some issues that need resolving. but still the best broker. hence 3 stars
Been with Policy wave for years, but it has changed quite a bit recently. when you receive a renewal, why don't you give the best price straight away. when I phone you still found cheaper. Just give me cheapest straight away. next, once the renewal is sent, 3 weeks early, they call you EVERY day. I know I need to review it, but give me time at least. Some staff need more training as well as i got confused with what they were trying to explain. please work on these going forward. finally, £50 admin fee!!! for what. letting a computer find the cheapest rate, then emailing it to me. outrageous. understand the need for a fee, but not £50. this is why I'm giving 3 stars.

Our administration charge is a one off for the work undertaken not limited to renewing your policy, covers all our costs in producing the paperwork, informing the insurer etc...I hope this gives you some understanding as to the costs involved. I note that last year the fee was waived so you have only paid this once in the last two years. We cannot simply waive charges that assist in the running of the business and in the interests of treating customers fairly the charges are appplied to all customers and represent the work we undertake. That said I note you have renewed your policy again with us. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for your continued support.
Great Service and Good Price
I have been using Policywave for over ten years now as a driving instructor and I have always had a great service. It’s very straight forward and easy each year when renewing my policy. I always find the staff to be friendly, responsive and helpful which means that I use them year after year. I would recommend them to anyone.

Had a few little problems sorting out my insurance changing over from one vehicle to another I’m Driving Instructor is Insurance a Yousef got back to me and sorted it all out. Happy to stay with them next year if the price is right.

As per our final response, you failed to disclose correct information. You have the right to cancel and the cooling-off period does apply and gives you the right to cancel the policy, but it does not prevent us from applying reasonable charges as per the regulators guidence (ICOBS 7.2.2) for all the effort and extra time taken to sort this out which would not have occured should the correect infomation have been given to us in the first place. I'm pleased to see you have decided to stay with us instead.
