Professional and friendly service

Professional and friendly service. Luggage had arrived at hotel before the group - they were thrilled. Seamless process. Made a group’s train travel much more comfortable and hassle free, not having to worry about their luggage.

Amazing service

I am truly satisfied with the Sherpr service.
They are always smooth, and on time for the delivery. I highly recommend this company.
They reply promptly and always informing about the updates during the entire service and transportation.

⚠️ Do NOT use Sherpr (or FedEx via Sherpr) if you value your belongings.

I booked 9 boxes London → Paris. From the very start this has been a nightmare:
• Sherpr failed to communicate my delivery window, so FedEx tried to deliver before I was even in the country.
• FedEx only attempted delivery once (their own policy says 3 attempts), then declared my shipment undeliverable and started sending it back to an empty London address.
• Deliveries were later split up, one box at a time, dropped at 8am to a contact battling cancer, who could neither lift them nor be expected to answer the door at that hour.
• Boxes arrived destroyed despite being the recommended type.
• My paintings were smashed, and one is outright missing — the box had been opened, the pillowcase still inside, but the painting gone.
• A FedEx courier slammed a box on the floor, scratching the recipient’s flooring.
• Customer service from both Sherpr & FedEx has been evasive, unhelpful, and at times simply nonexistent.

This isn’t a minor inconvenience — this is gross negligence. My belongings are ruined or missing, I’ve wasted weeks chasing them, and Sherpr tries to hide behind a £1,200 liability cap.

If you’re moving or shipping, avoid Sherpr and FedEx. They have been the worst service I’ve ever dealt with — no care, no accountability, no respect for customers

The customer service team (Marie) was excellent despite onboarding issues

The customer service team (Marie) was stellar. Unfortunately the lead up to actual shipment pick up as not. I had a commercial order. This requires different customs treatmant, required forms, etc.. Although I was very clear on my business needs the order was booked as personal and I had a final day, 3 hour chat with customer service to correct all my needed paperwork to ensure timely pickup. Ultimately, I got my order in only about 5 days MX to US)

Inconvenient, poor service, delayed

Shepr failed to provide us with the correct labels, which resulted in our luggage going missing. When it was located the company initially tried to blame us, then conceded fault but did nothing to make up for their error.

We did everything according to their instructions including purchasing cable ties for the labels.

They suggested we should have notified them when we realised labels were missing, but as first time users of this service we had no way of knowing whether something was missing. We downloaded the labels provided to us.

What is supposed to be a convenient service was deeply inconvenient, including long online chats and no possibility to talk to a human on the phone.

I will never use this service again and recommend you try different suppliers if you want a courier service.

I've reviewed the process here, and can see our team did everything they could to track down your missing bag and escalated this within Fedex at the highest level, ensuring the search did not end until your item was correctly located and delivered via private courier to its next destination.

Again, I'm incredibly sorry for the inconvenience here but I'm delighted that your item is now with you. Our team did work relentlessly on getting this item recovered and delivered to you, and I believe they've been in touch.

Very dishonest, expensive hidden costs

Sherpr do not provide you with correct details before using their services. They partner with FedEx, a company that I (and I’m sure many others) have had terrible experiences with. FedEx charge extortionate disbursement fees, sometimes over 300%. While speaking with the Sherpr agent, I was assured that if I submitted the correct documentation, that all customs fees would be waived. I’ve had experience with FedEx disbursement fees in the past so I asked if there was any possibility of high charges and gave an example of £100. I Was assured that even if the correct documentation wasn’t submitted that this type of fee would be impossible and was given examples of customers who have only had to pay £20-£50.
I submitted all of the correct documentation, something that has even been confirmed in emails with sherpr. After my boxes arrived (destroyed and open with some valuable items missing) I received I £250 bill from FedEx (£50 customs fees and £200 disbursement fees from FedEx). After speaking with sherpr they assured me that I had correctly submitted all of the necessary documentation and to hold off while they investigate the situation. This was months ago and I never heard anything back from them so I assumed the situation had been solved. I am now receiving threatening letters from debt collectors about the payment and will have to pay the full amount plus added fees from the debt collection agency.
I would not recommend Sherpr and believe that their agents are very dishonest when initially trying to sign you up to their service.

I had the worst experience with Sherp…

I had the worst experience with Sherp moving from EU to the UK. My packages took almost a month to arrive because they could not sort out customs which they blamed on “third party”, so for the whole time I didn’t even have an ETA of the packages. On top of that they overcharged me after the delivery for “miscellaneous”- in addition to extra weight charges. I have been sending emails repeatedly to request information or refund to which no one responds. Last but not the least- my items go damaged during the transport and I had full insurance coverage. I sent pictures of the damage to the team, again met with no response.

