Stay away from these machines in budget hotels, ripped me off and this company apparently don't allow hotel staff to give you money back or retrieve your stuck item. You have to call their number on the machine, which is normally out of hours, and leave a message and contact number. However, they don't get back to you, nice one Selecta more money for nothing. Stuff getting stuck in these vending machines is a common occurrence, I was told by the staff in the hotel, so how much extra does this company make out of this practice?

Ladrones de guante blanco. Intentas sacar una coca- cola con tarjeta de una maquina situada en El Polígono de Son Oms, Mallorca. En las instalaciones de Roig rent a car y te mandan un mensaje en el que dice: "en cuestión de 2 a 21 días laborables, se le devolverá el dinero" esto fue un 3 de noviembre a las 8:40 de la mañana. Aun sigo esperando. Les vuelvo a contactar y ahora me solicitan el numero de maquina, como si tuvieran muchas ahí.

Keep away from vending machine they must make thousands a year taking people's money and not refunding at least if someone robed you with a gun you can see it coming not when you read you bank statement...

Went to purchase a selecta coffee from one of the machines in a Train Station in Europe and it robbed me!! It did not give me my coffee and charged my card anyway! Definitely don’t recommend.

I would give no stars if that option was available. I paid £1.50 for a tea with milk from their vending machine at the A&E department at University of Durham hospital. I was provided with water with milk in - no tea. I took a photo and sent it along with proof of payment in an email with an explanation and asked if I could take products to the equivalent money from an honesty stall Selecta provide in my place of employment to save the faff on of a refund. They replied that I would have to fill in a refund form which they sent. I was initially unable to view this on my phone and told them so but then emailed them again to confirm I’d managed to fill in the form and send it off. That was a couple of weeks ago and I’m still waiting for my refund. I contacted them on the original email string asking for an update and I was again asked for proof of purchase which was already provided and told them of this. They haven’t bothered to respond. To not refund for a defective product is fraudulent.

Used a vending machine at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield it took 4 payments from my card a total of £5.60 for one snickers bar.

We have been using Selecta since we opened our business. I am very happy and satisfied with the service. Especially I would like to thank Ashley Phillips for his amazing work and dedication. Looking forward to work with this company for long a period of time.

Overcharged us for > 2 years vs. contract rates, a year after agreeing in writing that they had overcharged us we are still waiting for credits & cash to be returned. Horrendously bad customer service / relations which seems a common feedback here.

Avoid like the plague. Strongly urge you not to do business with this company

He llegado de viaje saco un cafe y nada ni fa cafe la maquina ni devuelve el dinero, no atienden wassap no atienden telefono a los tres dias me contestan el wassap me dicen que lo van a comprobar con la doto de la maquina que les envie y que ya me devolveran el dineronque les de mis daros y numero de cuenta nonme pidieron ni tan siquiera disculpas por la incidencia pero parte de culpa la tiene AENA por dejar que metan sus maquinas alli veonque tienen mil quejas mas las que la gente no dice por falta de riempo y la mala imagen que damos de España y de los aeropuertos gestionados por Aena

Ganz schlimmer Vertrieb in Spanien. Keine Lösungen für kleinere Firmen. Wollen mehr Maschinen aufdrücken als man benötigt. Wenn man keine Kundne möchte, soll man es sagen.

In the Nice Airport at Terminal 1, selecta coffee machine took my money but I received only hot water instead of coffee. I took some of pics of the case and I require refund.

Seit 9 Tagen keine Geldannahme unterdessen auch keine Kartenzahlung möglich , ich will daher nicht wissen wie das Gerät innen aussieht

Took so many payments off me but never got anything!! Every time I attempted they took money I didn't realise until I checked over my bank statement!!!! Crazy!! Taking advantage of people in hospital waiting around for hours before being hospitalised. Disgrace.

Kaiserslautern Hbf, es gibt dort 4 Automaten in der Unterführung plus ein paar an den Bahnsteigen.

Ständig haben sie kein Wechselgeld, nehmen keine Münzen an oder sind gar völlig außer Betrieb.

Es kommt auch vor, dass sie nicht auf die Rückgabetaste reagieren und dein Geld einbehalten.

Störungshotline gibt's auch nicht mehr. Zwar ein Online-Formular, aber da kannst du nur Störungen melden und nicht dein verlorenes Geld zurück überweisen lassen! Außerdem passiert selbst seit Wochen nach einer gemeldeten Störung - nichts!

2 Sterne, weil ich einmal 3 Bifi's zum Preis von 1 bekommen haben. Die ersten beiden sind im Automaten stecken geblieben, woraufhin das Geld wieder rauskam; beim dritten Mal kamen sie alle drei auf einmal. Das ist die Firma mir aber auch schuldig, nachdem die Automaten mir schon 2x 2€ ohne Gegenleistung gefressen haben.

Edit: Selecta hat jetzt mal die Automaten am Kaiserslautern Hbf repariert/Wechselgeld nachgefüllt. Wenn die Firma ihre Automaten auch zukünftig besser in Schuss hält und auf Störungen schneller reagiert, stufe ich meine Bewertung gerne hoch!

-10 POINTS - THIS COMPANY IS POISON! DO NOT SIGN CONTRACTS WITH THEM. The suited men behind Selecta is taking us to court as they do not feel they breached a contract after zero customer service back 2 years ago. I have given you all warning during our experience and this is how they perform and play the game to get money back. Thieves! I am willing to give you written warnings on trustpilot till the day I die! to help other companies stay well clear of them! The vendors who we have recently chosen to go with have explained to us how many customers they get from Selecta, this is due to the same experiences happening to them. There is a page set up elsewhere with other companies talking about the same experience and of court action.

I've been charged twice for a tea that wasn't in stock. Filled out all the paperwork and had no response

Paid for a cornish pastry but didn't get it. Asked for a refund, I had to fill in a refund request form. After 1 month and a half still no refund. I will call my bank and I will report that transaction as FRAUD.

Bought a bottle if water in a Travelodge vending machine for £1.65 and when i checked my statement they had charged £1.90. I know only 25p difference but if they do that to everyone…. Looks like i got off likely looking at other reviews.

This company is a joke, and whoever works with them is guilty by association!!!!
Regulators and trading standards should investigate them and put a stop to their behaviour!
I was charged for a coffee called creme brulee, only to get a cup of hot water!
The reception at the University where this happened said I have to contact the company directly.... this is what I have done, and they expect me to fill in a form with 19 questions including my credit card details to process my refund!
I told them on the phone multiple time and by email in writing verbally that this is not on and not acceptable, and I refuse such "apology" but they only keep repeating this is their only way to sort it out.
Therefore, let them now pay the consequences...
The matter will be raised at the University, and the credit card company have already been informed and all proof documented and given to them... So time for them to learn how to do business.
Any business accepting to do business with such companies should beware of their reputational risk and don't make this mistake.
