Since its foundation in 2004, Schoolblazer has been at the forefront of developments in schoolwear. We recognised from the start that independent school parents valued convenience and service and were not receiving this from traditional shops. We therefore pioneered online retailing with free name-taping of all garments to save parents time and money. Sustainability and ethical trading are at the heart of our operation. We are the only UK schoolwear retailer to have gained membership of the Ethical Trading Initiative and ensure that everybody who works with our business has a better life as a result. We are carbon neutral, offsetting all our emissions, including those used in the creation of our fabrics, via Carbon Footprint. Where we can, we spend our offset to invest in low energy schemes in our producer countries – ensuring that future garments are made using more sustainable energy. We have almost eliminated single use plastics from our supply chain and over 75% of the polyester we use has been recycled. All of our cotton is now sourced as “Better Cotton”, meaning we work with farmers to ensure that their land management and processes are as sustainable as possible. Our Limitless sportswear range is focussed on driving participation across the schools with fabrics and styles designed for young bodies to ensure that everyone, irrespective of ability, feels confident being active. Across the range our use of recycled polyester is over 90%, meaning that our customers now have the opportunity to select a fully sustainable sportswear option. All of this goes to some way to explain why Schoolblazer is now the leading supplier to the independent sector. We aim to deliver convenience for parents, design and product innovation for schools, comfort and fit for pupils and sustainability for the planet. Schoolblazer sent all my items quickly and it was packaged so nicely! When I needed to exchange for smaller sizes I couldn't believe how quickly they sent replacement items! This was needed as my daughter was about to start her new school and we needed the items quickly. I was also so pleased to have the name labels sewn in! Thank you!

Arrogant service delivery. Parents, please lay complaint with CMA
Schoolblazer charged me the difference between the sale and normal price for an item bought during their November 2025 sale even though I returned the item within the 28 day timeframe specified in their terms and conditions. When I queried this with them the reply was that the sale price was only for items in stock at the time of the sale. I then replied that the next size up was in stock at the time of the sale and that their reason for rejecting a refund was unfounded. Their following response was that I paid the price difference and could have contacted their customer service team to query it. Therefore I basically committed to the price difference. Needless to say that I am unhappy about their arrogant attitude towards dealing with my query. I have subsequently raised a complaint with the CMA to investigate Schoolblazer and I would urge any parent to do the same. It is not fair on parents to be forced into buying from just one supplier. And to be mistreated by 'resolving' queries in their favour.

Unfortunately, there appears to have been some misunderstanding around our Returns policy regarding items purchased in our sale and would like to clarify what that is. During a sale, only in-stock items are discounted, whilst stocks last. We make this clear in all our communications and on the website when the sale promotion is running. Whilst sale items can subsequently be exchanged at the sale price within 28 days of the sale ending, this is only if the new size required is in stock at the time the exchange is processed, not if it was in stock during the sale. We do state this clearly in our Returns Policy under the section titled Sale Returns, here: schoolblazer.com/returns-policy
That said, we recognise that this may not have been made as clear as it should have been during our correspondence with you. We are very sorry about that and if you felt the tone of our communication did not make you feel listened to or supported. We can assure you that was not our intention.
We have asked a Senior member of our Customer Care team to contact you directly to resolve your issues. In the meantime, your feedback has been shared internally and will be used to help us improve how we explain our policies and how we handle queries of this nature in future.
