Had a problem with a game and got refunded. Maybe your experience may differ, but for me they did listen when i submitted a problem.

I recently encountered a deeply troubling situation in a game on Valve, and it has left me utterly frustrated. I want to be clear that this is not just feedback; Valve is already aware of the problem. Instead, I'm reaching out for immediate intervention in my case and similar incidents affecting other players.

During a recent match, two of my teammates engaged in deliberate griefing against me. Despite my efforts to play the game strategically, they intentionally walked into the fire I threw at the enemy, aiming to get me kicked out. Moreover, they attacked me with grenades and other disruptive actions, leaving me fuming with anger. Despite fuming with anger, I kept my cool and never attacked any teammate. This behavior is outrageous and severely impacts the gaming experience for many players.

My plea is simple: take action against these disruptive players. They deserve a ban for griefing, not a mere cooldown on my account. I find myself powerless when teammates turn out to be unsportsmanlike, and I cannot control their actions. It's unjust that I might face consequences for the actions of these troublemakers when I never intentionally harmed my teammates.

I urge Valve to address this issue promptly and reconsider the consequences assigned in such cases. Players should not be penalized for the unsportsmanlike conduct of their teammates. This adjustment would significantly enhance the fairness and enjoyment of the gaming environment.

$6.7 billion and they can`t even remove cheaters from CS2 year 2023, not even with AIs, but steal our money they do, i practice my aim hard to get F....... destroyed by cheaters in every game. Valve corperation is criminals, they spend some money to make CS2, instead of just paying to VAC all cheaters, and they also have the game for free, so cheaters can cheat over and over and over again, are the people at valve apes?? or do humans really work there?

Dadurch wirkt Cs2 ziemlich langweilig da kein neuer kontent da ist!
Das Anti-Cheat muss unbedingt erneuert,verbessert und ausgebaut werden (aktuell viele Cheater)
Die elo gewinnpunkte passen nicht mit dem überein was dir ein lose abzieht (Premium)
Aber durch die Updates (fast täglich) sieht man das Valve dran arbeitet!

Sempre deu bom suporte, mas ja deram restrição de 24 horas nos jogos deles e nao responderam ao ticket, finalizando o mesmo sem resposta alguma.

Valve, Ihr seid wirklich absolut unfähig Spiele zu entwickeln. Nach über 10 Jahren bring ihr so ein unbrauchbares Spiel raus? CS2 stürzt ständig ab und ich werde gesperrt, obwohl ich nichts dafür kann. Ständig Leute im Spiel die Spielbehinderung betreiben und es wird nichts dagegen unternommen. Schreibt man Steam an, passiert auch nichts. Jetzt bin ich schon wieder 7 Tage gesperrt und ich kann wieder nichts dafür. Das ist echt eine Schande und eine Frechheit! Ich möchte von euch eine Entschädigung dafür, das ich ein Spiel bezahlt habe und es nicht nutzen kann.

I use a bunch of services with 2FA, but over the last years, Steam gave me such headaches over such errors with their 2FA that surely gave me early gray hairs over the fear of being locked out of my +10 years account, from blocking my location over their app not knowing my city exists, logging me out every time I launched the app after login with a browser in the only PC I use, locking me out after login fails on their part, randomly taking my ability of buying/selling on the marketplace for no motive and now recently locking me from adding my mobile number after I put it on another device, what made their outdated 2FA send me invalid SMS codes bc it took so much time to send them, what locked me out yet again, and I know those "security lock outs" are always some bs time limit that doesn't mean anything as you could wait thee days, one week or a year for no result and you have to find some obscure loophole to fix it, if it wasn't for the market features (the marketplace being practically unusable without them) I would never activate this service again, I'm so sick of being locked out for errors on their part.

The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever “received”. They are dense and refuse to answer any questions or come up with a solution over their mistake. 0/10

I bought a steam deck in july 2022 and yesterday was playing a game was working great so today 11-19-2023 the steam deck turns on makes the beep but the screen is black.

I have tried the holding buttons to get into storange mode, i tried all the holding buttons whiling turning the system on. Nothing is working

Now the worse part is that my warranty is over and i don't think valve will cover the steam deck or help me so its a $800 paper weight now.

I used it to play games, did nothing to the system. valve should extended the warranty for these type of problems/

They promote terrorism in video games for 20 years.

They have freaks or contractors who yell at people for no reason at all.

