We've had several boxes now and the quality of the meat second to none. Buying and eating meat of this standard means that you are not only TRULY supporting local British farmers but it is nutritionally superior to what you would get at the not-so-super-market do you don't need to eat as much if you don't want to. We love the varieties of cuts. Lamb bacon is a personal favourite!

The meat is brilliant quality and delivery is always on time

I bought two rabbits, from which a lot of dark blood spilled after unpacking. I washed and soaked the meat as I do all the time with such a product. The meat gave off a specific smell, but I thought it would be ok after cooking. I couldn't get rid of this stench from my hands, and the meat stinked the whole kitchen during cooking. I wanted to try the sauce, but it was impossible to swallow it. The taste is strange, smelly as if it was soaked in something toxic. Objadlew. I will never buy anything from this site. It's a pity because I lost £50.

I'll order but I'm not happy putting in an order for 120 pounds to get to check out and find 7 pounds postage. Try to support farming which is really expensive anyway thinking large order it should be free on 4 pounds not 7 plus really excessive.
Will adjust my feedback after receiving my order.

Superb quality lamb chops, pork sausages and boerewors. So good to be able to buy a slab of smoked bacon and cut it to required thickness. Definitely will be using Dorset Meat again and buying some of the beef. Thank you for your superb after sales service.

Product First Class..

Just purchased 2kg rolled pork shoulder. Arrived on Friday as planned and cooked today. Unbelievable, so tasty and far better than any local butchers even though they are more expensive.
We used this recipe bbc good food easy-roast-pork-shoulder
And it was utterly fantastic.

Always get great products from Dorset Meats.
However on the last order we tried the Chicken and Wild Mushroom pies . They were excellent, plenty of chicken and mushroom .
Unfortunately cant be frozen or I would order more with my next order.

I like the ethical choices. It’s British, supports British farmers.

It’s really ecological.

A lot of animal welfare in there. I eat a lot of veg. My husband is suffering from dementia. He goes along with my veg recipes, but prefers to eat meat.

So I go to the Dorset Meat Co. I can cook for my husband and still feel that everything is as ethical as possible.

Bought chicken, hare and chorizo to make a paella and the quality of the meat was brilliant. So fresh and well prepared. Well packaged and arrived safely.

I have just cooked a saddle of lamb ordered from Dorset Meat Company in June and frozen.
It is probably the best piece of meat that I have ever served ( I am 75 years old and so have cooked a few dinners in my time! ).

Have been ordering meat from this company for a while now and it is always good quality, lean especially the goat meat. Their delivery service is excellent and meat always arrives at the correct temperature. I’m very pleased and so are my customers. I won an award using their goat meat in one of my recipes in 2022.
