I recently ordered some protective pads from SkateHut, but unfortunately they turned out to be too small.

I contacted the SkateHut customer service team and spoke with Meg, who was incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. She clearly explained how I could return the items and made the whole process so easy and straightforward.

Can’t fault at all. I don’t agree with giving lower stars if couriers were bad, at the end of the day it’s not the shops fault.
HOWEVER. The courier was brilliant in my case.
Super easy to order. Quick dispatch followed by plenty of emails updating me on how the shipment was going & quick delivery. 100% recommend.
All I would suggest, is something over the manufacturers box. The item I bought was for my husband as a birthday gift & I had to quickly grab the box and hide it!

I had ordered Roller boots for my daughter which were far too narrow. Sadly I had to return the boots. Meg at Skatehut was very helpful with my query via email. Thanks again.

The scooter is really good but what made the experience even better is the delivery company wasn’t the best but because of Meg and Molly helping there best on the emails we got the scooter as quick as possible those two people where amazing and with out them I don’t think it would of arrived for a while so they definitely are the reason I am doing a good review.

Great customer service from Meg. We had a problem with our order when it arrived, but Meg quickly gave us several options to resolve the problem and was quick to respond to all our questions. Needless to say, it was all sorted very quickly and smoothly. Thank you!

Paying extra for faster delivery is a joke, dont bother ive done it multiple times it has not once turned up on time. Grip tape started to peel off quite badly after 2 hours of first use which they said was due to hot weather, i dont think it was sanded down properly, i am new to skating so i wasnt aware, but i speak to other skaters. Over all quite dissapointed with skatehut, very frustrating dealing with meg better off supporting your local skate shop rather than back and forth online getting nowhere

Meg (and the build team) were quick to respond and help us sort out questions we had about our son's custom build. He'd used his birthday money to buy a couple of parts to replace the originals on his relatively cheap entry level scooter - and it just wasn't fitting as it should. We've not got much experience of scooters and so needed help to work out what was going wrong. Meg was quick to respond and very helpful. She and the build team helped us solve the problem. The video they shared was particularly useful - and they shared exactly which part we needed to solve our issues. NB this was in stark contrast to the poor service we have previously received at Skates when asking for advice. Will definitely be shopping from Skatehut in future and recommending to others.

Meg was an excellent help in assessing the warranty and offering a gift voucher. It’s a shame that Core’s overpriced titanium handle bars are not fit for purpose or their price tag. This is reflected in their own lack of warranty (30 days). They need to be honest with themselves and their customers about the quality of their manufacturing. The kids who buy and use the products in skateparks don’t have much money and they are being ripped off by over-priced, over-marketed and sub-standard products.

Meg offered speedy replies to my query. Communicated really well and resolved my issue.

I know nothing about skateboarding but Meg was patient and not condescending. I appreciate the advice and products I received and will definitely be doing a return visit.
