Would give a negative star if I could. The whole experience with their sales rep, Sabine felt like a scam. Classic pushy salemanship insisting that "I have to act fast". I was happy to act fast but when I asked some standard questions about the cars which any reasonable customer will ask (e.g. tyre wear, battery, if I can test drive) she became really rude and evaded all my questions with 'hand waving' claims like 'oh trust us we are a licensed dealership', etc. I never doubted that they weren't but it's quite reasonable for a customer to ask these questions before making a big purchase! She insisted that I pay a deposit and only then I can test drive the car that is worth $40k - not a small amount! And when I questioned as to why I need to pay a deposit to test drive a car when literally every other dealer allows this without a deposit she started gaslighting me that I should be grateful that she has "gone above and beyond" to find this car and to my shock, just eventually hung up on me rudely while I was mid-sentence. That was just disrespectful.

Furthermore, the prices that she was giving me were literally the same prices I was getting on CarSales - in fact I found a few cheaper options on CarSales too... so not sure where this "above and beyond" service claim was coming from. I had also asked for a BMW X3 and she kept pushing the X1 on me even after I told her that I am not interested in that (probably because she would earn a higher cut on that).

Truly a shocking and terrible terrible experience. I really don't know how your business has been surviving for this long. My guess is because their target clientele is unsuspecting older individuals (she said it herself on the phone that that's usually the people they serve). I really feel bad for them.

If you are a savvy & educated buyer please save yourself the time and grief and don't bother with these guys. Truly horrible people to deal with.

Excellent front end with Rob Norris. He knew me from buying two cars previously. The order went through perfectly. Communication really slowed down around delivery time and I found I was only getting communication through the supplier.

This is the 3rd car I have bought with the assistance of Private Fleet. Each time they have made the whole process really easy.
They followed up every query I had in a very timely manner, and helped with the trade in of my other vehicle.
The staff were helpful and responsive.

I purchased a Kia K4 GT Line car for my daughter, I paid close to $49,000 in cash weeks before the car was due to arrive. My daughter swapped for a later shift at work to be home for the arrival of her new car only for it not to be delivered. I paid over $70 for Ubers to get her to work on time as her trade in car was picked up over a week before. You can imagine our disappointment I called 4 different people but it still took over an hour for a response to find out there was a miscommunication between Private Fleet and Norris Motor Group Brendale. Andrew from NMG promised me a $100 fuel voucher for the inconvenience, the car arrived on the 20th of August and I have spoken to 3 staff members at Private Fleet and 2 from NMG all promising to forward on the fuel voucher to no avail, Andrew has never replied to any of my text messages or calls since apologising and offering the fuel voucher. I find this to be very unprofessional. As soon as everyone received my money the service declined. I am purchasing two more new cars one for my other daughter and granddaughter but due to the end service I will only deal with local car dealerships here on the coast from now on.

This is the 4th. time I have used Private Fleet to purchase a new vehicle. It took less than 2 hours from my enquiry to completing my purchase & I saved several thousand dollars on the deal.
I would definitely recommend Private Fleet if you want to save time & money when buying a new vehicle.

Easy to deal with very nice people.Everything went smoothly except delivery dates changed a couple of times,and multiple call to have trade vehicle picked up.Other than that as long as you know what you want,it saves traipsing around dealerships trying to get a good deal.
