We chose penthouse Carlton carpet for…

We chose penthouse Carlton carpet for our hall, living room and bedroom and have never had a carpet which sheds like this! Every time it is swept the vacuum cleaner is full of fluff and fluff balls up in seating areas even after several months. Very disappointed with this quite expensive carpet.

Poor quality carpet

Most reviewers seem to be praising the speed in which they get samples. Great if thats all you need. "a sample" I however, agree with the recent review by Maria Softley. Wait till you get the carpet and your heart will sink. It is of poor quality and like Maria mine has shading that is unacceptable. Maria and I are not alone with this problem, other reviewers have placed similar comments. Avoid this company like the plague.

We are sorry to see you have written another negative review - as we stated on 11th October 2022 "working in conjunction with our retailers, we take all consumer complaints seriously, and have investigated your concerns fully with the help of a professional consultant to give us his unbiased opinion regarding the nature of the problem, which is confined to only one of the rooms in which the carpet was laid. The “shading” is due to local conditions and as explained in our detailed and lengthy response, not a manufacturing fault."

Super sample service

Swift and free supply of sample. Really helpful to see and compare to other items in the house to ensure it all matched. I placed an order with our local contractor as a result

We had seen your range of wool 80/20…

We had seen your range of wool 80/20 carpets plus
other makes and sent for samples. How you did it I really don’t know but your samples came through the
door the very next morning which was quite impressive!
We thought the quality and colour range was good and
have subsequently ordered our carpet from one of your
suppliers.
