Since its foundation in 2004, Schoolblazer has been at the forefront of developments in schoolwear. We recognised from the start that independent school parents valued convenience and service and were not receiving this from traditional shops. We therefore pioneered online retailing with free name-taping of all garments to save parents time and money. Sustainability and ethical trading are at the heart of our operation. We are the only UK schoolwear retailer to have gained membership of the Ethical Trading Initiative and ensure that everybody who works with our business has a better life as a result. We are carbon neutral, offsetting all our emissions, including those used in the creation of our fabrics, via Carbon Footprint. Where we can, we spend our offset to invest in low energy schemes in our producer countries – ensuring that future garments are made using more sustainable energy. We have almost eliminated single use plastics from our supply chain and over 75% of the polyester we use has been recycled. All of our cotton is now sourced as “Better Cotton”, meaning we work with farmers to ensure that their land management and processes are as sustainable as possible. Our Limitless sportswear range is focussed on driving participation across the schools with fabrics and styles designed for young bodies to ensure that everyone, irrespective of ability, feels confident being active. Across the range our use of recycled polyester is over 90%, meaning that our customers now have the opportunity to select a fully sustainable sportswear option. All of this goes to some way to explain why Schoolblazer is now the leading supplier to the independent sector. We aim to deliver convenience for parents, design and product innovation for schools, comfort and fit for pupils and sustainability for the planet. School Blazer are not cheap but are helpful and I’ve not had issues with the speed of dispatch. The quality has been a bit of an issue but they seem very willing to offer exchanges / partial refund. They are easy to get hold of!

Sizes partly too small
Sizes were good, except from the trousers which were too tight and had to be returned. They seem to be small compared to other items. Good quality and really good service!

I feel I have a gun to my head having…
I feel I have a gun to my head having to use this company as the school tells us to buy from here.
My daughter is tall and slim and none of the items fit well. I have had to have them altered.
Nothing beats taking the time to try it on and buy what is required, The endless trips to the post office to return items are quite frankly a waste of my time.
I returned a badly made and fitted skirt and asked for someone to call me and no one did. My internet went down and I couldn't order a new skirt that I desperatly needed for the new term. I rang and asked if I could order over the phone and was bluntly told no.
I have had my daughters skirt made and will continue to look for alternatives.
As a side note three pairs of PE leggings split down the seems and I sent pictures no one ever got back to me. Seems to be a shoddy set up to me.
I have emailed the school I doubt anything will change. I have always bought new uniform and have another 6 years of this.

Our sizing is based on an industry standard size model together with the measurement data entered by our own customers on the website. This allows us to ensure that we cater for the majority of pupils and provide the best fit possible, most of the time. We do understand however that there will always be some that fall in between sizes.
Just to explain, we are unable to take orders over the telephone for security reasons. We can only accept orders placed via the website where customers are taken through the 3D secure payment authentication process.
