Solos Holidays Omdömen 

Just returned from a week in Madiera with Solos . Our guide Scott was amazing nothing too much trouble . I struggled with the amount of high climbing and he helped me when needed and made sure I didn’t get left behind . A perfect gentleman . The hotel was good the building work around not so good and quite noisy around the pool unfortunately also lack of an evening meal in the hotel was not so good .

This Holiday to Puglia was excellent. We visited lots of interesting places and had a very knowledgeable tour guide with us the whole time. I have only given four stars because the hotel was not as good as it could’ve been and the food was not brilliant. However the best thing about Solos holidays is the tour leader, in this case, Michelle, who was always supportive and helpful. It makes going on holiday alone easy because you know there’ll always be someone looking out for you.

Solo are now my 'go to' company of choice. I find the tour leaders, excellent: Carmen in Malta (Christmas), Jane in Alsace (June) and Scott in Madeira (Oct). They all go the extra mile, hunting for cafes, restaurants etc. & provide ideas for free time. Each have been relaxed and good fun but unobtrusively vigilant. So when incidents occurred, were quick to act, taking their responsibilities seriously.
Tour guides have been very good too, including Luana in Madeira.
Obviously people opt for holidays with the variety, pace, free time, etc. that suits. - On my 3 trips: no disappointments.
If picky: evening meals in Malta & Madeira were some times, under par. (Breakfasts were fine.) In Alsace it was nice to try different restaurants for dinner but that was down to Jane's, behind the scenes recce hunting.

I have used Solos for a number of golf holidays over the past few years. They are an excellent company. Administration from head office is outstanding and the app is really helpful. Value for money is also very good. Highly recommended.

Another great tennis holiday led by Mark Atherton. Mark has excellent organisational skills and ensures everyone has a good time.

The itinerary was very well planned and the stops were all very interesting and good quality. Mandy was incredibly kind and helpful and kept us entertained on some of the longer bus journeys! It was also a lovely group and have made some friends for life. The hotels were also well chosen and would definitely return to these in the future. Although there were some long bus journeys this was the fault of the geography rather than the tour so we took it in our stride. We certainly kept ourselves entertained! Will definitely book with Solos in the future as had a brilliant time and made some unforgettable memories!

My first ever trip with Solos was an overwhelming success (despite my initial trepidation).
I joined a walking trip to Hadrian's Wall based in Carlisle. The organisation from initial booking, to personalised WhatsApp group was excellent...We had extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides for our walks and museum visits who really added to the experience. The star of the show was, without doubt, our tour leader Michelle! She put everyone at ease, managed all the practicalities with consummate ease leaving us free to get to know each other. Sitting around our dining table on an evening sharing stories and experiences was a lovely experience.
Very happy to recommend and will definitely be booking again 😁

I have just had an amazing golf break with Solos, it was my first time so I was apprehensive but it exceeded my expectations massively. Jo, our group leader, was excellent and the group I was with were fantastic I would highly recommend Solos 😀

It was my first trip with solo tours and I had a great time. The team leader Lynn Blackmann was fantastic and very helpful. I never felt alone and it made my trip even better. I would definitely use solo tours again.

Met some amazing people on my 2 week trip to the fabulous country of South Korea. The guides Gary and Lucy bought the whole experience to life. For which I will be forever grateful. I definitely will be returning to South Korea. Feels like a second home. Will also be looking at travelling with Solos once again to another far eastern destination. The Solos team helped make my wish come true. I’ve great expectations they will deliver again.

I have been travelling with Solos Holidays for a number of years and found them to be an excellent company. They offer a wide selection of breaks within the UK and abroad to suit all types of interest / hobby. You can fly from your local airport and Solos arrange the transfer to the hotel. Furthermore, I have made lifetime friends on the holidays. The tour leaders are first class and ensure the holiday runs smoothly. I highly recommend Solos Holidays and would encourage anyone to book a holiday with them as you won’t be disappointed.

Mark was an excellent tour guide who allowed each of us to have the holiday we wanted (in my case I'm over worked and just wanted to vegetate for a week). I happily joined the group for lunch and dinner whilst letting them know I'd never join for breakfast. No one had an issue with this, but several others were interested in a walk after breakfast ( or tours), which Mark took them on. Mark really managed the group amazingly, allowing each of us to have the type of experience we wanted (given how many of us and our various preferres, that was incredibly exceptional)

Fabulous location , great hotel and amazing staff .

This was only my second "singles" holiday but the toure leader Mark made me relaxed and made sure I was involved in different activities. He met us for a drink before the evening meal so that we all caught up with our days and went to the restaurant together. When we booked trips, Mark was there making sure our transport arrived and we were in the right place each time. An excellent rep for the trip, a safe pair of hands.

This was my first holiday with Solos first time ever travelling alone, i’m just home yesterday from Tenerife , it was absolutely brilliant, from start to finish, i’d no worries about flights transfers everything was organised and sent on the app , Our Rep Mark was just brilliant in every way , any thing we needed , every question answered, he brought the group together, there was so much laughter and joy on this holiday with a wonderful group of people, great excursions offered also i really look forward to travelling with Solos again ..
