after the deadline passed, they just stopped responding my many emails (not before sending me a email saying “don’t worry” about the payment). To this day, they have never reimbursed me, although they told Booking.com they had (I filed a complaint to Booking reporting they behaviour).I only recovered the money thanks to my credit card company, which refunded me after I filed a dispute.
Interesting thing: just two days later another review appeared describing the exact same “damage” and the same treatment—clearly part of a recurring scam.

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this rental company!!!!!!!

We chose this company because it was cheaper than others, but now we know that this “low price” comes from their method of scamming people - even if you paid less, you can be heavily charged from your deposit.

How it works:

Before handing over the car, they make the client take photos of the vehicle - supposedly for security, but in reality, it’s a trap.
When returning the car, they don’t check its condition; instead, three hours later, they send a message with a photo of an alleged damage. They know perfectly well that most clients are already on their plane and won’t come back to resolve the issue.

Then they ask for proof that the damage existed beforehand. If the client doesn’t have a photo of that exact spot (which is very likely, since scratches are only visible from a certain angle or under specific lighting), it’s difficult to photograph it when picking up the car on the first day. It’s also almost impossible to document every side of the car with precision - you can take a photo of the side, but will a small scratch or dent, which they later accuse you of causing, be visible?

It’s worth adding that the car is not in good condition - it’s full of scratches and dents, giving them plenty of room to accuse customers. This is exactly how the rental company extorts money from the deposit or the insurance.

The most scandalous part is that they have photos of the car before the rental, showing these damages, yet they still accuse clients and try to charge them!!!!

This is an absolutely dishonest and shameful way of operating. The staff acts normally when handing over the car, but in reality, that’s when their true “business” begins.

⚠️ My advice: stay away from this rental company. Read other reviews! Their reputation doesn’t come from nowhere.
It’s better to pay a bit more to a trustworthy company than risk losing your deposit or fighting with your insurance over such practices.

Ho noleggiato una Panda per tre giorni. L'auto era come indicato nella prenotazione.
Le operazioni di prenotazione, ritiro e riconsegna dell'auto sono state veloci. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Un piccolo svantaggio è il deposito maggiore rispetto alla media, ma dal momento che lo sapevo fin dall'inizio, non è stato un grosso problema.
Ho faticato a trovare l'ufficio all'uscita dell'aeroporto poiché non c'è nessun cartello con l'indicazione Vitarent. Ho telefonato al numero indicato in fondo alla stampa della prenotazione e mi hanno risposto in inglese. Non parlavano italiano e non hanno saputo darmi indicazioni di dove fosse locato l'ufficio per andare a ritirare le chiavi.
