I never write reviews but I feel after our experience I must- After reading a lot of the negative reviews we almost didn’t do this experience but we decided to go and we had the most wonderful day! We travelled all the way from Devon with 4 dogs for a mother daughter (& dogs) photo shoot. (That we bought at crufts!). We arrived early for our appointment so nothing was rushed or stressed. The staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we were well catered for through out the whole day. We were given Prosecco (well actually I think it was Nosecco or something similar as couldn’t taste any alcohol) pretzels/tortilla chips/cheese straws to nibble on. One of the lovely ladies even went out and bought treats especially for our dogs! I absolutely loved my hair and make up. Yes the makeup looks a little much when first done (especially if you haven’t had your hair done yet!!!) but if you spoke to the make up artist you would know you need a lot more then normal because the flash takes 40% off! I went for the smoky eye and she even talked me through every step with a mirror. The hair stylist was great, she advised me on my hair and I loved it. Matteo was a very talented fantastic photographer, took an array of images & captured many natural looking photos. The staff even helped us with the dogs throughout the day, took them out for many ‘comfort breaks’. Afterwards you sit down with, yet again, a really lovely guy who goes through all the images from the day. We didn’t feel pressured at all… we just wish we went with more money in our bank accounts! Packages start at £350 for 5 images & when you see the quality of the work and the staff they allocate to making you look and feel like a star then the pricing makes sense. We found that they actually bent over backwards to get us all the images we wanted at a price that was reasonable for both sides. So all in all … it’s a fantastic experience… memories and photos to last a life time. All the staff went above and beyond. Just make sure you go with at least £350 because they will capture so many images and you WILL want them all! Thank you to all the staff at SW3- we had an amazing day and we will definitely be back.

Nothing made my experience great. I purchased a session to expire end of March 2025. I have tried to book a session and had problems so tried to contact the company several times and they have ignored me. I would like a full refund.

The promised drinks and snacks amounted to some stale crisps and some off fruit juice. The manicure was reduced to a brief hand massage. The make up and hair was alarmingly insanitary and unskilled.
The photographer was charming and professional but unable to undo the frightful makeover. I bought NO pictures. I would not recommend.

From start to finish what a brilliant experience!
I was so nervous about going on my own but was taken care of all afternoon.

My makeup by gabby was absolutely gorgeous and just what I had hoped for. My hair absolutely perfectly styled and was asked many times how I would like it.

The photos were so much fun and the photographer captured so many lovely photos with a genuine smile on my face.

There was no hard pressured sale to buy photos, I brought 10 in the end as I was so happy with all of them.

I’m going to book my mum in for a session.

What a fantastic day , the makeup artist, hair stylist and photograper was simple amazing. Everyone was so friendly and the photos looked stunning they did a fantastic job. Wirh the afternoon tea and drinks on tap what more could you ask for. And to take away the photos to cherish for a lifetime. I would definitely recommend you come here, it's a fun day out with all the staff at the top of there profession. Loved it .

Such a fun day out , service was amazing! The make up artist and hair made me feel a million dollars. I took my mum to celebrate our 40th and 60th year. We had afternoon tea, prosecco as well. Such a lovely experience. The photographer made us feel at ease and help us select our outfits and we was really pleased with the end result, that meant we had beautiful photos as a memory of our experience.

The staff were so friendly starting from the hair to the make up and photographers. The experience was fantastic

Been a fun day. Come knowing what to expect, of course they are going to sell you a package at the end. It's brilliant fun, Gabby the make up girl was a delight and Nile the photographer was easy and made you relaxed. And absolutely smashing photos at the end...hard to choose!

The make up artist and photographers were very nice and helpful. The guy with the photograph selection at the end was also very helpful, as was the reception guy. Nice enjoyable few hours.

