Scam. Looks convincing but upon closer inspection the dates didn't match.

Claimed to have failed to deliver on 8th September even though I was reading the email at 9am on 8th September and had been in the whole time.

Also, the other giveaway was the out of date Twitter logo at the foot of the email

Royal Mail scam email.
Royal mail will not ask you to pay online for underpaid items with an email.
Check their website it says grey cards.

I've had the scam email other reviews are reporting - claiming a parcel from Smart Gift Solutions needs an outstanding amount paid to be delivered and asking me to click a link to make payment. The tracking reference giving is not recognised on the official Royal Mail website. Its my birthday tomorrow and I have been expecting a gift to be delivered so I could easily have fallen for this if I were not so vigilant - hopefully others dont. AVOID paying this scam like the plague. I've reported the scam to Royal Mail.

So scary! Very believable scam from Royal Mail. Has link to actual app within email. I spoke with Royal Mail and they will never ask for payment over a device. They will leave a card showing undelivered item instead. Very believable, and very nearly fell for it!

Much like everyone else here, I’ve received a very convincing email from “royal mail”. The only give away was that the email was ‘noreply’ rather than the official ‘no-reply’. The tracking reference couldn’t be confirmed on the official royal mail app and, upon searching the company, the first result is this scam they’re pulling. Avoid at all costs, stay diligent, don’t pay them anything.

Also received the Royal Mail email saying I needed to pay to have a parcel delivered from them. Tracking number didn’t work so decided to look at the Trust Pilot reviews - thank goodness I did. A VERY convincing scam email.

Never used this company before, however received an email saying that a parcel had been missed delivery. Decided to research the company before opening any links on the email. The tracking number did not exist. Do not open any links on the email and has been reported.

SCAMMERS!! Ignore messages that pretend to be from Royal Mail and asking you to pay to receive your delivery no matter how convincing the email is.

Smart Gift Solutions is a company providing a 'FACE' for scammers masquerading as Royal Mail delivery service. AVOID at all costs and ignore the email/text asking you to pay redelivery charges. Outrageously good copy of Royal Mails legit email/text setup !

Scam. Just got the email from them mascarading as Royal Mail. Please avoid.

SCAM!! Ordered from smart gift solutions for my daughters 18th was supposed to be delivered yesterday the 16th July but hasn't arrived & hasn't got bk to my email !!
Edited, I received my parcel a day late but it did arrive so thank you 😊

Avoid at all costs. If you are unsure about this then you can always use the official royal mail website and use the tracking number.

I dont know how they are getting away with this, but please if you are reading this, delete the email and block it.

I bought a gift for my friend in hospital through their webshop. I paid extra for next day delivery. I got a track and trace code. And as the next day rolled by, i noticed it wasn't even scanned in yet. After the weekend i got in contact and was told there was an error in sending and it went to the wrong distribution center. They've offered a refund, but have since not gotten back to me. They've stopped responding to emails, the package is still not scanned in.

Edit/Update: They did get back to me, with a new tracking code. And it was painlessly delivered this morning, without further issue. In hindsight it seems uk parcel service was at fault here, not the shop owner. They have been nice, and melanie has been very helpful.

This website is 100% a front for
criminals and part of a sophistacted fraud, like many people here received an email from "Royal Mail" asking for parcel payment, very convincing and good email address that looks legit, though its a fake tracking number, only when looking for the website to check further did I come across all these comments. Normally I just report and delete these emails but as its my daughters birthday soon, it was good timing by these thieves and that's how they get you. Don't click on the links, report the emails to Royal Mail and report@ phishing.gov.uk and one day hopefully they will share a cell with other criminals.
