Expensive for a start off. Then, when you've paid for your item, it chucks an error, only dispenses one item and that item is wrong. Try and call and the office is shut at not even 5pm.

Update 16/11 - I contacted them 2 weeks ago for a refund through their online 'request your refund form' and not heard anything back.

Cowboy company.

Used selecta vending machine at Shrewsbury train station, took my money but did not give me any product, I rang the number on the machine and the bloke was useless and gave me a wrong email to contact for my refund and everyone I Google a way to contact selecta, I can’t find a customer service number, it’s like they don’t want people to contact them and complain

BOUGHT A CAN OF DRINK AND IT WAS 2 MONTHS OUT OF DATE.

Used a vending machine at Premier Inn. Card debited but nothing delivered. Submitted a claim but no response. These people a ripoff merchants. Do not use.

Update: Got a refund from my credit card company. Select totally ignored me.

Why did your machine at Paris De Gaulle airport near K48 got my money and never provided the product? Is there any platform that I can reach for refund? What type of company are you all your website is based on B2B?!

Paid for coffee at Liverpool South Parkway. No drink dispensed but card still debited. I wish I’d read these reviews before wasting my time/money. Merseyrail should remove these machines as they’re not fit for purpose. You’ve been warned.

I hope you're reading Trust Pilot as due diligence before you choose to use this company. DO NOT USE, they are horrendous to deal with in every aspect.

SCAM! Avoid these machines at all costs. Selecta are daylight robbers charging you for items it will not dispense. No way of contacting them and it seems to happen to lots of people, so they are clearly not too worried and enjoying that extra income. Criminal white collar thieves.

Unable to get a refund for a coffee that came out with bits in it. Only a number to call which no one answers. I ordered a latte, looked like a black coffee with 3 drops of milk and 4 lumps of floating debris. Disgusting.

Used a selecta vending machine in a hospital this week, had to pay twice for one product as it wouldn’t drop, got 1 product paid 2wice total scam

Total rip off.if I would give no stars I would. I used a coffee vending machine in the Leicester Glenfield hospital with my payment card and it didn't give me the drink. I tried again with another card as I thought it may have been the card and same happened. When I checked my statement they had charged me £1.70 each time. This company should be closed down. If I robbed someone I would be done for it. By the look of some of the reviews it's happening a lot.

If you ever see these vending machines, don’t buy anything at them. Waited 5 mins thinking machine frozen just to get scammed

DO NOT USE SELECTA’S vending machines. Took my money. Was given no products. Out of principle I’ve been trying to get my money back since the beginning of May and it’s now August.
Total scam. Customer service appalling. They deserve to go out of business.

Absolute scam. The Selecra vending machine in Kastrup Airport took 90 DKK for 2 items and never vended them. No customer support, no receipt. No food. It's 10PM and nothing is open. I've been flying all day. I literally will not stop until i get this refund clearly this is a known issue. Unreal. It's a vending machine, not rocket science.

DO NOT BUY from SELECTA SMART MACHINES. Honestly the worse service. Took £12 for 2 items. Should have added up to less than £5. Disgusting service. No reciept. Or customer service contact number. This is the second time I’ve used it at East Croydon station. I won’t make that mistake again.

I was at a train station in Manchester at the weekend with my 9yr old daughter who wanted a bar of chocolate and a drink for the journey home to Preston so bought her a bottle of orange and a Mars bar but had to be thrown away due to the drink being 2& a half YEARS out of date and the Mars bar was white to say I was disgusted is an under statement my daughter could have been made very ill due toe negligence if this so called BIG company never again will I purchase anything from your machines MANAGEMENT GET A GRIP

Just lost a couple of quid for a chocolate bar that didn't dispense. Presumably amounts are small enough that nobody can be bothered to fight for a refund.

Robbed by vending machine in warwick hospital. Same as many other people below, ordered one drink and got changed 4 times as it said card not accepted.

Going through the other reviews I’m not even going to waste my time trying to get refunded.