They are known to do nothing about slander, censorship and whitewashing.

Their communities are full of shitholes which only US citizens will be happy about.

I am very happy to ERASE this company and any country which will have Gabe Newell as citizen.

Cs go 2 is a shame,not working well,very poor fps even in low setings...hit box is not well designed.....right hand 0 is very important to people with vision problems,i have my left eye with low vision,dont understand how this parameter cant be changed... search profesional player to make the best game of all time shine,lot of cheaters too and no one is interesting in erradicate him, the same errors in console...u didnt improove nothing,we dont need beautifull and heavy texture map thaht only few can handle, u are forgeting why this game was the best,we need nice hitbox interpolation isuess fixed,and all of cheaters out.. the real isuess arent being solved,without that this game is the same dog with different necklace....im very very sad...only want money,the hackers problem is real and is big,im here since 1.5 and i know u arent putting effort to take out hackers... So im thinking to let this game forever....maybe im too old and the new generation dont know about the real thing,i remeber playing on lan,is very very sad,with millions of players and millions of money earned,valve is not serious,its being very disrespect with the comunnity....

Tilasin valve index lasit jotka olivat kalliit. Kun tuote saapui niin tuote oli viallinen. Olin yhteydessä valven tukeen ja sain äärettömän huonot vianrajausohjeet. Tuntui siltä että käytetään valmiita vastauspohjia joista alkuun ei ollut mitään hyötyä. Aloitin siis vianselvityksen 14.09 ja tämä prosessi kesti 20.09 asti. Vianrajauksessa halusivat saada loki-tiedot jotka otin heti pyynnöstä ja toimitin heille. Tämän jälkeen turhaa paskaa välissä ja viimein ilmeisesti osaavampi henkilö pyysi tekemään asiat kuten vianrajauksessa olisi heti alkuun pitänyt kysyä niin ongelma saatiin korjattua ja uuden tuotteen sain 27.09 joten tässä vianrajauksessa meni kaiken kaikkiaan 13 vuorokautta. Pyysin tämän jälkeen pientä hyvitystä vielä vaivasta jonka jouduin tekemään siitä hyvästä että toimittivat toimimattoman tuotteen ja tämä evättiin samantien. Lisäksi tuo vianrajaus ei ole suunniteltu perus tietokoneen käyttäjälle mutta onneksi itse selvisin tästä hyvin. Mutta ihmettelen edelleen että minkä takia selvästä viasta joutuu ajamaan ddu ja usbdeview ohjelmat? Myöskään ohjeistusta ei näihin kumpaankaan ole steamin support sivuilla ja silti tätä vaativat. En suosittele ostamaan steamin kautta mitään tuotteita jotka edellyttävät sen että tuote toimitetaan postitse.

Moderation trolls people in discussions. Usernames, profile descriptions, comments, etc are all censored heavily. Suggestions are brushed off and shut-down by trolls, who bait you until those same moderators ban you. If somebody doesn't like your opinion odds are your posts will magically just disappear "corrupt mods remove them."Option to turn off censor doesn't work, and there is no recourse if you want to use a name they don't like... Support only offers copypasta. Payment issues are never resolved. And you never actually own your games, so when they decide to drop your hardware or software you lose all the money you've ever invested in your account... I regret so heavily investing in this company and refuse to do business with them in the future, please do yourself a favor and never give these people your money.

I don't recommend to deal with this company. Customer support is rly useless, waste of your time and money! Stay away from them. Bought many games from them previously and being dota plus subscriber. Also bought many items in Dota2, didn't play for 1 year and they simply removed everything from my account. Total trash and scam!

They have awful Customer Service. When asking about the Steam Deck's availability saying: "It's out of stock and we don't know when back in", is no way acceptable.

They need to explain why it's out of stock in the UK yet available in every other country. Then why they can't ship some over, but instead they hide and give unacceptable responses.

Also, they talk about the Summer Sale on the UK store but the item has been permanently out of stock for weeks. Why not remove it from the store?

Man, Steam is the go to place for PC games. But their hardware, the way the Customer side has been handled is horrendous.

Had an issue with credit card payment, Valve claimed it was blocked.

Opened a support ticket as I was confused as nothing wrong my end, card OK and could use it with other online retailers (IE The BIG one).

After one message Trying to understand the issue Valve bluntly ended my case saying use another card and this is the end of the discussion.

Well, no more purchases from Steam from me.
