Never normally leave reviews but I felt obligated to do so. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Kriss (the hungarian Kriss as there are a few apparently haha) who had a great attitude and was bang on time. Called me also beforehand to make sure I was aware of the pick up and was generally and all around great guy.

It's a difficult job at the best of times, mine being more so as I had several cars in a bad way, making it challenging. But as I said, didn't make a fuss and was very friendly. At the end of the day it's the people who represent your company that make it what it is and I hope his efforts are truly recognised. Just salt of the earth kind of person, and Kriss if you're reading this I wish you and your family all the best mate. Top bloke.

Redcorn collected my car within 24 hours of my initial enquiry, driver called me 40mins before collection to let me know his arrival time. Rob collected my car, was efficient and I couldn't have asked for a nicer, more friendly guy. Very happy.

Driver gave me an hour notice on day company had arranged. He was very amiable and very capable. Very happy all round.

This is not a reliable workplace. Redcorn lets employees go without any prior warning, explanation, or consideration. People are suddenly left without a job, without understanding why, and with no support. It shows a complete lack of compassion, especially knowing that people have bills to pay and families to support. This kind of treatment is not acceptable in any work environment.

Very fast process, called up on the Wednesday and ben collected my car on Thursday and payment has been paid today. Ben (driver)was very helpful with the whole process. Explained everything that I had to do and was very friendly, he also called me in advance to let me know his ETA. would definitely use again.

Very impressed with this company. Easy to arrange for vehicle to be scrapped. Andy the pick up driver was very good & kept me informed with he's arrival time.

I am extremely disappointed and disheartened by our experience with this company. We were initially quoted £3,692 for our vehicle. However, after a follow-up call during which we provided detailed information about the car’s condition, we were told the offer would only be £900 — only 25% of the original quote.

We confirmed that the vehicle is in excellent condition: the bodywork is pristine with no damage, no accidents, and no write-offs. It is mechanically sound, has a service history, and the MOT is up to date. Despite this, the final offer was drastically reduced without any valid justification.

Billy, the representative we spoke with, was friendly and apologetic. However, we were told that this discrepancy was due to an “automatic system-generated quote,” which, in our view, is an unacceptable excuse for such a substantial and misleading discrepancy. This experience demonstrates a clear lack of integrity and accountability.

It is deeply troubling that a company can operate in this manner. As a charity, we rely on transparency and honesty, and it is incredibly disheartening to encounter such practices. Coming from a family with a background in reconditioned car parts, where honouring quotes was a matter of principle, this treatment is both shocking and disappointing.

We urge others to proceed with extreme caution. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this company.

Really unreliable. I booked in for pick up, stayed around all day for them and at the last minute they called to cancel with a childish bogus excuse.

Tried again the next day and a driver showed up unannounced when I wasn't there.

They are, however, a GREAT example of general incompetence, USELESS client service and POOR professionalism.

Ben phoned in advance so that I could meet him on site. He arrived punctually, introduced himself and proceeded to load my car onto the flat bed truck with efficiency and absolute minimum of fuss. We completed the paperwork and then shook hands . He is most friendly and he would be on my team 7 days a week. Thank you so much Ben.

Quoted on their site for £2650, was told as the mileage and because of the ongoing coolant issue they would only offer me £300 for it...

Redcorn Ltd collected my car on Thursday and I received the payment the next day in my account. The driver Attila is very friendly and always smiling which made the process smooth and easy.

I’m so pleased I contacted Redcorn to scrap my vehicle last week - office staff were brilliant but the main star was Andrew who was very polite and from the start of the day, had excellent correspondence and kept me updated.

My Land Rover was quite tricky to get onto the lorry but with Andrew’s patience and problem solving, he managed in the end all while keeping a very professional and pleasant attitude.
