Servers are shit. The download falls to 0 kb/s more often than not, it's downright infuriating having to wait for it to get a "internet error" to continue downloading.

a terrible app made by dim witted half wits take my review down idc there's the truth nexus is 1.ass 2.greedy 3.too many ads 4.bad ui 5.usless updates 6.shitty game library. like i looked up like 7 of my games they've been around for more that 5 years and non of them were there but on the web sight right there get a grip or quit nexus

Your download speed is limited to 3 MB/s - Which if you do maths work and count 1.4KB-2KB you see even Free users getting way below 3MB speed's

They don't even help you fix your 2FA even if you still have access to your account they just tell you create a new one.

The whole 2fa thing is stupid. It's a mod website. Not a bank. If you don't have their outrageously priced premium subscription and you don't have access to any of your 2fa codes, you're sol. All they tell you is that you're locked out permanently and that you can either create a new account or they can delete your current account so you can make a new one with the same email. They're absolutely useless. Do yourself a favor and just get your mods elsewhere and install them manually.

Account gone (no support), no more life time premium, bias in regards to mods that only serve to fix and remove ideological agendas in games, lying about why they remove content to look good, almost more anti-consumer than EA, Ubisoft and Microsoft combined despite being "for the community".
We all know they've been like this for years. Nexus mods does not reflect the actual modding community.

Sito ridicolosamente controintuitivo, buonino solo per chi usa Windows, peccato per chiunque usi qualsiasi altro sistema operativo, questo sito (e in maniera ancora più evidente il manager Vortex) detiene un monopolio che non può essere utilizzato su altri OS, nemmeno dopo aver configurato migliaia di percorsi alternativi, eccessivamente macchinoso e non valso la pena da configurare, se ci tenete alla vostra salute mentale state alla larga.

absolutely terrible website, none of the mods work when you download them, terrible customer support and overall a terrible website/company.

They added 2fa to my account without my consent which locked me out of my account where I have uploaded mods I developed. Emailed support and was met with fake customer service bs and no actual solution.

I tried at least 25 times to download different mods on this site. I troubleshooted, and it is not a problem with my computer but with the site itself. Ridiculous. Not to mention it is completely riddled with advertisements.

Occasionally I purchase a single 1-month subscription to download larger mods. I did this last year in February. At some point in the subscription process, I was swapped to an annual. I was charged $90, and was entirely unaware until I received a renewal notice a few days ago. Obviously, I'm well outside the 14 day refund window, so they're refusing to discuss. But my activity history corroborates that I only expected a 1-month subscription, as does the past 1-month subscriptions I purchased ~1-2 times per year over the last 5-7 years.

I can't speak to the download speeds, they were faster for me but not sure if it was worth more than a Netflix subscription.

The manager is crap, 4 times in less than a month it has corrupted a collection of more than 800 mods for me, even ChatGPT could make a better mod manager in JavaScript.

Yep... Instead of letting everyone download Collections of Mods that are Free to download anyway... no they want money so you can download without having to click every second for each mod in a Collection ...and skyrim mod collections are often massive

3mb/sec download throttling for anyone unwilling to pay a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION TO A MOD DOWNLOAD WEBSITE YOU WOULD USE EXTREMELY INFREQUENTLY ONCE YOU'RE PLAYING THE GAME. I downloaded games faster in 2001 on a pilot program "wireless internet" service provider that had two locations in the entire United States and folded within a month. To push users that far back in time as leverage to gain a subscription fee is not only greedy, but should frighten away all of their advertisers for fear of being associated with this abysmal experience. The craterous drop-off in concurrent and daily users should've been a clue to the executives at whatever horrible holding company (I imagine) owns them at this point.
