This the second time of ordering items from Swax and I think their prices are fair, the postage cost is good value and the items are very well designed and made.
I love this shop. Each time we come to Barmouth I always try and have a look in, even if it's only through the window.

Hi Jemima, we are deeply saddened to read this review. We are always open to criticism and encourage customers to share both positive and negative experiences but on this occasion feel that your review is unfair and incorrect.
Your order was placed online on the 13th of December 2023 at 11.15am and was cancelled and a refund issued on the same day.
You sent an email to us at 13.55pm requesting to cancel the order, which we replied to 4 minutes later at 13:59 to let you know that your order had now been cancelled and the money refunded to your account.
An automated email would also have been sent via our website as a refund notification to yourself at 13:58 on the 13th of December.
Your telephone message was then picked up later the same day but as your request had already been dealt with, we did not return the phone call and trusted that an email would be enough.
So, you did have a response on the same day as you cancelled the order. Your item never left our shop and was cancelled as requested straight away. We also refunded you in full through our website.
If you have not yet received your refund, please get in touch with us via our email and we will investigate with our bank, as you are probably aware the process of refunding back to your account is in the hands of the bank/provider and can take a couple of days to clear. If you would like us to resend any of the emails or notifications mentioned above, please let us know and we will be happy to forward them on to you.

Swax sells beautiful jewellery and are great to deal with. I bought a man’s bracelet from there on line I ordered the wrong size, they changed it with no problem at all and within 3 days the new one was with me . Would definitely use them again.

My jewellery a silver pair of earrings with amber settings turned up tarnished.Very disappointed as I had a ring a few weeks previous that was lovely.
Poor customer focus on sending and now the hassle of returning them .

So sorry to read this poor review, human error can occur and on this instance it did, as per our telephone conversation we apologize for your experience and have agreed to refund all costs including postal costs and apologize again for the inconvenience.
We would not intentionally send out anything that we did not think was 100% satisfactory.
Perhaps it's time to get another eye test and up date my glasses

Thank you, with regards to packaging we send the jewellery out in pouches, wrapped in tissue paper and then boxed in a postal box, this helps keep postage costs to a minimum
