Very professional, prompt in getting things done. Between my old van dying, going through the process of contacting vans direct, buying a new van and having it delivered only took a Cpl of weeks and that was over Xmas period aswel. Everything went smoothly so can’t pick fault in anything really, Emma, who dealt with me was very professional and helpful from day one! Top marks from me! Reading some of these reviews I feel I’ve dealt with a different company!

Vans direct were threatening, discriminating and heavy handed. Having explained to one of their agents that I have autism was told not to use my disability as an excuse. I booked insurance with them for a temporary hire van only to recieve £120 cancellation fee.
Then after leaving 6 messages did never recieve a call back just received a ton of emails and messages to threaten me with collection!!
This company was awful to deal with and would not recommend them at all?

We were clearly told vans were in stock for fast delivery. It turns out they have to go to a supplier and have no stock. They made a complete mess of our financial paperwork and made that an excuse. , Once that was sorted, we still have no van. This is verging on a scam. Wish we had never seen them

My husband had dealings with Simon when purchasing his new van. He’s been kept informed at every step and has since had follow up calls to make sure everything was as it should be.
We turned to Vansdirect after previously purchasing, and returning a van to a dealership where the service was shocking.
Simon and his colleagues at Vansdirect have restored our faith in buying online.

stay away they put me with a unregulated finance company has kept my vat (didn't provide a receipt)
and when I work hard for another 4 years to pay van off so I own it I still have to pat £60 plus vat as a peppercorn rent for life so I rent a van I own what a scam
the finance company is mobilise finance service I wonder what kick back vans direct are getting

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I placed an order for a van in June/July 2024 and the sales rep advised a September delivery. The van was severely delayed and the customer care team, although friendly, were unable to give me any useful information, they just said they had no information from the supplier The delivery date kept slipping and despite lots of calls I was eventually given a date in March 2025, that slipped for no given reason to April, this then slipped again to May when they organised delivery, then I was told the van was in the country but damaged with some chips and scratches, and it took them until July to repair and deliver the vehicle. I should add all these dates were verbal, never in writing, i imagine so that I couldn't claim a refund of my deposit! During this very frustrating experience I asked for the build sheet to double check that the van was correct before the delivery, the "order date" on the build sheet was December 2024, which would go someway to explain the year it took them to deliver the van. I have asked why this was, then made a formal complaint and so far they have failed to respond adequately to either. So unless they actually have the van and can give you a firm delivery date, use someone else.

Zahid Ali was a huge help, he listened and came back with what I actually asked for, he gave some options that were from larger deposits to smaller deposits and as I was a director from Ireland and not the UK he was able to find finance options that allowed that, which was great.
Overall a very good experience and I would HIGHLY recommend them1

From initial enquiry to delivery, a first class service.
Attentive sales personnel got us the best possible deal.
Nothing was too much trouble and turnaround was very efficient.
I would recommend Vans Direct to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
Difficult to get through to speak to them when I did kids screaming in background non of the staff would give me there complaints procedure when requested. Very Dodgy
