Got quotes from several salvage dealers but Redcorn came up with 30% more cash for my scrap car than the others. They collected the car quickly and as the said that payment would be made the following day...and payment was made. Initial contact and they explained clearly the process from start to finish. Redcorn you were very good!!

Aaron was very efficient.
He easily jumped-started the car, although it had been stationary for many years. He also relieved us of paperwork. Very helpful and friendly.

Five stars!!! Is that serious, are they genuine reviews? I have been looking for a heater hose for my 2015 Insignia 1.4l petrol. Vauxhall want £90 for a brand new part and the cheapest on Ebay is £54 for a brand new part. This is the email quote from Redcorn for a SECOND HAND part:

My reply:
So, I have to drive 100 miles to give you a CASH deposit, costing me £20 in petrol, then drive back to pick the part up another 100 miles costing me another £20. Total comes to £95!! All this for a second hand part? This sounds like a scam and I think most intelligent people would prefer to buy the part from Ebay for £54.

To sum up:
Number one in the UK? LOL
Cash only!
Go twice to get the part!
Cant even spell queue or punctuate properly.

The whole thing stinks and if it's genuine, I suggest they seriously sharpen up their act. My advice: Take payments over the phone or by bank transfer, do a bit of research on the price of second hand parts, don't just pluck a figure out of the air, that's what scammers do, don't make people drive hundreds of miles, thus harming the environment with unnecessary emissions and learn how to spell. If you apply these measures, you just may be able to live up to the claim that you are professionals and number one supplier in the UK!

The driver Dom was very professional and arrived when he informed me he would be there.

Excellent service. Best offer compared to other scrap merchants. The customer service on the phone was wonderful - they made the whole process very easy. Was offered next day service but opted for 48h later. Text messages confirmed collection and was called by Jeff 30 minutes before arrival. Jeff was very professional and made the car collection very smooth - as an extra bonus he even completed the paperwork for the DVLA on line for me. Highly recommend Redcorn Ltd.

I was dubious about the number of 5* reviews Redcorn gets - but Im adding my own.
They quoted me the highest valuation of my local scrap dealers and were able to do next day collection. Great email communications prior to collection and a call 30 minutes before the driver arrived.
I live in a terraced house with very narrow roads around, god knows how the driver navigated these so well.
He was professional, friendly and super efficient at collection. Paperwork all completed quickly and cash paid on time the next day as promised.
The whole thing was effortless. I wish every company was like this.

I scraped a van first they quoted me £850 online when I spoke with them asked everything condition of the etc they said we can offer you £500 after red corn picked up the van and scraped it they transferred only £200 now they aren’t taking my calls or listening to them poor customer service

I was contacted yesterday ( 19th June ) that my car would be collected Friday ( 20th June ) . It was clearly
explained to me what documents I would need , and I was
kept informed of the pick - up time,
the communication was excellent.

Mohammed expertly loaded my car & was very polite & professional , during the whole experience , he is a very personable young man .

Later I had a problem with notifying DVLA so I phoned Redcorn Ltd & the receptionist was very cheerful , as was the person she transferred me to, & the problem was resolved.

All the staff I encountered were polite & helpful & patient , I was very pleased with the service.

Was given quote on the website which i accepted, was called the next morning by a member of staff to arrange collection....was offered a slot for the next day and was told the driver would call an hour and a half before his arrival, which he did.
Very friendly and efficient. Loaded car and took bank details for payment which was paid into our bank the following afternoon.

Aaron from Redcorn phoned me an hour before arriving, allowing me time to get everything ready. He filled in all the necessary DVLA requirements online on his phone and put the car on the flat bed. I received a DVLA confirmation email almost immediately. He got the car sorted and on the truck very efficiently and within 2 hours, the agreed sum was transferred into my account. Happily will I recommend them.

It was smooth and quick the guy who picked up the car was friendly and professional also a good rate of pay if you want to scrap your vehicle. I could of sold my vehicle but the car had problems u would not like a family to have e been in the car.

I used redcorn LTD to scrap my van today. The driver Aaron who collected my vehicle was super nice and friendly, he made the transfer quick and simple, with great communication. Highly recommend using.

Waited all day from 8am, got a phone call from the pick up driver after 2pm saying he had 3 more pick ups before mine, but should be there by 5pm. Got another from him at 5.17pm saying he couldn't do it because it exceeded his legal driving hours. Not my problem, shoddy company, only gave 1 star because there isn't the opportunity to give none at all. A complete day wasted.
