Best food straight from the farmers

The quality of the produce is second to none and the prices compare very well. I have taken to using the recipe boxes and love the lentil lasagne, along with seasonal salad, which I served to my sister and cousin for lunch. They loved it and my cooking skills have gone up in their esteme.

Great food, much better than the organic you get in supermarkets

I really wanted to like Riverford, but your delivery is very problematic.

We live in a gated apartment building, but we have a concierge so getting beyond the main building gates is not a problem. There is also always someone at home during delivery times.

The deliveries were always problematic. First two weeks, it was left outside of the gates. Then it was left with concierge, even though I left explicit delivery instructions.

I was due another delivery today, but it is not there. Maybe it was there and someone picked it? Maybe it was left outside of the building? I have no idea. I have no way to be sure.

One last thing, you packaging is "cute" but it is far from being functional. There are no labels outside of the package, so it is easy for someone else to pick it up by mistake.

Tasty home grown food. Prompt delivery. Good coommunication.

Great selection, easy to order and great delivery service

I'm a new customer to Riverford, and, so far, I'm really pleased that I decided to exchange (often) bland supermarket fruit and veg for a box of flavourful, fresh, organic produce delivered to my door. The quality is top-notch - really tasty. I love that I get produce (some of which I haven't tried before, like wild garlic) that inspires me to cook more creatively too - sometimes following recipes which come with the box. I highly recommend Riverford for all those who appreciate ethically-sourced, tasty, organic food.

The produce has been lovely, deliveries are timely and the packaging is eco friendly. Good variety available.

I love the contents of this box - beautiful vegetables, and things like wild ramson leaves were so beautiful to cook with - a real surprise.

Order was missing and so not delivered. I was given a refund promptly when I notified them which is fine but then didn't have the food I had planned for the weekend. Mistakes happen but I think some compensation for inconvenience would be good.

The products and service we receive is always fantastic. It is a slightly pricier way of buying veg but I would rather do that knowing I am getting good produce and supporting farmers. Local produce and seasonal veg is supplied when possible.

The quality and variety of fruit and vegetables from Riverford is outstanding. All packaging is environmentally good, either recycle or compost. Information, recipes and musings accompany each box (entertaining and informative).
We do eat A Lot of veg each week and I have never been disappointed.

Nothing but great things to say about my first month of veg/fruit boxes with Riverford. Really delicious produce - I go with the seasonal 100% UK grown veg box - feels great to be able to support UK growers and reduce food miles. It's really cool that Riverford re-use the cardboard boxes and plastic packaging/ice packs. Food has so far always been delivered with care - the delivery driver I've had so far has been super friendly (great that a lot of the deliveries are made in electric vans). And I picked up such a lovely voicemail today from Debbie in customer services who was phoning to check how everything was going - was a really nice touch. Fantastic experience so far
