I’m very disappointed with how SimpleRetro handled my order. Based on my experience, I believe this promotion was misleading and amounted to false advertising.

As part of their 10th anniversary promotion, Simple Retro advertised free promotional gifts with qualifying orders. During checkout, I was able to select the 3D Rose Bag and Floral Scarf as free gifts. Both gifts were also clearly listed in my order confirmation email, so I had every reason to believe they were included in my order.

However, the gifts were later removed from my order without my consent or any notification. What is especially frustrating is that Simple Retro never explained why the gifts were removed.

I contacted the seller to ask about the missing promotional gifts and tried to resolve the issue directly, but they never provided an actual resolution.

The issue is not simply about the value of two free gifts. The problem is that the promotion was advertised, the gifts were available for me to select, and they were included in my confirmed order. Then they were removed afterward without any explanation.

I believe this is misleading and unfair to customers. If a promotional offer is not going to be honored, customers should be clearly informed instead of having the promised gifts quietly removed from their confirmed orders.

I’m sharing my experience so other customers can be aware of how promotional offers may be handled before placing an order.

J'ai commandé une robe et un chemisier de la même taille. Le chemisier va parfaitement. Quant à la robe elle est au moins 2 tailles en dessous de celle indiquée. J'ai donc retourné la robe à mes frais (une vingtaine d'euros) et je n'ai à ce jour reçu aucun remboursement alors que le colis a bien été réceptionné. C'est la seule et dernière fois que je commande sur ce site. A fuir ! J'ai perdu avec les frais près de 150 euros...

Returned an order and even paid for the shipping label through Simple Retro. I can see through tracking that they received the return two months ago. I reached out to customer service twice and the only response was that they would provide an update when they had one. I have yet to receive my refund and do not feel hopeful.

Simple Retro is definitely a brand I would recommend if you love feminine and vintage-inspired fashion. Everything is simply gorgeous!

Very disappointing experience. One of the dresses I ordered arrived with dark spots on the fabric and long loose threads near the zipper. I sent several photos, but my case stayed under review for weeks.

The dress was around CAD $150, and even for a defective item I would have to pay to ship it back from Canada to the U.S. In the end, they suggested I wash the brand-new dress because the spots might be mold.

For this price, I expected much better quality and customer service. I won’t order from Simple Retro again.

I was pleasantly surprised that the delivery took only a week. The quality of the dress is truly wonderful: all the seams, the lace, and every little detail are beautifully finished and very well made. I also really liked both the fabric and the design.

This is one of those rare cases when the item looks exactly the same in real life as it does in the photos. There was no “expectation vs. reality” disappointment at all — I received exactly what I expected.

I noticed that quite a few people had mentioned sizing in their reviews, so before ordering I carefully checked the size chart and took my measurements. The size I chose fit me well, and overall I have absolutely no complaints.

Wrong size sent, Simple Retro still insisted I pay postage. It's to a Chinese warehouse in Spain too, so the return was going to cost me over £13 and I had little confidence that I would ever get a refund. I'll sell on the item instead! I won't be using them again.

I have a few pieces from them now and was shocked by the quality. Really lovely at the price point! They definitely run small, but they are absolutely worth it.

Love the high level quality of fabrics, the designs. Every time I wear clothes from them I get appreciation and compliments. The orders arrived in time and I never have had problems with the sizes. All their collections have somethings unique and I love this.