This was okay... I was given the hard sell on the street outside my office and eventually bought the experience for me and my friend. We didn't actually get half of the services promised - no mini manicure, no skin preparation.
The hair styling was decent, and the hairdresser and makeup artist were friendly. I would say I bought this in part to get hints as to how to do my makeup, but the makeup artist just seemed befuddled when I asked what she'd used on me. She also seemed to be lacking certain basics: no primer used before foundation was applied, and she didn't have eyelash curlers so my lashes came out clumpy, and I definitely could have done a better job myself.
The photographer was great: really thorough and friendly. The props were a little tacky but there were plenty of places to be photographed.
Our main issue was how expensive the photos were. I'm talking *thousands* of pounds for most of the packages. We felt fairly pressured into buying one of the packages, and there was a communication error as to whether we were getting a discount, or having our deposit deducted from the price. The amount we ended up spending just left us feeling a bit ill and full of regret.
Not a bad day but on balance I wish I'd just kept on walking past the sales rep.

I attended what was advertised as a pamper/well-being day this past January—bought as a gift—and I was extremely disappointed with the experience. The leaflet promised a range of indulgent treatments, including a rose quartz face massage, a facial cleanse, a manicure with gel nail cover, and a hand massage. In reality, none of these were provided. Instead, the “hand massage” consisted of a beautician simply rubbing hand sanitizer on our hands followed by a cheap moisturizer.

The hair styling was another letdown. The same woman who handled the hand treatment also did the hair, using old, dirty styling tools without any heat protection. Despite the leaflet stating that we could choose our desired hairstyle, I was told I could only have “flicky ends” because of my long hair. To make matters worse, she left a noticeable hairband mark and brushed off my concerns by saying it wouldn’t be visible in the photos.

I was also taken aback when the stylist informed me that I needed to speak with the manager because I’d only brought one change of clothes—something that was never mentioned in any of the promotional materials. This felt like an extra ploy to push for additional purchases, especially inconvenient for those of us who travel from afar.

The makeup session, although handled by a friendly artist, ended up being very generic as she used a limited palette, resulting in nearly identical looks for everyone despite individual requests.

The afternoon tea, which was also advertised, turned out to be a major disappointment. It wasn’t served until five and a half hours after our arrival and was provided in the waiting area. The “tea” consisted of just two sandwiches, a small shop-bought scone, and some grapes—far from the indulgent treat promised.

To top it off, we were advised that we had to have pictures taken. After waiting all day, I asked to leave and requested that the additional deposit be refunded since we had no desire to buy the photos due to the horrible service experienced. We were told we had to wait six hours— the maximum duration of the day—or we would lose our deposit. After much disputing with the receptionist, we reluctantly agreed to wait for the six-hour mark to receive our £100 deposit back (bearing in mind that £160 was paid for the original gift). However, when we finally reached the six-hour mark, we were then told that we had to view the photos or we still wouldn’t get our money back. When we spoke to the editor, we were informed that it didn’t matter because they run on a skeleton crew on a Saturday (presumably the busiest day), and that we had to leave, with the refund to be processed at a later date.

This was the worst service I have ever received—an absolute scam from start to finish. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

A good day out, with very lovely staff, but you don’t get everything they promise on the invite! We did get Prosecco (you need to remind them for a top up) our hair and makeup was done nicely and a hand massage too. However, the whole mini manicure and skin prep with quartz stones didn’t happen. The pictures are very expensive with packages starting FROM £400, so be prepared for that! Had they been more reasonable we would have really loved to have bought more than one extra at £50 each.

We had a fantastic day at SW3 - we were made welcome from the moment we arrived and had a lovely cream tea, with sandwiches and cake as well as Prosecco! The hair and make-up stylists were great and the photographer made the whole experience fun. Photos were great and they took time to go through them all with us, gave great feedback and made sure we were happy with our selection. Highly recommend.

The Gallery SW3 is mis-selling what they offer - stating it's a pamper day with a photo at the end, when in fact it's all aimed as pressuring you into purchasing very expensive photos. You are required to bring 4 outfit changes and have multiple photos - very little in terms of 'pampering' and all focused on ensuring you feel obliged to spend £100s on photos. We raised this with them and requested a refund due to being mis-sold the service - they are ignoring our emails and calls. We are still trying to get our money back - it's shameful that they target people at events in this way.

Great team, very friendly and professional. Loved the photo shoot and the results were fabulous. Thank you to The Gallery SW3 for a great afternoon.