The team is highly unprofessional, does not provide resolutions to issues related to insurance and overcharging. There is no guarantee when the items will arrive or even if they’ll arrive safely.

Moving out to another country - Great price and good communication!

I moved to London with Sherpr and all went well. It was the best price I could find to send a couple of boxes and they offered clear guidance for the whole process. I appreciated it very much. Also, very reassuring to be able to speak to someone in case of need via the Chatbox on their website. I do recommend!

Note to readers 03/08/25: Shepr aggressively attempts to remove any negative reviews. They have attempted to remove this review 5 times so far.
Unfortunately they are far less vigorous when having to carry out the service they are paid for.

Shepr lost my property and did their utmost to fob me off when I wanted my property back or the insurance paid out that I had also paid for.
They have ignored me for over 2 months now.
They have no working phones, which initially was explained by their system being upgraded. However it is not possible to contact Shepr via phone for the entire period of this travesty.

To add insult to injury they have now also send me a bill for overweight penalties for the items they have not delivered.
The absurdity is unending.

If you have any doubt about this company being fraudulent - try calling their phone lines.

I can see that you are very confused about the whole sequence of events and I think it would be better if you stuck to the truth:
You have lost a piece of my property that I have paid you to transport and to insure. After trying to get you to recognise this for two months there was no progress and your team of _name redacted by Shepr_ and _name redacted by Shepr_ were unwilling to help in any way other than to continuously try and fob my off with more and more outlandish explanations.

I am also sorry that you apparently think that you have contacted me over the phone several times.
I am afraid that is not the case.
Your phones are permanently out of service due to being "upgraded" as you told me.
After requesting a call back over 10 times I finally got a response.

It is sad that you didn't want to help me before I told you that the case would be referred to the police and your conduct made public here.

I am hoping you will now rectify the atrocious service you have delivered and resolve the case.

Please don't attempt to remove my review again or post further fictitious accounts of how you have behaved.
I have saved all the emails I have send you, so there is no point in you trying to cover up what you have done.
The paper trail is there I am afraid.

I look forward to receiving a professional service going foraward.
Since you have now finally replied, I hope this sad situation is down to incompetance rather than fraud. However, until I see some long overdue progress and professional treatment, that will remain a question mark I am afraid.
Secondly the penalty fees you send me for oversized and overweight items are based on purely factious claims and I again am sorry to let you know that I have photo documentation to prove this. What you want to call this kind of behaviour from you side I will leave open.

Thank you again for taking the time to leave feedback. I'd like to begin by stating your previous review was removed by Trustpilot for breaching their code of conduct. Unfortunately, it was flagged numerous times for different violations of Trustpilot's code which ultimately led to its removal, rather than Sherpr simply trying to have your review removed five times. In order to keep a review online, it must not breach their guidelines in terms of defamation, personal information and libel, all of which are taken very seriously.

Again, I'm incredibly sorry to hear that your experience was less than satisfactory, however we do not recognise the claims made here.
You claim Sherpr has ignored you for over two months, yet the last recorded communication with yourself was on August 4th when we asked you for your claim details. Before this, it was 29th July and there is a lengthy history of communication between yourself and Sherpr.

You also claimed that our phone lines are unaccessible, and that this means our business is fraudulent - we have spoken to you over the phone several times, and can be contacted during working hours on the phone numbers listed on our website as well as the email address provided.

With regards to the recharge issued to you, this was done in line with our terms and conditions due to weights and dimensions being larger than those submitted at the time of booking. These terms and conditions are clear and available on our website, and must be agreed to at the time of booking, before payment. We explained the reason for the recharge issued to you and indeed promised we would look into this with the courier for you.

You have continually claimed Sherpr is not attempting to help you, and stated that we have "fobbed you off" regarding the insurance you have paid for. Again, this is not the case. Sherpr informed you that the search for your lost property was unsuccessful and had moved this to a claim for you, informing you of what was required to submit said claim. As of today, we are still yet to receive any information from you regarding your claim, hindering us from moving forward and stalling the process.

Again, we sincerely apologise for the frustration and the issues involved with your shipment, however our phone lines are indeed accessible and in working order, and we vehemently refute any association with "fraud." We are still committed to pursuing a claim for you, and would greatly appreciate if you could return the information required to proceed with this, so we can indeed resolve the outstanding issues for you.
