Hi, I order three dresses from the store online and I must say that I loved them! I go to church every sunday and this store has such great/modest dresses :)

Delivery service: arrived pretty fast to Melbourne Australia;
Order: The sizes were correct, very accurate, perfect fit ( I got S);
Quality: The fabrique is very comfy and good.

I couldn't be happier, definitely ordering more in the future!

Still haven't received a refund about three weeks after the return. Quality is mediocre, too. Stay away.

I’m in love with this brand and been wearing simpleretro for about three years now🤍 all my summer and winter outfits are from this brand.

They don't pay for return shipping, even though the error is on their end. I won't be placing any more orders with this company. Also, their clothing is quite overpriced.

Le colissimo est bien arrivé sur le site le 20 juin , et à ce jour ,malgré plusieurs mails de relance, je n’ai reçu aucun remboursement ( 180€ quand même )

I love every piece of clothing I have from the brand. It arrived rather quickly and the fabrics and fittings are just perfect ✨

Dresses are beautiful, with great prints and patterns l, and the quality is very hight.

I placed an order (my third) and it didn’t ship for two weeks or so so I contacted them to ask the status and they assured me it was being taken care of. Still no progress and this time when I contacted them, they said they were no longer shipping to Japan! No mention of a refund. Now I’ve been contacting them about my refund (nearly $200) for several weeks and they just keep assuring me that they’re working on it! The whole company seems like a scam.

This is not a legitimate business.
I received a dress for my birthday in early June I emailed them by the next day to report that it had a rip in it--this rip was a part of the dress when it was shipped.
They do not have a customer service phone number. That should be a red alert. They have one person, Ruth, who occasionally answers email.
They have twice admitted that the damage was their fault--that took a month. It is now 7/8 and I have not been sent information on how to ship it back to them. How to get a credit for the dress. I was told tonight that they cannot provide a shipping label because they will not cover return shipping--yes, even if the error is theirs.
This is not a legitimate business. Go anywhere else.

Lately, I've noticed that cotton clothing and textiles are becoming increasingly scarce in Japanese stores. Even my favorite local brands, where I bought my main wardrobe, have increasingly started stocking items made of synthetics or cotton-blend fabrics.
So, I was pleasantly surprised by the dresses from simpleretro. They're beautiful, elegant, and, most importantly, made of a very soft cotton fabric that feels great on the skin. I really liked them.

I'm really satisfied with my orders. I've been ordering from the Simpleretro website for several years, and it's become my favorite online store. The first thing that struck me was the vintage and retro style of the garments. You'll find tons of dresses, skirts, and shirts in excellent quality fabrics and a variety of patterns...my favorites are floral and lace. Shipping is also very fast and accurate! I recommend trying them.🩷🩷🩷🩷

Dopo aver comprato vari pezzi con diverse spedizioni, penso di poter lasciare una recensione utile, poiché credo di aver capito il motivo per cui le recensioni sono o entusiaste o estremamente negative. Premetto che ho comprato esclusivamente dal sito originale e che non ho mai effettuato resi, anche perché viene richiesto di rispedire in Cina a carico dell'acquirente.
Secondo me, le recensioni negative sono riguardo ad acquisti fatti nella sezione "final sale": effettivamente anch'io ho avuto qualche delusione, come una giacca con una manica più lunga dell'altra o un vestito con fodera in poliestere, anziché 100% cotone. All'inizio ho pensato si trattasse di rimanenze di abiti precedentemente venduti a prezzo pieno e di resi, come un vestito bianco che è molto più trasparente che nella foto. Ma quello stesso vestito che prima era "final sale" lo vedo ora venduto a prezzo pieno. Mi sono fatta l'idea che esistano due linee di produzione diverse, con sarte diverse e in luoghi diversi (i vestiti in "final sale" arrivano prima), e che i vestiti a prezzo scontato siano prototipi, prove di lavorazione, che non vengono venduti a prezzo pieno perché difettati in partenza. Consiglio, per risparmiare, di aspettare le numerose promozioni che arrivano con le ricorrenze (S. Valentino, etc.). Calcolando che ai prezzi esposti va aggiunto il 20% dell'IVA italiana, comprerei solo capi tra i "nuovi arrivi" quando c'è lo sconto almeno del 20%. Per il resto, 4 stelle perché i capi sono di ottima fattura e c'è tutto un sistema di fidelizzazione che consente di risparmiare. Attenzione alle taglie, perché questa ditta veste principalmente donne abbastanza bassine (per capirsi, la L è sì più larga della S, ma è quasi corta uguale).

Simple retro is a lovely brand that has affordable clothing. I have several of their cotton dresses and they are lightweight and comfortable!

The dress is feminine, comfortable, and feels very natural to wear.

The size L was tiny and was equivalent to a XS or Sz 8.
They wouldn't accept return as it was a sale item.
What a waste of my money!

I love SimpleRetro's aesthetic, but I believe there's a great opportunity to broaden its appeal. By prioritizing premium fabric textures and a more minimalist design approach, the brand could easily transition from "youthful French chic" to a more sophisticated, ageless elegance. Investing in material quality will truly unlock the potential of these beautiful silhouettes.

Every peice I received was truly high quality and beautiful- I also had a fantastic experience with costumer service, which to me, means so much! I highly recommend based on the stunning look of their clothing but also supporting a brand that cares for their customers. Thank you!

Great price vs quality ratio. The designs are truly unique, it’s hard to choose between all the beautiful options! If you love vintage style, this is the brand for you. I got 2 cotton dresses for summer and was pleasantly surprised, the quality, the flattering cuts… Can definitely recommend!
