Bit of a let down
Users of Starling Bank need not apply…
Really disappointing experience in that I was approved and accepted the loan offer, but when it came time to enter my BACS details apparently these cannot be verified (despite the automatic validation thingy confirming it was a real bank account and despite my having checked the details a million times.
Customer service was okay but weren’t able to offer any resolution sadly.

Worst customer service
The payments links they sent over the text doesn’t work and I have requested call backs few time and never received a call. Now they are blaming me that I missed payments. I have sent all the screenshots of the errors i got using the link provided by them still they wouldn’t consider that. I have cleared everything and closed the account so that I don’t have any hassle. Even though their payment links doesn’t work they have updated in my credit file that I missed the payment. What a shame. Worst customer service

Customer service a bit lacking
The process of applying is straightforward but there are a couple of negatives for me.
The app frequently doesn’t work and gets stuck on the login screen.
Customer service isn’t great. I used the chat function to try to sort a more complex query about a wheelchair purchase and the agent was really unhelpful. No care for customer service and certainly no going the extra mile to find a solution. Luckily the company where I am purchasing a wheelchair was much more accommodating!
