Just returned from 2 weeks at the Angela Studios in Alykanas, Zakynthos.
Location of hotel is near to the beach, harbour and within walking distance of Alykanas' shops, bars & restaurants.
Angela Studios is basic Greek accommodation but clean and well presented in internal & external areas. Breakfast is simple but if you need a more substantial one, there is a great bakery nearby and local restaurants offering a more varied menu.
I travelled with Solos Holidays and the two Tour Leaders, Mark Osland and Bee Appleton were excellent. Both were friendly, approachable, helpful and were happy to go out of their way for members of the group.
A great couple of weeks !!!

I had a great holiday in Crete and then in Santorini.
Both locations were very good and the tour leaders made my experience amazing 🤩

Sailing in Turkey is simply amazing, the views, the swimming, the food, the company - in no particular order. This was the 2nd time I have done this and I absolutely love it.
The living is a tad basic, but if you love swimming, not wearing shoes for a week and belly laughing loads, it’s the perfect holiday for you.
Sarah the TL is so knowledgeable about the area and a great support for anything you need as well as being great fun.
Highly recommended - but not too highly recommended as I definitely want to do it again so don’t all be booking it 🤣

Just returned from the Ancient Wonders and Greek Islands tour with the exceptional Tour Leader Debs , which proved to far exceed my expectations . The quality of every aspect of the holiday was excellent from the hotel locations , standard of accommodation , restaurants chosen , planned excursions , taxis and fun events all included in the itinerary … all superb. But the real Jewel in The Crown was Debs herself, with attention to detail and planning , kindness , enthusiasm and nothing was too much trouble to her , even in the more difficult situations that inevitably arise , Debs dealt with everything that was thrown at her with a smile and professional determination to overcome all problems . Thanks Debs for delivering such a wonderful adventure.

Had a fabulous week at VIK San Antonio Hotel, Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote. You can sit by the pool all day, if you want to, but there are lots of activities in and around the hotel, for those who want to burn-off some of the inevitable extra ‘holiday calories’ from the excellent food. We just had to speak to Mark Atherton, our Tour Leader, who would not only arrange something, e.g. cycling, tennis, padel tennis, mini-golf etc, but join in as well. Great chap

Great holiday experience for anyone who lives alone but wants to share a holiday experience in good company.
Well organised, good locations and brilliant tour leaders who take all the hassle and stress away. Everyone who goes on this kind of holiday is keen to make new friends and welcome the first timer

Just returned from Angela Studios in Zante,was my first Solos holiday and I had a blast! Hotel is good location more or less across the road from the beach, Kelly is lovely and breakfast always freshly prepared. Rooms are nice and clean. It's Solos exclusive so no strangers round the pool!
Gary the four lead is excellent, always posting updates in the WhatsApp group, he organises the meals and trips, we wanted to go wine tasting so he researched it and booked it. He stays in the hotel so joins in a lot with you in the day. For my first holiday I thought the whole experience was great,communication pre going was good, guests were lovely, friendly and up for a laugh and Gary was a fun,enthusiastic tour lead. Thoroughly recommend!!

Just finished my 4th Solos holiday but first to Zakynthos. The Angela Studios were excellent, with the breakfasts provided by the wonderful Kelly. Located within a 5 minute walk to the beach and main shops and bars, making the holiday even better.
The tour lead, Gary Bailey, brought even more enthusiasm and enjoyment to the time away. Always available, ensuring everything ran smoothly, and if you wanted to do something specific, he would see if it was possible.

Just returned from a holiday in Lanzarote. Good hotel on the beach with friendly staff & good food. I haven’t been on a sun holiday with Solos before, I really enjoyed it, great group, we had such a laugh. Mark Atherton the tour leader arranged several activities—padel tennis, bike ride & walks, he made sure we all had a fantastic holiday. A great tour leader.

I have just got back from Lanzarote with Solos. This was my second holiday with this company and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The group I was with was lovely, and Mark, our host was fantastic. He worked out very quickly what he thought we would like and organised numerous activities, which we were free to join in with or not as we wished. Note: This is not a ‘singles’ holiday for people looking for partners, although that could happen. It is for solo travellers who prefer not to eat or go out alone every night. If you’re nervous about travelling alone, want some like minded company, and the reassurance of someone always on hand to assist, this could be for you.

Just had a lovely Liverpool break in a nice central hotel with a great group of friendly people. Our group leader Selma was very skilled at cheerfully managing the trips and activities and went out of her way to make sure everyone was included. It was a pleasure to take part in. The walking tour and coach tour were far beyond my expectations.

Was a fantastic trip Croatia sailing. Very inclusive atmosphere fostered by our solos rep Debbie Michael. No one was left alone unless they wanted to be
Ship was amazing all our needs were catered for. The food was excellent. Swimming stops. Shopping and unbelievable Croatia island destinations
I really enjoyed shopping in market for fruit but no need as food amazing

Just returned from Croatia sailing. My 3rd Solos holiday, but the best by far! Everything was great, the boat, the crew, the food - the food on board was incredible! Daily swim stops in the most beautiful locations. We had an amazing tour leader in Debs Michael. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she looked after us all superbly. Thank you Debs. Absolutely no negatives at all.

Well organised holiday. Knowledgable tour guide. Friendly tour leaders. Overall I enjoyed the whole trip.Selma and Leigh were especially good!!

I've returned from the Angela Studios Holiday in Zakynthos. This is an excellent holiday right next to a lovely sandy beach with water shallow enough to wade out 100 m and still only up your waist. There are loads of bars and restaurants close by and lots of entertainment going on.
Gary Bailey the tour lead and Kelly the studio manager were excellent at looking after the group. Gary made us all feel welcome including organising lots of events beyond the usual excursions. It made for a brilliant holiday.

I have just returned from a weeks holiday to the Iraklis apartments in Crete. This was my first solo trip and it was so much more than I ever could have imagined, I met such an amazing group of people who made the holiday so memorable. The family who ran the hotel were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them as for our tour leader Scott, well what can I say, he went over and above to ensue our holiday ran smoothly and was always there for us. He was happy always laughing and joking a wonderful rep. A wonderful holiday that I will never forget

Just returning from a wonderful holiday sailing down the Croatian coast The boat the food and especially the tour guide Debs Martin were wonderful All were attentive and friendly
We stopped at beautiful little seaside villages and towns on the way and the company of others in a similar situation was warming and supportive

I recently returned from my first Solos holiday at the Iraklis apartments in Crete. From booking through to landing back at Gatwick I cannot fault the information and organisation. I was blessed to be away with a fantastic group of people who started as strangers and are now friends.

Massive thank you to the Iraklis family for their hospitality and hard work. And a big shout out to Scott Jardine for being a brilliant Akela for the week !
