I cleared my account balance with Snap Finance on 22nd September after speaking with an advisor who confirmed everything was settled. I even received a confirmation email stating my account was fully paid off. Despite this, Snap Finance still took a further payment of £749.50 on 25th September.

I have tried to contact them, but it has been extremely difficult to get a response and today they said they can not help and no one "is available". This is a serious issue — once an account is confirmed as settled, no further money should be taken. I am now chasing them for a refund that should never have been necessary in the first place.

This experience has caused me unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and I cannot recommend Snap Finance based on how poorly this situation has been handled.

Listen when you speak to them, process is quick almost instant.
Deal with quite a few company selling different ranges.

Absolute nightmare. They rob you of all your money. I ve been paying my 70 pounds a month and my balance never went down. Now they threatening me with default. I emailed them numerous times to resolve the issue but its clearly a computer replying so we getting nowhere. Avoid at all cost. You wont get a single pence from me anymore you bunch of thiefs.

These guys have always been there for me when I’ve needed them to finance my mobility needs, my mobility scooter needed replacing and these were my go to to help me

This company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They say contact them if you are struggling to make payments then they refuse to offer any help whatsoever. There communication is non existing. Would avoid this company at all costs

Until today, I would have given 5 stars. Then today, despite my monthly payment having been taken on the 5th September, they couldn't take it. My payment of a missing payment on Thursday 11th September is now also non existant. I tried their text service to find out what is going on. No response. I called them, only to be currently still on hold with an AI generated voice telling me I can press 0 for them to call me back. Given they can't respond to a basic text message, I doubt that the call back, if I chose it would happen. My account is up to date, yet Snap have decided it isn't. I'm not sure anyone actually works there.
**UPDATE 16/09/25**
This has finally been resolved after I spent over an hour on hold before pressing 0 and then waited almost 2 hours for the call back which lasted 40 minutes. Raising to 3 stars as issue was resolved but I shouldn't have had to go through so much stress.

The Snap finance are very helpful, people. I was accepted for finance by them straight away, because I had to purchase a new wheelchair for myself. I had to phone them and ask for my account to be closed and the gentleman that a spoke was lovely, well mannered and was glad to help, a very respectful man. They sent through all of the relevant paperwork straight away as well! I cant think of any faults or issues. I would recommend anyone using this company. Many thanks,

So easy to set up and easy to keep on top of your balance. I paid my loan off early without any penalties which is great and my loan was 0% interest as well. Would recommend to anyone.
