Premium buying experience
I recently purchased a BMW Z4 from Daniel at Sytner Nottingham and couldn’t be happier. I already knew the car I wanted, and Daniel was available immediately to arrange a viewing and everything that followed was incredibly smooth, speedy (just like the car!) and straightforward.
He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the test drive spot on, ensuring I experienced all the different driving modes, which gave me real confidence in the car.
The personal touches really stood out too, especially the fantastic video he took of me driving out of the showroom.
A genuinely 5-star experience with friendly staff offering high level of hospitality in an environment that makes you feel valued. Highly recommend Daniel if you’re considering a new car.

Outstanding Service
My 3rd Car from Sytner BMW Nottingham and again they excelled in all departments, I have dealt with the same sales person for all 3 cars I’ve purchased over the last 8 years, Stephen Barradell has guided and advised me as always. I travel from York each time and although the cars are not in Nottingham it’s never any trouble to have them sent to the dealership for me to view, thank you Sytner and thank you Stephen the customer service has been outstanding again.

Car taken in for service
Car taken in for service. Nice staff who found me a quiet place to work with a coffee.
Now the bad bit…… disconnected my dash cam and didn’t reconnect nor tell me that they do this.
When I telephoned I was fobbed off with “ there are signage saying we do this “ funny I didn’t see it or told they do it.
Also told to just plug the power back in…..what about the other 2 cables of the 3 they’d took out.
If I hadn’t noticed them when I got home and had an accident how would that look to my insurance company.

Great service
I recently took my X1 in to Sytner Nottingham as it had developed a fault. It was assigned to Niamh Hazeldnine who from the start to finish was extremely helpful, reassuring, polite and very customer focused. As my car was off the road a temporary car was arranged which was done so very quickly with regular communication on when I would receive the car. I was kept updated on progress all of the time, advising me exactly what the fault was and when the new part would arrive, be fitted and tested, ensuring the fault was resolved very quickly. Whilst my vehicle was being looked at the standard health report identified a cut in the tyre that I was not previously aware of. Niamh carefully discussed this with me and the various tyre options, prices and timescales for ordering and fitting being really helpful and knowledgeable, the level of service I received was exceptional anode an extremely high standard, thanks

Considerable decline in service
I received two text messages in the morning on the day prior to the service, one from Sytner stating that my service was at 09:00 and another from 1Link stating that it was at 07:00. However, when I called Sytner, I was unable to speak to anyone, regardless of which option I selected (sales or service). The only options available were an online form, WhatsApp or requesting a call back. After completing the online form, I didn't receive a call until 16:00. I was advised that they opened at 08:00, so I could drop my vehicle off around that time.
I arrived at 08:30 on the day of the service. The courtesy car wasn't available, as the sales executive had taken it for the evening, so I had to wait. The additional bodywork check I had requested wasn't completed either, and I never received the video report for the service.
Overall, it was not the best experience and considerably worse than any service visit I have had in the last six years.

I called to ask if Sytner had or could source a particular model of vehicle. Daniel found exactly the right car, arranged for it to be transported from Warwick to Nottingham, the following day. It arrive on time, we test drove it and knew immediately it was the right car and placed a deposit. We picked it up 6 days later. It was a hassle free purchase.

Standard 2yr service was excellent but warranty issues not resolved.
First service for a two year old 230i. Standard oil, filter and break fluid change was all done very professionally and the service was great.
The issue I have is that there is moisture in both headlights which is a known problem with this model. I was expecting them to be changed under warranty but was informed that there wasn't enough moisture in them for them to be changed under warranty. As far as I'm concerned there should be no visible water/moisture in any headlight especially on a 2yr old BMW hence the 3 star review.
