Selecta took over Express Vending which is when everything started going wrong.

Their contract terms are designed to completely screw over the customer even after years of partnership. Forget trying to cancel anything or getting them to repair anything in a timely fashion. Their ethos is entirely usurious and approach to business is appalling, yet no-one senior seems to give a damn. They just don’t care.

Selecta is a DISGRACE. Their contract terms and conditions should be challenged at every opportunity in the courts and charges disputed until they realise it is NOT the way to treat customers or to behave in business, but all indications thus far suggest they simply don’t give a damn. Perhaps Trading Standard should investigate.

Awful company. Seriously 1 star is far too generous. This company acquired Express Vending based in Hemel Hemstead who were 5 Star in every way. The management and CEO have no clue and no care about the customers. Disgusted company, disgusting service. They will not
Refund you, provide any service and care in any way. Old vending machines full of Out of Date food and drink, seriously BRING IN YOUR OWN LUNCH TO WORK

I cannot recommend the guys enough at Selecta Rugby branch! Robbie was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, honest and professional. Dean also helped me by sourcing the information of a part I needed that they don’t even fix! Both guys went above and beyond their duties! Thank you so much! I would highly recommend Selecta Rugby branch!

Tried purchasing a bottle of coke for £1.90 from a machine in Southampton university, machine number 1059518 and even though it took payment by phone, nothing vended. Called the help line and was asked if I wanted a refund. I was told I had to supply an e mail address and fill out a form to receive refund. TBH life is too short. I do though wonder how many other people can’t be bothered for £1.90 and line Selecta’s pockets with free cash?.

1 star is too much for this company. They are a shambles. We cancelled our contract with them 5 months ago and asked for a pick up of the water machine and bottles. After numerous letters, emails and phone calls, they are still invoicing us and haven't picked up the equipment stating that " It is due to Health and Safety rules!! Its been 5 months!!
My advice.....don't use them.

Would give zero stars but can’t. Tried just getting a chocolate bar - £1.30!! And it didn’t drop. I was expecting the machine to realise it didn’t dispense anything and then not charge me. But no, it just carries on having taken my money. Outrageous. Yes it’s only £1.30, but it’s the principal! What an awful company, I wish I’d read all of these other reviews before using one of their machines. Total scam. I’m just going to chalk up a loss and never use them again. Disgusting antics.

Just seen my bank statement says £1 used nya selecta ltd Aberystwyth GB....... I live in Portsmouth what the hell.....

Avoid at all costs,

Put my money in got no credit to get my chocolate bar. Thought no problem I'll just press the refund button to get my money back, didn't work. So my money had been swallowed by the machine but the machine said I hadn't put anything in so it just stole cash from me. It's at a train station so ask staff around about it and they say they can't do anything about it and that I need to ring the number on it. Ring the number and it's not recognised. In the end I had to leave for my train. Absolute scam with no easy way to get your money never use selecta vending machines. Selecta If you are reading this you NEED to fix the vending machines at Cheltenham spa station.

Selecta got £10 off my Bank account for an £1.05 bag of Cheese crackers.

Please do not use Selecta vending machines. If it was possible to give them a zero star rating I would. I bought 2 items from their vending machine 2 weeks ago, only one item came out. This is not the first time this has happened. I emailed them and got sent the longest form ever with 17 questions for a bottle of coke. Two weeks later they are telling me to send bank statements because their finance department can't find the transaction. This is nonesense, I shouldn't have to ring this amount of times to chase up a refund. Please avoid their vending machines

Prices very high.
Not certain how they are allowed to continue trading given their shocking incompetence and faulty accounting systems.

This company are appallingly.
You can try for a refund, he prepared to waist 2 hours of your life, filling in forms, providing payment details. Then expect them to request more details. Just boycotting them from now on. I'd rather walk on for 10 minutes, pay 30% less.

Selecta is the worst supplier that I have ever encountered during my business life. Their customer service is non-existent, their account management is non-existent, delivery of services is very poor and haphazard and their pricing extortionate. They are: quick to invoice, slow to resolve issues and their default position is to do nothing. Avoid this supplier.

Used one of their vending machines, paid for my item which did not dispense. Contacted their customer service several times and filled out the form around a month ago. Nothing heard back

Vending machines dispensing extortionately price confectionary at Coventry train station now have the ordasity to charge for items not dispensed 😔

Used one of their machines in Wythenshawe hospital. Tried to use contactless payment but the machine struggled and then declined. Payed by cash in the end only to find the contactless payment on my bank statement-total robbery. DO NOT USE

Never buy from vending machines. Total rip-off. Stay away. Took my money but failed to dispense what I ordered. When you call they give you incorrect information for processing the refund claim.

These guys take payments out multiple times, buy a coke? get charged 4 times. Frequent behavior. Either they are incompetent or improper, or both. Do not use machines run by them. Do not use machines installed by them.
