My husband found this company on the internet and we decided to get a quote from them for a family member's car. The process was easy to follow and I spoke with Stewart on the phone. He was extremely helpful and once a price was agreed I asked if car could be collected due to no tax or insurance and he arranged a time that was convenient for us the following day. They arrived at the given time, checked car over, checked the paperwork, uploaded paperwork and ID for verification and then payment was made to our account instantly. Excellent service and would highly recommend. We would definitely use this company again should the need arise.

Left a nasty taste in my mouth… and it wasn’t the tea…
Mike at Leicester was very nice but I get the feeling he was looking for reasons to knock money off the valuation to be honest. On a 6 year old Aygo with 133k miles on the clock- yeah, I know it’s not perfect. Mechanically it’s sound- last two MOT’s no advisories at all- and to give him his dues he held his hands up and admitted he couldn’t find fault in how it drove which I get the feeling he was a bit disappointed at…
I knew it had a short MOT and came prepared for it to have money knocked off for that. However he turned around and said it needs a full repaint? I don’t think so. Furthermore there was an issue with the V5 so another 500 was withheld until we get a new one- this was particularly galling as it was an issue with the DVLA and the tax class on it changing to disabled so it’s almost like we were being penalised for being disabled- something which I note has also happened to someone else. We were assured that as soon as the new V5 is dropped in that we’ll get the £500 straight away but I’m not holding my breath. However if we don’t I will absolutely not hesitate to issue a court claim because frankly at the end of it we came out with only marginally over scrap value for it which is absolutely scandalous. It has a full Toyota main dealer service history- only one service was missing- and Mike admitted one keeper from pre-reg was ‘ideal’
I did tell him the price offered was insulting and that we were only accepting because we have a beautiful brand new and very big Ford Puma and the Aygo was blocking our driveway meaning we couldn’t park the Puma properly. He then upped the price to 1800 of which we currently only have 1300 of and as I said I’m sceptical we’ll see the other 500 of any time soon.
Thankfully we now have a Motability car so we won’t need to use your services again and I’m quite glad as the whole thing has left quite a nasty taste in my mouth.

Our pricing is based on a combination of current market conditions, vehicle age, mileage, condition, and resale considerations. While we appreciate that your Aygo had a strong service history and drove well, factors such as cosmetic condition, MOT length and documentation can all impact the final offer. These adjustments are standard across all vehicles to ensure consistency and fairness.
Regarding the V5 matter, we want to reassure you that this is not a penalty, nor is it related in any way to personal circumstances. Where documentation is outstanding or requires updating, a holding amount is applied purely as a safeguard until everything is correctly in place. As advised, once the updated V5 is received, the remaining balance will be released promptly - this is displayed on your invoice.
We understand that selling a vehicle can be frustrating, particularly when expectations differ from the final valuation, but we do aim to be transparent throughout the process and explain any adjustments made.

2021 BMW 3 series 330e
It started great and then there was a lot of confusion on if they could or couldn’t get me fitted in. Finally they did agree to stick to original timings.
Initially went to the wrong address which meant I had to go out to find him.
Tried to knock the price down by £1000 pound which after some back and forth we agreed on £400.
I don’t get the green slip from V5 which I should have but it wasn’t offered. I have had no follow up to confirm the finance has been paid off nearly 2 weeks later.
And he left the car he came in over my drive blocking us in all weekend until I could hold of the office and ask someone to collect the car that was abandoned which was meant to be collected in 30 minutes and the response I got was “ well we are very busy”
I’m happy the car is gone and it was quick but they need to work on details.

The confusion around scheduling, the incorrect address, and the delay in collecting our driver’s vehicle are not the level of service we aim to provide. We understand how frustrating and inconvenient this must have been, particularly being blocked in over the weekend, and we sincerely apologise for that.
Regarding the change in price, our valuations can sometimes be adjusted following an in person inspection; however, we appreciate that a significant difference can be disappointing.
In relation to the vehicle paperwork, you should have received email confirmation that the vehicle was placed into the motor trade. We apologise if this was not clear or if you have not received this, and we would be happy to resend the confirmation if needed.
Your feedback highlights several areas where we need to improve, especially around coordination, communication. We will be addressing this internally to ensure a better experience for future customers.
