Excellent install. Timely and very polite and informative installer. System works much better than my former cable system. Excellent picture. Usualmprogram gripes ... really want alamcarte.

It is a pretty good service and my only complaint is that my joey keeps losing it's signal from the Hopper in the bedroom to the Joey in the living room.

Customer service sent me back and forth then was hung up on the sales guy on the phone I told him I have a Samsung smart tv and would like hd channels he told I qualified and he said my box was a hd box but when it was setup it was basic channels and then the installation guy told me I could upgrade just call so I did and it was 650 dollars for the hopper and 550 for the basic hd box i think it's bs but it is what it is I guys I tried calling to talk to someone about how I was told it was a had box and hold please hold please let me send transfer you over hold please let me transfer click I fell cheated thanks

Love the service

I would give it 5 stars except for the fact it's satellite, seems it always goes out when we need it the most (severe storms). Menu is way better than DirecTV's, boxes are 10 times faster than the DirectTV Genie. Wireless Joey is awsome.

I actually have no complaints with the service I received. The lady that assisted me with the cable package I eventually purchased was very professional and courteous. The technician that installed all of my equipment was very professional and courteous as well. He had thorough knowledge of all the equipment he was installing and assisted me on how to use my equipment since I grew up in a household still stuck in the dark ages and grew up with no cable service whatsoever. This is the very first time I have ever had cable service under my name and I am not disappointed with the choice I have made.

I would like to thank you for starting my service with a low upfront cost I will recommend DISH to all my friends I enjoy the programming and the installation was fast and easy I really feel that you care about your customers and I will be a loyal customer for a long time to come thank you very much 😊 STEVEN E. Slow speeds; the Hopper keeps claiming it's disconnected from the TV, but it is never disconnected when I check.

The guy who did our installation for Dish did a great job.

Ask questions

Charter was going too high so we changed to Dish for TV. Less features than cable on same channels.
For instance TCM on charter lists the stars and running time along with the title where on Dish you just get a title.

I have had bad experiences with cable companies in the past. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of this company - their customer service staff and technicians have made me very hopeful that I have finally solved my problematic tv and Internet capabilities at my home!!

I was made to believe that I was in the top 5% with my rating of credit. I was told since it was in the top 5% I could have either Netflix or NFL package of some kind for a year. So I picked Netflix. After I was set up to receive dish, I hung up with the agent and got online to look at dishes Web page. I was angry to find that dish was offering new customers that do a 2 yr agree get either Netflix or the sport package. I was irate. I then , the morning of my install , and after taking the day off from work, I received a call from the installer telling me that my install would not happen until Sunday because most of his installers called in sick. I was irate a second time. So I already have little faith in dish network. I get Netflix for free for one year which costs roughly 109 dollars. You pay 50 dollars up front which 1. I was told with a 2 yr agreement, I would not pay anything and if I set up auto pay, I would get a 5 or 10 dollar discount not sure if it 5 or 10. I saw my bank statement about three days later , there was a charge for 1 dollar and a charge for 49.95 which I didn't know about. I told my bank that they took it without notice and my bank recommended that I remove them from autopay, so I removed them. Sorry dish, unless you make it right , you have 3 strikes. I want 49.95 returned and I want the auto credit discount even tho I don't trust to set up autopay. Last but least, I . Since i was lied to regarding why i get nextflix and I did over half of the dish install while the installer screwed around with getting a wireless joey. 2. I had to operate the signal finder because the installer was freezing and hands were cold and so he couldn't get the signals found. I want Netflix for the length of the agreement and the premium movie channels for 1 yr instead of 90 days or you can void the agreement. Oh , I was pretty well forced to listen to a gentleman pushing a service for home security before my order for dish was complete. I also was told I would get this serve for free with setup. I told the agent I had a security system and he pressured and pressured, he didn't get that I didn't and couldn't get another security since I have a 2 yr agreement with ADT. Finally I told the guy no while being rude and straight forward. I don't care for inconsiderate sells. Please dish, get with it. Hire respectful sales agents. Not 18,19 yr olds. If I get my demands, I will remove this post.

I did order dish at one time and found out the homeowner wouldnt allow it. I called back the same day and cancelled the order.

As a new subscriber, less than a month old, we are very pleased with the
overall program with Dish TV. The technician arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable and courteous. We had follow up with customer service which assisted us with questions or any concerns. They are extremely polite and helpful. Overall, we are delighted with our TV programs and holiday music at a very reasonable price. Forget cable
get Dish TV. Picture is very clear with no problems receiving the satellite signal. Thank you for a great experience.

I have dealt with all the other options available, and at least in my experience Dish was the only one that was trained, and seemed to care that things were done in the way I desired. This service was very much appreciated, and the system has worked better than expected as well. I would recommend Dish to anyone. The cable provider was a joke. After showing up 21/2 hrs. late he informed me he could not install the service as required- REALLY?! Then wanted me to wait 1/2 hr. To speak to his supervisor. Dish was a HUGE relief after the fiasco that was cable.

Service Not Good Make Calls Never Improved ..Sounds Continue to Go Out Very Disappointed

I don't understand why they would offer you a free Netflix account when the internet can not handle streaming the movies or shows. If there is a faster internet option then they should tell you to stream movies you need to have this amount of internet speed. This would help you make the decision on what internet speed you should have.

I've had DISH for over 5 years now. The initial setup was pretty straight forward. When I originally set it up I had the installer put the dish exactly where I wanted on the house and run the feed to a few extra rooms for future purposes. There were not issues in doing this. Only had DISH go down maybe once per year due to snow. Other than that the service has been great.
