Steam support is worse then you think

A submitted a support ticket regarding moderator abuse and steam support ignored it and let the moderator get away with it despite the support ticket containing proof to the abuse.

My friend also experienced moderator abuse they got in trouble for a comment they literally didn’t even make it was made by someone else.

Very bad support

Very bad support. I bought on 23. March another Steam Deck (☝️23. was still in 10% off period, I bought 2 pcs in the same week and they arrived) and they canceled it without any reason. I noticed it in time still 23☝️, and wanted to try again. And the price was not anymore 10% off. And they just fckd me off.

garbage customer support usually responds in 1week to 4 months, disgusting steam mods who are pro-terrorist or as of now pro Russians giving community bans with reasons like Ukrainians are nazis and something similar, perhaps valve should stop hiring 3rd party agents what the hell USA still doing by letting this pro-terrorist company exist

Customer care are totaly broken

Customer care are totaly broken, seems they put kids as emplyees. Each day are maded lots of new accounts from scammers and cheaters, we talk about big numbers; they don't care of the genuinty of each account, gamers are only numbers not people. Support for issues versus gamedevs who scam it's zero, they support the scammers instead the scammed. I get insulted from some gamedevs moderators in their steam hubs where they do even abuse of power to censor players complaints, ticket opened about it to steam support are useless, they care only about money and don't matter to them if it's legal or not and discharge their responsability to game devs. Lots of games are categorized as free2play when they are pay2win or pay2progress with gamblings boxes and procedures that broke the international laws about gambling, but Valve do nothing and protect them while childs playing that games developing gambling dependencies. Valve will destroy completely the entertainement industry of gaming, pushing devs to develope more scams than games to make only profits, our entertainment is in danger and Valve don't help us, someone must stop them to work in this way, we players are gaming to have fun not to being scammed or being frustated.

Suporte deplorável, ineficiente e INSEGURO

Suporte deplorável e ineficiente, mesmo com autenticação de dois fatores e steam guard fui roubado em mais de 45 itens, vendidos no proprio mercado steam e um item de centavos comprado com todo o dinheiro arrecadado. Entrei em contato com o suporte, deram desculpas e simplemente fecharam o ticket sem nenhuma solução. Vasculhando na internet encontrei mais pessoas com o mesmo problema e situação, estarei entrando em contato com cada uma delas e processando a steam em nome de todos, será um ação conjunta!

Free replacement

The cat chewed my Steam Dock's built-in c-cable rendering it non-functional! They replaced the whole thing for free. Very good customer service.

Encourages buying Deck accessories from them directly in future.

Very poor customer service. I complained about features of a recent Steam sale, and was told that my complaint would be forwarded to the relevant department. When I asked for a personal response to my complaint, they said they don’t do that and closed the ticket, essentially ending the communicatio

they sent my steam deck to the wrong…

they sent my steam deck to the wrong door and now they blame me, and basically telling me to go f myself and figure it out 🤔, I am asking them to go and pick up the package from the receiving address and I will handle any fees but they won't even give any support and closed the ticket, what a joke.

Besser als die Konkurrenz

Verglichen mit den ganzen anderen (EA, Ubisoft und Co.) immernoch die beste Wahl.
Die ganzen 1* Bewertungen sind offensichtlich von Minderjährigen die nur Frust ablassen wollen oder kein bisschen objektiv sein können.

Shocking company

Shocking company. First deck dispatched using Evri, “lost” then “damaged” then “lost” again. Replacement sent using SAME COURIER and guess what, that’s now “lost” too. This time can’t even contact valve as customer service “too busy”. Please don’t waste your money as you will be sending £600 for something that doesn’t arrive on numerous occasions.

Pro russian

got in touch with support a lot, never got any help . more problems than anything. if you experience lags they will ask you to use their"config" to get the "best settings for your PC" . this is the maximum your pc can run for 10 second.
Their anti cheat is non existant , they say they have one but take MONTHS to ban anyone.
Im in europe , their maket for the game i play is russia.
they send all europe to russia even so no one want to be there.
They exerce a pro russian policie , and you often get into sanction from a team who wouldnt speak english to start with .
They add a crazy amont of time out to allow cheaters to fix their script.
If you use the "comunity" you re almost for sure lower your non transparent "trust factor" wich you re not allowed to know, easier this way for them.
They ask kids to provide real name and phone number in a platform hardly secured(it s not) in order to raise their trust factor with a list of non sence and dangerous requierments.

I reserved their Steamdeck product but..

I reserved their Steamdeck product months ago, and did not receive an invite to purchase. Upon noticing in the community threads that consumers claiming to have made their reservations after me were receiving theirs, it occurred me to me Valve had skipped me in the que.
I then opened a ticket with Valve and the cs rep denied they had made a mistake, then proceeding to make my reservation available for purchase. They offered no apology or compensation.
So I went ahead and purchased my Steamdeck. I responded in the open ticket that I was unhappy with how they didn’t take any responsibility for the mishap regarding my reservation.
And they simply responded that they’re going to forward my complaint to the customer feedback department.
It’s going on 3 business days since I purchased my Steamdeck and they still haven’t shipped it.
That’s unacceptable for a piece of hardware that they charge anywhere from $400-700 for.
As for their cs, they offer no live support and their response time is terrible.

Beware of refund / review scams by Valve

They are basically scammers.
I purchased a product - didn't use it for a while, when I tried it I had an issue using it due to some invasive protection triggering my firewall. I wanted to get a refund, I got an answer that I'm too late for a refund. In this case I think that's not fair I didn't just reconsider, but anyway. I tried to leave a - negative - review for the product, but I was denied because I didn't use it enough.
So here I am with a product I can't use, not getting refunded, but also being denied the opportunity to provide a review for it.
I was scammed out of 20 euros this way.
Product was Doom Eternal. I just remembered as I was looking if I can get it on GOG but not yet.
