Stratstone - Audi Warrington Omdömen 

Good communication on progress of vehicle when in for servicing / repairs, lovely friendly staff and comfortable waiting area too

Poor sales and overall service and failure to deliver agreements.
I booked my car for service at Audi Warrington with 3 weeks notice for service to take place 15 August. On 14 August I was contacted to say no courtesy car available as this was the normal policy which was both annoying and disappointing considering the amount of time between booking and service date. In addition as part of the purchase agreement I had 2 services which Audi Warrington were not aware of. I had to leave work early to find the paparazzi home as evidence of the agreement which on receipt Audi Warrington accepted. Also as part of the sales agreement I had an extended 2 year warranty which Audi Warrington cannot find. I have forwarded on the emails from June 2025 when I purchased the car and still await feedback from my discussion on 15 August.
Painful process during the purchase in June 2025 with car failed to be delivered on 3 separate occasions owing to Audi internal issue with inter department payments, failure to put on the car transporter and finally failing mot on the day I was in Audi Warrington to collect car.
Overall lack of response disappointment and overall dissatisfaction and feel let down from a premier brand.

I had my Audi S4 if for a charging problem and Matthew Sanderson dealt with my car and from start to finish he kept me informed all the way I even ended up getting an Mot done and a health check so all good. Thank you Matthew and Audi fo taking care of me. 🙏

Ensure a courtesy car is arranged for long enough during the initial booking. The car was originally arranged for the update that was done. There was no surprise work.
Have some larger cars in the courtesy car fleet

I used Stratstone Audi Warrington and had a nightmare where they nearly destroyed my engine by leaving bolts off and allowing oil to flood out. They wouldn't accept any liability although the evidence was compelling and I advised them I would therefore contact the Motor Ombudsman and they remained silent.
After my review I was contacted by Stratstone asking me to go through the same hoops (that had already proved useless) so I advised in writing that I'd already escalated it to the Motor Ombudsman and they also remained silent? After 8 weeks The Motor Ombudsman has written back to me to advise that Stratstone Audi Warrington IS NOT ACCREDITED! And I'm pretty sure they knew that as others must have used the same route. Use Stratton Audi Warrington at your peril, quite an unprofessional organisation all round and you will clearly have no recourse through the Motor Ombudsman!

Complained about a third attempt at a repair that was priced at £7,500 and I had no guarantee it would work despite two previous attempts I had already paid for.

Received a rude and antagonising email back from your Service Manager. Relishing telling a customer that they’re in a no-win situation is inflammatory, needs some serious training.

Didn’t actually fix one of the two issues with the car, central locking is still faulty. Have to return but can’t get an appointment until October.

Went in with query air con issues after a regas the previous week. Matthew was welcoming and efficient. He kept me up to date with the status and then upon completion read out the engineers report. Reception staff were great, welcome with a smile offering coffee/water and happy to assist with phoning for a taxi for me. Matthew, despite having lots of cars booked in never rushed and dealt with my humour with aplomb! He’s an asset & credit to the company.

I would strongly recommend thinking very carefully before buying a vehicle from Stratstone.

In my experience, the customer service was extremely poor, and I felt that agreements made during the purchase process were not honoured. I was also disappointed to discover that the company is no longer a member of the Motor Ombudsman, which influenced my confidence in how my complaint would be handled.

Throughout my dealings with the business, I felt I was met with underhand tactics rather than a genuine effort to resolve the issues. As an individual customer, it felt impossible to challenge a large company with significant legal resources.

Overall, I found the experience frustrating, stressful, and deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying a vehicle from Stratstone and would encourage others to do thorough research before making a purchase

Collected a brand new Audi A5 from Audi Warrington in late March.

In a matter of weeks I’ve experienced drivetrain concerns, suspension noise, starting issues, a faulty wireless charger, and now multiple safety-related warning messages, including a fault affecting the emergency SOS system & airbags. Despite reporting that the vehicle displays safety warnings, I was offered a service appointment almost four weeks away and advised to continue driving it.

The car is clearly not fit for purpose and doesn’t match the quality or functionality I was promised when I bought it. I’ve had to arrange alternative transport, causing significant disruption to my family at a time when relatives are relying on me for essential journeys to and from upcoming surgery.

What has disappointed me most is not just the reliability of the vehicle, but Audi’s response. As a first-time Audi customer, this experience has completely eroded my confidence in both the brand and its customer service.
